We had planned a Maui baby moon and after doing…read moreextensive research on photographers, I decided to go with Love & Water due to their breathtaking portfolio and unique style. We were lucky enough to get a sunset slot on a busy holiday weekend just booking a few days in advance, but would recommend booking a few weeks out if you can. Adam was our photographer and we appreciated his laid back and easygoing nature and his ability to coax out some smiles from our toddler who hates posing for photos. I rented the Kasia Kulenty Selena gown in sand as well as brought my own dress, and was able to easily do an outfit change at the beach. It was nice to have a rental gown for photos in the water since you didn't have to worry about it getting wet / sandy. We opted for the Sand & Seashells package (30 mins for a family of 3 was enough time to get in family pics, pics of my toddler, as well as solo maternity pics) and we also had limited time due to the sun setting. We were thrilled with our preview photo which came the next day, as well as the rest of the gallery which was ready 3 weeks after. Love & Water did an amazing job editing the sand to get the look that we wanted and just let the gorgeous, natural colors of the sunset shine through. We opted to upgrade the entire gallery for $150 additional and will cherish those photos for a lifetime!

We booked our "Maui Mini Session at sunset in Wailea" for our Babymoon on a Sunday at noon for the…read morenext day Monday at 530pm and received our photo gallery by Wednesday of the same week. We got a confirmation email, an email with tips on how to optimize the session, and later a text confirming our appointment and location from our photographer Max. Just like minimauisession.com says, the session costed $299 (+ $10 Hawaii photography permit) for 20 minutes of photography on a beautiful quiet beach, and included all the 250+ images the photographer captured. No added costs/fees/gimmicks! This felt very affordable (compared to our resort that offered a "free" 40minute photography session, but heavily charged you for select photos) and professional. The location was very convenient as we were staying walking distance in Wailea. Communication was clear and prompt. The photographer Max was on time and thorough. Delivery of the gallery was within 48 hours! Initially the gallery had a watermark, but I emailed them and they removed it right away. The gallery is password protected, and you can download right away, the photos do not expire. The photos are beautiful, high quality and we loved so many! I think 20 minutes is perfect, otherwise two introverts tire of the attention. I would use this service again for a future occasion in Wailea!

They happily retouched the photos I requested and even upgraded my photo package, which I really appreciated. Their willingness to make things right showed that they genuinely care about customer satisfaction. While I'd rate the photos themselves around 4 stars, I'd give their customer service 4.5 to 5 stars. Because they listened to my feedback, responded promptly, and worked with me to improve the final product, I would recommend them to anyone looking for a professional and friendly photography experience in Maui.
