Kingdom Coffee is a great coffee shop in Springfield, MO. They roast their own beans and make all their food items except for the baked goods. I ordered their lavender latte to try out their homemade syrups, and it was delicious. My only hang up is that I wish they had pour overs as an option on their drink menu. They have done a great job aesthetically with the interior design. There's plenty of seating inside, so it's great venue for studying or meeting up with friends.

Such an atmosphere.. soothing music, artful design, and enough space to spread out on a quiet study day. The coffee cake is on the denser side, like a scone. The London fog tea latte was pleasant and a hint of sweet. Would recommend for studying or a coffee date, as the second room has low tables and chairs.

Way more seating than I thought they'd have. I am sure once classes start in this college town this place will be teaming. Fun downtown corner spot. Street parking available. The staff was beyond polite, professional and helpful answering questions about other local spots. And pretty COVID safe for the point we're at in this weird journey. The coffee was robust, not too acidic. And gratefully not over sweetened. And nice job with the latte art too. If I was in college here this would be a great hang spot with friends or study spot for a change of scenery.

Just passing through on a road trip & needed some food & caffeine. We've gone to several coffee shops that look cool but their coffee is god awful! This place was really nice & clean, quiet & inviting if you were working. My husband & I both got the rotating brew & shared a cortado. The coffee was strong & the cortado could've been a little warmer but was still good. Then we got a breakfast burrito & avocado toast. Both were really good, it's nice to find something substantial to eat at a coffee shop other than a pastry. This would be a go to spot if we lived around here.

Great coffee shop with a fun interior atmosphere. Tasty coffee and friendly service! Plus they roast their own beans and sell bags and merch in store. Stopped by here on a bike ride through downtown and enjoyed a nice cortado.

Stopped by for a coffee while in town and found out that your large coffee is a 12 oz. Ok, took the 12 oz to go and when I got to my car and tasted it (vanilla latte) I was surprised to find it barely warm (not hot at all) and the flavor was not good. Quite lackluster for a $5 12 oz coffee. I must have caught you on a bad day because you had great reviews.

Great coffee, cute plants, unique atmosphere! Loved the latte art! That's always a plus! Quick and friendly customer service and they bring the drinks to you! Absolutely a must stop coffee shop if you're in the Springfield area! We were passing through and decided to go to the highest rated coffee shop and Kingdom Coffee did not disappoint!

I like the decor but coffee shouldn't take 25 min to make especially when there isn't a line.

We only had six people in our own fabulous pink room. There were only 5 or 6 people out front so why did it take 3 hours to be served our lunch & to leave from the time we arrived at 11 am & didn't get to leave until 1:30 pm. Three hours to get our meal & eat was an incredibly long period of time. It was freezing in there--the room temperature was zero.

I had a blood orange nitro coffee and it was amazing! The building is beautiful and a great place to relax or chat with a friend for a few minutes. The group that is outside of the shop with the dogs is very strange and this is not the shops fault but I don't understand why the city of Springfield doesn't ask them to move. I like to think of myself as a coffee/espresso snob who knows a good cafe when I come across one. I'm from Springfield and moved away to the Bay Area, CA before ever trying Coffee Ethic. I came back home for my wedding and decided to walk here one morning instead of going to my usual spot Mudhouse cafe. So I glad I decided to because this place feels like a 1 of 1. Our trip was 5 days and we went every day and every time it did not disappoint from our initial high. We've tried the peanut miso cortado with a sparking water back, lemon espresso tonic, cherry creme brûlée latte, and blood orange nitro cold brew, askinosie mocha and I loved every one. The streamed milk was appropriate based on the drink with the steamed milk passing the spoon test and keeping its silky microfoam texture until the last sip. I also enjoy looking behind the counter to watch the process. I enjoy the process myself at home on my espresso machine and rarely do I see a cafe put in the same work (I understand commercial and household kitchens will need to do it differently based on on volume). They use a distributor and tamper to evenly prepare the espresso puck. Even though their commercial grade machines likely don't need that prep work it's feels reassuring they are taking those prophylactic measures. And the most interesting tidbit of local history in the cafe I learned is the wood they salvaged from a historic flood in 2006 they've repurposed into benches and chairs for seating. I haven't been to a cafe like this in the Bay Area and am envious I don't have this as my local cafe. This place deserves its spotlight and recognition beyond just being a great cafe for Springfield or even Missouri. My only wish is they offered croissants and pain au chocolate

It feels like there's a lot of care behind everything they serve. It also has that feel of a well-run, possibly family-driven operation -- like everyone involved knows their role and executes it well. The vibe is good, the space is inviting, and it's just an enjoyable place to spend some time. Pricing is a bit on the higher side -- more of a "treat yourself" stop than an everyday routine -- but the quality backs it up. Definitely worth a visit, especially if you appreciate good coffee.

Service is okay usually, but I came through the drive through around 7 AM on Friday, 2/6 and was very disappointed. I was the only vehicle in the drive through from start to finish. I ordered the açaí bowl, and pulled to the window as directed. I waited a good 7-8 minutes, then the employee opened the window with the card reader and gave me the total. No "hi, hello, good morning," just the total. I waited a few more minutes and then the same employee opened the window and handed out my food without a word. I thanked him for the food and he just closed the window. The customer service was completely absent from the transaction. I don't expect a full conversation, but a simple greeting at the window or "you're welcome" when I got my food would have been nice. I also thought the (at least) 10-minute wait for an almost $14 after tax açaí bowl was a bit much, but I usually don't mind if the food and service is adequate. Not sure if the employees were just having a rough day, but the experience was disappointing at best and at 7 AM it has the potential to set the tone for the rest of a customer's day. Note - picture is after I mixed the bowl. It looks prettier when you first get it, and is more satisfying when you walk away with a better experience.
