Definitely my favorite coffee spot in the city, and in a city that has quite a few quality shops. The pour overs and the espresso's that I've had in my multiple visits have always been excellent. I've tried different origins each time and always been impressed. The service is excellent as well. Anytime I've been there by myself, I've always ended up chatting with the baristas who are friendly and knowledgeable. Plenty of good seating, never had a problem finding a spot and there's lots of natural light that makes for a nice spot to hang out for a couple hours. Sometimes I'll go for regular old coffee (especially if given the option of a pour over), but we wandered in on a rainy Friday evening and I was feeling more like a latte, so I ordered one and OH MY GOD I'M SO GLAD I DID. It was seriously the best latte I've ever had - and I've lived in Seattle, so I'm just going to let that sink in for a minute. It was the perfect magical combination of an expertly pulled shot of espresso with the creamiest, impeccably steamed milk. I almost wanted to stop drinking it so that it would never be gone, but nope, couldn't stop because it was just too good. The owner was super nice and was chatting with me and my dude while we enjoyed our beverages, but seriously, I would return even if they had the worst service in town because THAT LATTE. Ugh, now I can't even appreciate all the other lattes in town. I'll just be sticking to americanos when at any other springfield coffee shop to save myself from future disappointment. read more

The atmosphere that is created at kingdom is wonderful. Beautiful artwork (especially the Crown made of stretched strings), positive music, and creative lighting make this a great place to study, socialise, or relax after a hard day. The coffee is great. Enough said. The smoothness and richness in every sip makes me wish I had an unlimited amount of cash. I can't get enough. I have yet to find in Springfield a richer, bolder, and yet smooth and pleasant taste on the back end. Everything about this place is great. My only criticism is that they should have free refills on a regular cup of coffee. I understand why they do not. I would have drank that place out of business on the first visit! By far the best coffee in Springfield. Plenty of room and fast free wifi. I've been to coffee shops everywhere and Kingdom is one of the best anywhere. They bake their own treats which are always amazing. Just don't too attached to one because they change them often.
