    Teriyaki Steak

First off the flys in the outside seating tables were so annoying! Little buggers wouldn't leave me alone. Put up a fly trap strip already. Simple order of Teriyaki steak came out extremely slow. Place was not busy at the time. Staff seemed to be wandering around. Beef was good rices was good. Mac salad was bitter.

Huge portion, low price, and alright taste. We stayed around S Kihei so hung out in the area quite a lot and King's was one of the few restaurants that actually opened later. Their foods were mostly below $15 with a variety of options. It was not the best tasting, but at the same time, not bad. The portion was shockingly large lol. Chao Fun was a lot, a little more on a blander side. A solid option is Tonkatsu (can't go wrong with that) which comes with rice and macaroni salad. The couple selling was very efficient and nice. They are a few outdoor settings. All in all, I would not say add King's to your list, but maybe a choice if you have nothing to eat late at night

Hole on the wall restaurant that serves great food at very reasonable prices. They also open later than other restaurants in the area

    Veggie Chow Mein

Stopped in for a quick dinner, looked through their extensive menu and decided on the veggie chow mein. It was a huge portion for just $15, with the right balance of veggies and noodles, perfectly seasoned, and I ate it all! The seating area is a bit tired, but who cares? Everybody knows about the Paia Fish Market just 50 yards away, but give Kings a try, you won't regret it!

Don't even bother with place. Order the crispy wontons only find that they gave me gau gee. Took one bite and spit it out. The meat was all mushy and tasted like crap. Woke up sick the next morning and had to go urgent care cause had a severe rash all over my back stomach and legs. Dr said it was food poisoning and they probably use MSG. Do yourself a favor and don't go here. Update: called the place and the lady was a flat out rude bit*h. Called to let them know what happened and that the urgent care cost $300. Her response was I don't care. My workers eat and they no get sick. So sorry but get lost. Told her I'm contacting the health department. Her response was sorry don't care FU. In addition while my son and I were waiting on our order we watched one work cleaning up the outside trash cans and recycling then walk back into the kitchen and proceed to cook without washing their hands and one worker sitting in the back peeling what looked like onions over a trash can with no gloves and watched reach in there cause he would drop them and pull them out. If you want a terrible meal and possibly get sick then this dump is for you.

Authentic Asian-Hawaiian fusion. The portions are massive and two people can easily share one meal.

Good food, large portions, reasonable prices, friendly. Note only outdoor seating. More words for the algorithm

Noodles and Rice is located in Kihei. There is plenty of parking (free). There is a single-room bathroom for customers. Super clean! The restaurant is impeccably tidy. There was not a speck of dust or a single water stain in sight. Well done! Plenty of seating inside. Very inviting, cozy space. Perfect for late night noodles (and rice)! The staff were extraordinary friendly and kind. The pho was delicious! The Thai chili oil is quite spicy, but tasty too. I wish we were hungrier because their appetizers look good. We will return if we're ever back on-island!

RESERVATIONS: Not needed. PARKING: Free & plentiful. MENU: Vietnamese apps, noodle & rice selections, desserts. FOOD: Crispy Tiger Shrimp (4 pcs.) Sizable, peeled shrimp that needed to be cooked more as they visually and texturally tasted a tad rare. The coating was light and crispy but needed more seasoning as they relied on the included dipping sauce for flavor. Lettuce Wrap Romaine innards provided for the perfect vessel for the ground chicken, though the poultry needed a serious flavor oomph. Special Pho The pictures, especially the dark-hued broth, looked so good, I had to try it. This was my first ever beef pho and it was very disappointing. First off, the broth was not hot, a serious flaw for me. Secondly, the flavor was very subtle. I did enjoy the tender slices of meat, especially the meatballs. I wished my carb overload didn't go to waste, but it did. SERVICE: Greeting was immediate and welcoming. Food delivery was quick. Wait staff were friendly but there was no follow up. TIP: There's an automatic gratuity for kitchen staff and a surcharge for using credit cards. OVERALL: Meh.

I had Thai-Railway Fried Rice, which has diced, cooked NY steak chunks, in a bed of brown rice, as well as peas, carrots, scallions, Maui onions (yum!), with an egg over easy on top, with toasted onions. I dialed the spicyness at "medium". It was *perfect*! My wife had Pad Thai with chicken, and she left it at the default spicyness (medium), which ended up being too hot for her, but she soldiered on nevertheless enjoying the wonderful flavor. Perhaps because of the noodles and curry, the spiciness of the Pad Thai seemed much stronger than the Thai-Railway fried rice dish. Of course, we had leftovers and I'll probably end up eating hers, and she'll eat mine. The service was prompt, and the girl waiting on the tables was courteous, with a beautiful smile. The restaurant is deceptively roomy, seeming to be smaller from the outside, but once inside, it was quiet, clean, with comfortable chairs, clean tables, and large windows to enjoy some of Kihei's views (like today's gentle rain). As with most things these day on Maui, where everything comes in a shipping container, food costs are very noticable. Our meal, including thai ice tea and a soda, with a coconut ice-cream to finish it was about $44/person. Not cheap, but also not as bad as, say, Tommy Bahamas.
