Got a chalupa meal &the chalupa bread was stale I don't normally say anything but the meal was $14 so I walked back and asked about having it remade. Filipino manager lady was upset that I complained it was stale- they remade it and she just slid the bag over to me, no apology.. kinda rude. Got back to my car to eat and realized even my crunchy taco was stale and the shell fell apart. Couldn't even eat it.. This review won't stop people from eating Taco Bell, obviously.. but I hope this manager lady works on her customer service and starts serving better quality food knowing damn well the prices are jacked here on Maui. read more

Also just to add they the fucking group were just chatting with each other while there was a cue lining up. This is the only time I've had rude service in Hawaii. If you don't like your jobs go somewhere else. We just wanted to get some food on foot so that we don't drink and drive. This night group knows what they were doing and they chose to be rude and hold up the cue. I hope you guys get disciplined. But seeing the reviews it's clear the manager can't keep a good crew if they act like this. read more

The Crunchwrap supreme was soggy and no flavor/texture and I ate it right after I bought it. The chicken quesadilla barely had any cheese or chicken it was flat! Oh yeah, we went to Taco Bell on our Hawaiian vacay! After a long day on the Road to Hana, TB was the only place open- which was great because we were looking for something quick and filling. The entire drive thru screen was black/out of order but it wasn't like we needed a menu haha. The staff were really friendly, timely, and didn't mind when we asked for extra hot sauce packets. We popped a few coronas and enjoyed SO much Taco Bell on our beachside lanai. I mean, if that isn't paradise I don't know what is. read more

Employee named crystal didnt give me my card back when I went to through the drive through, and when I went back looking for it, she had it sitting where they keep their sauces. The employee named crystal was giggling and laughing like the situation wasn't serious. She should honestly be fired cause I will go to Kahului to get Taco Bell if it means I don't cross paths with that little girl ever again. Horrible customer service. Decided to give this location another try. I ordered a Nachos Bell grande with extra beef. Got charged but no extra beef. I ordered two bean burritos and the beans were gritty and burnt. On top of that there were hardly any beans. Very very disappointing! Will not be back. There are better choices on Maui! read more

Uhm honestly I never usually have problems at this location 98% of the time it's perfect. Their menu board wasn't working and their microphone was barely audible so we pulled forward to the window to place the order. The employee told us we would have to drive back around that he couldn't take the order there it could only be taken at the menu board that didn't work.. and didn't seem to understand that the voices coming through the headset he was listening to and the voices coming out of our mouths came from the same place. Worst service ever. read more

I went to this Taco Bell in Kihei (1819 S. Kihei Rd) to pick up my order on 9/25/23 at around 12noon. When I went in, no one was at the counter. I spoke up and asked in a loud voice, "Hello! Hello! Anyone here?" No one came. So I went to the side of the counter where I could see a few workers. I waved my arms and said loudly, "Hello? Anyone here?" No one came. So I had to go behind the counter and yelled again, "hello can somebody help me?" Finally, someone came and got my pre-ordered food. But they said, "don't come in the back of the counter." So I said, "sure, I didn't want to but no one was here. I even waved and yelled and no one came. It's your fault for not having anyone in front." Now, it was clearly their fault but the lady manager had a bad attitude and didn't even apologize and told me never to come pick up food there again. Some guy in the back even repeated that. What gall and what bad customer service. read more

So many negative reviews but this place quite literally puts the fast in fast food. I've never experienced such quick service - hands down best Taco Bell I've been to. The quality of the items here is good compared to other Taco Bell's I've visited. The items are also prepared with impressive speed. I've always found the staff to be friendly. Their soft drinks are hit or miss, though. I really wish they had Baja Blast more often. Almost every time I go it's just club soda coming out. That's my only real complaint. read more

Taco Bell is Taco Bell. It was New Year's day and not all too much was open around us. We didn't want to travel far for a quick lunch, so we ended up here. The food tasted just as I would expect it to. I prefer the quesadillas with extra spicy sauce. The staff was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO nice. They were polite, helpful, and sweet. Workers take pride in their establishment. They don't skimp on the filling, and the presentation is the best I've ever seen. Even though there are lots of tourists who will likely not notice or appreciate the care taken, the workers do it anyway. The workers keep the location really clean too. They don't just idle behind the counter when there is nothing to do; they come out and make sure the condiments are restocked and tables wiped. Very impressed! read more

Yes it is the pinnacle of a fast food restaurant. but come on when you put beans and meat into a taco with a caulking gun that is sad. however memories of youth bring me here once in awhile. I worked at a taco bell in my youth back then you made the beans in the store using LARD!. the meat you cooked there as well. by neighbor he went in early to make all the tacos for the day fresh. my grandmother was from Mexico I never told her I worked at Taco bell read more

I went In here 8 months pregnant craving a quesadilla and salsa. Pretty simple right? The woman at the register rushed me away and even though I specifically asked for 2 cups of salsa 2 separate times they did not happen. Maybe it's my crazy pregnant lady brain but I sent me on a rampage. This is not the first time they've messed up my order at this location. This time it just hit me hard. I mean it's such a simple thing and they weren't busy at all. I will be going to Kahului for my Taco Bell needs from now on. read more

I order 2 Burrito Subprime and I get charged, in addition, for the TB Foundation! What is the TB Foundation? I ask Kylan C. who took my order and he doesn't know and can't explanation to me why I was charged... He hands me off to another TB employee who doesn't know... All I get is the phone number for Corporate Offices of TB... so lame!!!! I do not want to give any money to a HUGE corporation (like TB) so they can make a tax deduction to some "charity" that I don't know anything about!!! What a rip off TB order # 275157 read more

I think this is the best Taco Bell on the island. Much better than the one in town in Kahului. My favorite is the firey dorito tacos. The service is fast. The food is fresh. A great place to get food from when I am in a hurry. read more

They have a Kihei location near my home but this Kahului location is where I usually frequent after work and they offer great daily specials throughout the week. I usually will get myself a refreshing glass of Horchata. This Cinnamon Rice Drink goes perfect with any Mexican dish to relieve that spice. I will most likely stick to a top 5- Ala Carte Taco (if you visit on Mondays, Tacos are $3.95!), Chicken Tortilla Soup, Caldo De Res (not pictured- Mexican Beef Soup with Potatoes and Carrots), Chicken Quesadilla with sour cream and guacamole on the side and Chorizo Con Huevos (Mexican Pork Sausage with Eggs). I have friends that are Regulars here and they usually get their Birria Tacos or Burritos and they love it! Unfortunately I got Chorizo Con Huevos on this last meal and the Chorizo & Eggs was very over done. (I should've said something but I was hungry). But the plate does come with your choice of Flour or Corn Tortillas and the most fluffiest Rice and Creamy Beans. I rated a 4 because mostly everything else I've ordered has been great and the service is always good even when they're pretty busy. The chips and salsa satisfy and help the busy waiting period go faster and you can always ask for a salsa refill.

They told me they would give me a full refund when I called the night before but as of today because I didn't bring the food back immediately when I got there they chose to treat me like Im an asshole for wanting my money back and said they'll give me 4.50 cuz it was in the rice. I threw the food out after I took the picture and made my own food. Im the sole parent of two small children so I communicated that I couldn't make it back that night. Not I wouldn't, I couldn't because bedtime routine and school is important. They never communicated that I will not be refunded the same if I didn't come back immediately. There's no way they are taking proper health precautions if there was a hair deep in the rice and if they are then it was intentionally put in my food. I wasn't rude or upset to begin with. They made me wait outside for like ten minutes while the front desk girl went to talk to someone and saw the bartender laughing about it and everyone looking at me and talking. You could have made a happy customer and just taken accountability or offer me a drink or a voucher or something but you chose to be disrespectful and offer me 4.50 so yeah I got upset and asked to speak to the manager cuz that's wrong and she lied and said they weren't in after just telling me they were. As the sole parent i dont get to make a lot of money on my own to eat out and that was supposed to be a special thing for us, and your lack of hospitality was a horrible experience for me and I didn't get to eat the food I bought. It's the principle. I've worked in customer service for years and what you did wasn't right. Your manager refused to speak to me and made the front desk girl lie to avoid the issue and made her handle it. I mentioned the health department because how would a hair get in there if you take all proper health precautions? And I said how do I know you are all washing your hands, wearing gloves, and hairnets when there's a hair in the food? Front desk girl then said the manager can hear everything from the camera yet still refused to handle it themselves so no you don't take care of your employees or stand behind them, you let her deal with the angry customer alone while you watched from your desk. Valid crash out on my part.

We later found out that gratuity had already been added beforehand "for a big group," even though there were only six of us. Because we were unaware that gratuity had already been included, we ended up leaving two tips totaling $48. This was very frustrating, but we decided to move on and enjoy our meal. Unfortunately, it then took almost 45 minutes for our food to arrive, and when it did, the order was incorrect. When we tried to explain to the staff that the food was wrong, they were not helpful and were initially unwilling to fix the issue. They brought the same incorrect food back, and we had to explain multiple times that the burger was not the one my sister had ordered. Eventually, they told us it was "only missing one ingredient." At that point, my sister was exhausted and anxious from having to explain the issue so many times, so she ultimately just ate the incorrect food. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, especially because we were on vacation and had been looking forward to visiting. The poor customer service, unexpected gratuity, long wait, and incorrect food made the experience even more frustrating
