Purchased our 2026 Kia Sportage EX AWD Hybrid from Kings Kia yesterday. From start to finish the process was easy. We worked with Bill Essen. Who was a super kind and informative throughout the whole process. Bill took us on a test drive and explained the vehicles finer points initially. Then we took some time to research the vehicles finer points on our own and dealerships and dealership pricing across the area. Finally we found thinking their lot that was loaded with more features than the average EX and for a lower price! Bill was even kind to give us a great deal on our vehicle on trade. Which we greatly appreciated! Rhonda was great in handling the finer financial details when it was time to take possession. Very kind and personable as well. Bill then finished up the process by setting us up on the kia connect app and showing us some more details about the car before we drove off. Bill assured us he's always here if we need anything and I believe it! I'd highly suggest using Bill Essen when you are looking for your next car. I'm hoping that future interactions with service will be as pleasant as the experience with sales! So far I love the vehicle and love the dealership. Writing this review on day 2 of ownership. Very efficient, friendly and reasonable staff. Isaiah was very knowledgeable and non-pressure, which is great for me. Not your typical car salesman, in that I never felt uncomfortable speaking with him or moving to the next step. Very hands-off, empathetic and he listened to my needs. Bought 2 cars here. These guys are great and HONEST unlike dealers such as Jeff Wyler who play games and try to sell cars the way they did in the 60s. Special recognition to GM Rob Bello, who is the consummate Professional and always follows up. The service department is also HONEST and again unlike dealers like Jeff Wyler will not recommend services not necessary and expensive. The worst car dealership in the entire city. All i needed was to get an oil change as you cannot take Kia cars to an oil change station since Kia forces you to go to the dealer for all oil changes. 1. You cannot drop off the car to get an oil change, you have to schedule it weeks out online. 2. Once you finally get in at the service department, you *HAVE* to come during business hours to pay because they DO NOT accept phone communications with customers. No one in the entire building, sales, parts or service will help you pay your bill and they will not help advocate for on your behalf to have anyone call you back. You can only leave messages and you will never get a return call, ever. No one will help you transfer to anyone to make a payment. You have to come in on foot to get help. People who work for a living will need to take off work to get an oil change. Unbelievably BAD company. Steer clear of this AWEFUL company at all costs. For that matter, steer clear of Kia because you HAVE to go to the dealer to get a simple oil change too. read more

Vehicle ordered: October 2021 Was told March/April 2022 for delivery in a December 2021 allocation. Called and touched base constantly. Sales manager was never able to give an ETA. Was always told that the manufacturer had never picked up the order to be made. Finally got fed up and cancelled order May 2nd. Took money they had held since October from our trade (they took and sold) and bought an inferior vehicle just so our family would have a car for the summer. WAS CONTACTED BY KIA CORPORATE CUSTOMER SERVICE TODAY AND TOLD OUR VEHICLE WAS ARRIVING AT THE DEALERSHIP ON THE 18TH OF MAY. Worst customer experience ever. Do not deal with these people if you want to do an honest and upfront deal. Terrible customer experience with a poor salesman who claims they used a third party and a trusted partner to price their vehicles, and their prices are below market value. I provided a couple additional cars in the area that were in much better condition, lower mileage, and a year newer for less than $1,000 dollars more. However, they assured me they're below market value. I trusted them and made the purchase only to find out i've been scammed and over paid according to the same vehicle being sold at other dealership and looking up Kelley Blue Book value and Carfax value. This dealership needs to fix themselves.. they screwed me over telling me my car would be fixed before taking it off the lot and never did, took it to Florida dealership and they were actually trying to help me but the kings kia went off on them and were rude to the other dealership because they knew they were in the wrong , they specifically kept my car for 3 days so I couldn't take it back to them I don't recommend buying a car or doing anything with this dealership they are horrible!!!! A trash dealership full of deceitful liars , I bought a use car here and they told me it had never been in an accident then after a couple months go by the sunroof ( or so I thought at the time) was leaking and I took it to the dealership they told me something had to be cleaned and then tried to charge me for it even though the car was under warranty but I made them do it free of charge , and after they did that I thought the problem was solved but nope as soon as I rained again more water coming through the roof I told them about it they looked at the car and they couldn't figure it out so now I just decided to only drive the car when raining if I absolutely have to , and now we are a couple months down the road and I'm getting a remote start put in my car in the guy installing my remote start gives me a call and asked me to come into the shop, And once I arrive he's like I have something to show you in my front windshield at the top driver side corner is not connected to the vehicle and that's where the rain has been coming from the whole time so then from there I do a car fax it turns out vehicle was actually in an auto accident and when they replace the windshield they didn't fasten it properly. So I go into the dealership and complain and tell them and they say sorry there's nothing we can do about it ,this place is just a bunch of trash scum bags trying to steal your money end of story read more

I arrived for my first service appointment today at Kings Kia. It was a 7,500 mile service so, without neon lights blinking, the service advisor could have figured out that this was my first interaction with KK Service. Upon arrival, a man asked for my key and walked away. A service advisor called from behind his poorly constructed plexiglass shield, "last name?". Not making eye contact, he proceeded to read the service tasks that I had requested. Printed a paper and asked me to sign for the work to be completed. By the way, not one person in the service receiving area, there were three, were wearing their mask properly...two didn't even have a mask on their face. We are at 10 minutes into the transaction and no one said, "Good Morning" or "I see this is your first service on your new car, thank you for choosing Kings Kia for all your service needs. We will take good care of you today." "Is there anything you need while you wait for your car?" "Do you know how to get to our customer lobby/waiting area?" Nothing. Wham Bam and not even a thank you m'am. Basic customer service skills, courteous interaction skills, attentiveness are all lacking. I don't even know the service writers name, how sad is that. I do love my car but, I am underwhelmed and dissatisfied with the service department thus far. This does not make for a loyal and long term relationship. And all dealers rely on the service department to make money for them. I think I will find another option. Buying a car from here was easy. Horrible dealership to deal with especially the Service Dept or should I say Non-Service. We had an issue with our Kia Sorento of the headlights would without warning just shutoff while driving. Kia issued a warranty extension for this problem and said if it had happened contact the dealer and have the multifunction switch lever replaced (Turn signal / Headlight selector lever). I called Kings Kia in early Nov 2023 and was told the first available appt. to have this replaced was Jan 4, 2024.....Really?? Ok so they knew the switch lever needed replaced so we waited. Today is Jan 4 and the car has been over there for service since 8 AM today. Just picked it up at 4 PM (so 8 hours later) when they called saying it was ready. Work to be done was replace the switch lever and wash the car. Just picked up....no parts available and car not washed !! So after waiting 8 weeks for repairs I am without my car all day and NONE of the scheduled work was done !! I am beyond angry. How do you screw this up so bad and then not even a "Sorry". Now they want me to bring it back again when they have the parts....another day without my car. Stay away from this dealer and its easy to see why they only have 2 1/2 stars. read more

Recently moved from Chicago and had to get a new car due to lack of public transit here in Cincy. Parker was a HUGE help in our search for a beautiful 2017 Kia Sportage which we leased. He wasn't pushy but make sure you do your research because he will not tell you best practices when leasing. Rob the Sales Manager came over and greeted us. Very Italian and nice. Free oil changes but service department needs some work. You can negotiate more than you think before with sales and finance person. Never take the first deal and know where you want to land and don't take no for an answer. If they want you, they will keep you (within means). read more

He played the games that make everyone hate car shopping. I will actually never shop at any of the Kings dealerships because of THIS guy. I wish I remember his name so I could call him out. They checked my Jeep Liberty for trade in value and he came back and told us- the brakes are gone, the engine makes noise and they could only give us 1000 for it. Ok, this vehicle had NONE of that- it was very clean and well taken care of. NEW brakes! He was full of and it was a full on fear tactic to lowball us.. I turned around the next day and sold the vehicle for 6x more than he offered me to a mechanic who said this vehicle was the cleanest he has seen in a long time. (Cal car in Ohio) I'll take that man's word for it over this manager and his lack of vehicle knowledge or his abundance of crap! So, another red flag to stay away from here. Kia advertises itself on having one of the best warranties in the biz. Be very wary of dealing with this particular dealership. We have a leased Kia with Kings Kia that is literally only 1 year old. The car is now currently completely disabled with $3000 in damage due to what they claim to be bald tires. Oddly, they're not claiming the tires went bad due faulty tires (in which case we would take a look at the tire warranty - Kia's warranty doesn't cover tires which is fine - that's what the warranty says). Instead, they speculate that the tires went bald due to a possible alignment issue. Wouldn't an alignment issue be covered by their awesome warranty? They claim that it is not. Is there some kind of sensor indicating the car is out of alignment? Nope. Not one that alerted us. So here's the deal: 1) Kia sold us a brand new car with bad alignment or one that has a tendency to develop bad alignment very quickly OR 2) Kia sold us a brand new car with bad tires or tires that have a tendency to develop bald tires very quickly In any event, Kia refuses to help with any warranty claim. Their service agent seemed quite prepared to deny any such motion in a warranty direction...Again, this car is 1 year old...Nobody is going to buy a Kia Sportage to go drag racing. It's a value brand soccer mom car. You take it to pick up the kids and get groceries...The car has been kept entirely in the ECO setting (possibly verifiable by sensors if they track this data) indicating we weren't attempting to perform high speed maneuvers or such nonsense that would wear down the tires prematurely. It has me wondering if service techs have a quota to deny claims? Currently we're gathering data on the situation to see how to proceed further. I've never heard of someone leasing a vehicle and the leasing company not trying to help get the car back up and running with assisting you at every turn. I mean, it's a leased vehicle. They're going to get the car back eventually. It's in their own best interest to get the car in good shape and keep the customer happy (so that the customer eventually buys the car). Why on earth would we buy the car at this point? The car is bad and the warranty (they claim) is useless. I literally had my car break down on the way to a scheduled service appointment, but the service staff refused to examine it and I have been waiting over a week for the car to looked at for the first time. That said, Kings Kia refuses to open it's service dept. on Saturdays, and had ZERO loaner vehicles available-despite obviously being a car dealership. Took my daughters car in for oil leaking into the engine which they said was on a recall. After having it all day we picked it back up and they stated it was fixed. Two weeks later, again was leaking into the engine so we brought it back int at which time they kept the car for 2 days and then proceed to tell her they could not find what was wrong and was unable to fix it. They told her they could run a diagnostic but it would cost her over $600. The service rep then proceeds to tell her that "she could just add oil herself every couple of week and that he doesn't suggest doing the diagnostics since it probably wouldn't tell them anything anyway. He suggests that she just drive it until the engine blows and that way it would be covered since it currently was no longer under warranty"! Who the hell says that and expects someone to believe it? I guess he thought since she was a female that she was too stupid know that that was a dumb thing to say or suggest. I have called at least 10 times and left at least 10 messages for the service department since then and still have not heard back from anyone!! I ended up taking it someplace else and they were able to immediately find out the problem and fix it when someone at your KIA service department was unable to find out the problem with a KIA vehicle. Never, will I deal with this place again and I will NEVER buy another Kia after all this hassle. Had already had an issue the previous year with a door handle that broke and was nightmare getting the service dept to repair but thought I would give them one more chance, obviously that was a mistake and will not happen again!!! read more

This was the first dealership I sat down at to work on some numbers, and was seriously ready to leave that night in my new car... The Car Dealership Gods thought something else... Dave was nice enough, didn't tag along on the test drive, listened to what we liked and didn't like, and was knowledgeable enough. We sat down to work numbers and after he got all our information and went to the financing office, we sat there in his cubicle for over 45 minutes!! with not even a "this is taking a bit" or a check back to see how we were doing.. nothing. We just sat and sat, and I'm pretty sure we could have left and no one would have noticed. What I did notice as i went out to the car to grab my purse and a water bottle, was that he was sitting down to paperwork with some other guy!! If he was coming back that's great, you don't have to hold their hand through paperwork all the time. Get a manager to help out Jeez.... I would have given this place a straight up 2 or 3 stars, but the fact that when he finally got back to me with the payment the next evening, the payment was $40 more a month than what i figured it out to be based off the sticker price, before trade-ins, down payment, and rebate! Tax and title are not $40 a month more for 6 years buddy. I told him I needed to be a lot lower than that and to get back to me... that was 2 weeks ago. Still nothing... read more

Beware if you buy a used car from this dealer. Bought a Turbo charged BMW and the turbo blew up in two days and 200 miles. Took it back and they said it was run way too hard!!! And blamed it on us. Of course it was ready to blow up when we bought it. They pushed a 40000 mile $3500 warranty so hard we thought we would choke!! That should had been a clue but we passed. Of course that would not of paid for a turbo anyway!! Have your mechanic look at the vehicle before you buy anything used from them!! Could save you a lot of money. Our sales man's name was Calvin and he took great care to.not only make sure all.of our needs were met but even after the deal was done, he introduced us to the service department, scheduled our first oil change and even went out to our new car with some detailing spray and buffed out a couple finger prints left by the detailers! We went in looked at color options and built to different trim level, with the help of Chris the other car salesman. We wanted to go home and think about it, they said when ever you are ready to order just call us. A couple days later I called to order a Forte Gt line. Zach said I need your address and I will need to call you back. When he called back he said sorry we can't order you a car for you, you live more than 30 miles from our dealership. Not one time when we was there did anyone say you need to live 30 miles or less to sell you a car. My husband called to talk to the sales manager and he said I can't order you one or sell you one if it was on our lot today, by the way we live 60 miles away from Kings And they wouldn't sell a car to us, people do not waste your time at this place. Saw the car online listed went in to drive it and it was 3000 less then it was marked online so that's what really helped lol. Alec the sales men was great and knew what he was talking about. Good sense of hummer. Felt like I was buying a car from my self. The finance guy was nice enough and did his best to get my to buy all the extras. But I declined. He was not happy but I had the car I wanted cheaper then I thought it was gunna be. He even got my a lower interest rate then my own bank. read more

I've had mixed experiences with this dealership, some good , some not so good. First experience was with Scott several years ago when I purchased my first Sorrento from them. I had never leased before and he was excellent at explaining the process and it was easy sailing, it was a great experience . A few months ago my lease was due up so we went in to Kings Kia to see what our options were , this time we dealt with AJ, what a jack ass. Didn't listen to our needs, pushed what he wanted to sell and was so over bearing, it wasn't like our first experience and all. In the end I found what I wanted to buy after looking through their inventory outside. I knew that the vehicle fitted in my budget but he was playing games with the deal so I said ok I'm done , I got up to leave and he said wait a minute let me see what I can do....that old trick. I'm a straight up person, give me your best deal but don't jack me about. It took way too long to get the deal done, but eventually I got the price I wanted to pay, but too many games for my liking. I love my new car but I'm not sure I will use them again a third time, my time is precious and as a returning customer don't mess me about. With regards to their service team, they are excellent, good service very quick and easy. I had a problem with the new Kia, no problems in getting a quick appointment and the issue was dealt with professionally and they made great apologies for the fact I had to return the vehicle. During my car buying experience I asked many questions and received very good answers and a lot of patience from this dealership. The used car manager, Brian, was very knowledgeable, helpful and kind. Alec Conway was my salesman and he did a great job answering my questions, making me feel comfortable (no pressure at all) and assuring me he was not out to sell me a bad car. He even drove the car up to me from Cincinnati to Columbus so that I could take it for a test drive! Although, I am still unsure how their mechanics did not notice the exhaust or power steering leaks (which I noticed the night I got home from the dealership) during their 180 point inspection. But, I did contact Brian and he paid the bill for my exhaust part replacement at the Midas in Maineville. The power steering issue is covered by my warranty, which Brian also gave me a very good deal on. ($500 for 2 year/24,000 mile warranty on most major issues, minus the exhaust system). So, while I will be paying a $100 deductible for each power steering part, I am still a very happy customer and glad that the exhaust problem was handled very quickly and free of charge. Overall, I am extremely happy with my 2008 Subaru outback. Other than the 2 issues mentioned, my vehicle is in great condition, drives nice, was sold to me with brand new tires, and is exactly what I was looking for. read more
