The pizza and food is so good here, my wife and I are willing to drive 45 minutes to eat here. The pizza here is the closest to New York quality pizza we have found since moving to Central Pa. from NYC/ N.J. The dishes are excellent and very generous. We always have leftovers to bring home and enjoy a second time. Prices are reasonable and the service is fast and friendly, as well as being well staffed. The dining area is spacious offering booths and table. Each table and booth can sit anywhere from 4-6 people. There is also a small bar offering wines and beer. The dining area and restrooms are clean. I highly recommend this restaurant for pizza lovers as well for delicious Italian dishes. read more

I usually go to Kings in Hedgesville, but Ive been to Falling Waters, Inwood locations. These folks serve LARGE portions and the quality of the food, altho slightly different in each location, rivals neighborhood Italian restaurants in the DC area. Prices have risen lately but not bad. The food is always so so good with excellent portions. We have never had bad service there. It's a calm atmosphere where you can actually put your phones down and have a conversation. This is one of my favorite establishments to stop and grab a bite to eat when traveling from NYC heading down South and vice versa. It's like a treat on the road for a slice of pizza as well as dining at Kings New York Pizza after several hours on the road. The food here does not disappoint. Taken food on the run/go. Pizza fresh and hot. Ordered and picked up food from the hotel. Food was piping hot and delicious. Dined at the restaurant. Wait staff was friendly, polite as well as checks in on you. Good service. They out of coffee. Made fresh pot for us. We came one hour before closing. Prices are reasonable and entrees can be shared. We live nearby and love this place. They always give us a big enough serving for two meals. Their garlic bows are the best.

This pizza was very good! I got a cheese slice, they put a lot of cheese on their pizza which is totally fine by me. My husband got the pepperoni roll which he loved and said there was a lot of cheese on it as well. We also got the garlic bows as they were called which were loaded with garlic but pretty good. This place is pretty expensive but tasted really good. The service was very fast too! We got it to go so we didn't really pay attention to the inside of the place. The only critique was the girl answering the phone and at the pickup counter correcting me on how to pronounce my name twice. We ordered takeout from King's off the highway when driving home after traveling for the weekend. The restaurant was clean, and the staff was friendly. Within 20 minutes or ordering, we had a very large hot and ready pizza to go. The pizza was tasty and pretty cheesy (a little too cheesy). We had to wait for a bit to let the cheese set on the pizza. It wasn't the most flavorful pizza we've ever had but was still a great option for some off the highway pizza. read more

Very much enjoyed the meal. Only thing I would say is the food is heavy and tasty. A lot of cream and cheese in almost everything which made it heavy, but it was very tasty. Nice and clean little spot so when driving for a longer time. This was a nice little cozy spot to stop. read more

The food is good. I get food here every few weeks. Normally the staff is very friendly, but not today. The cashier was absolutely rude, multiple times. I ask for the manager to explain how I was treated. I told the manager if I ever see this cashier again, I'll leave and won't ever come back. More like 3.5 stars. Don't use the Yelp directions (a feature I love, BTW) - the GPS took us to a dead end street in a residential neighborhood. Once we plugged the address to the Food Lion in, we got there easily. First impression - it's a beautiful space. Very clean and decorated well. It was a bit of a roller coaster after that. Hubby ordered a beer - domestic, simple. Server advised "we don't have that, we're out. I know it's on the picture, but we don't have any." Ok, no worries he ordered a different one. The kid orders an orange slice. She looks at us like we've lost it. So I repeated it and showed her on the menu. Her reply? "I don't know why that's on the menu, we've never had that." Ok. Sprite it is. We ordered our meals - the menu is standard Italian fare and we ordered a slice of cheese pizza to go along, because hey, how else can you evaluate a place like this? Hubby was thrilled they had French dressing for the salads and the server commented to ask if it was hard to find. I only mention this conversation, because sure enough, she brought ranch. Oh well. He ate the ranch. The bread is phenomenal. I read that they make their own. Crusty on the outside, soft on the inside - awesome. The olive oil dipping sauce was lovely. The salads were good and super fresh. You would think that a place that makes its own bread would attempt to make salad dressings as well, but alas, Ken's packets came to the table. You know, the take out kind. My manicotti and Hubby's stuffed shells were done well. Nicely stuffed with ricotta (they don't cheap out and under fill their pasta like some places do), covered in a flavorful sauce and melted mozzarella. The kid's spaghetti with meat sauce (adult size, because we've sadly outgrown kid's menu portions) was ok, though a little watery. The pizza slice was good - the crust nice and chewy and the sauce was slightly sweet, the way I like it. It would definitely be worth ordering a whole pie on another visit. For those prices to be justified the food needs to be outstanding and unfortunately Kings food just doesn't match the pricing any more. 7 December 2013: Tony and I dined at King's Pizza for lunch. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food. I guess I went in with "Kkay, shopping plaza restaurant food" but came out with WOW, wonderful NY style pizza!! The manager, Salvatore, stopped at our table to greet us and offered us some fresh baked bread. They sell loaves of bread at a very reasonable price, which I wish we had bought some. It was fabulous! The dipping sauce that came with the bread was flavorful. We always ask for fried eggplant on our pizza even though it's typically not on any menu. We also had sausage. We ordered the medium, which when it arrived, I thought it was a large!! It was huge! It was excellent, although a little too much cheese for me. The pizza was very good with a nice crust, and I could imagine an excellent eggplant parmesan. The egglant is cut thick with a nice batter. Prices are reasoanble and the menu is filled with standard Italian dishes. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. The other staff members seemed friendly too. I always loved this restaurant, went there about twice a month till we went and were seated near front of window in dinning room. It was loaded with bugs, flying all around our heads into our food crawling in and out of our bread. I was so angry and told them about it, we paid for an expensive meal could not eat it or even able to eat bread and dip in olive oil with seasonings. I left in a huff. I will never go back To that restaurant again, I tell everyone about our experience there. It was just terrible. Why don't u get an exterminator in stead of putting up Bug zappers on the wall.
