On a long vacation weekend. Saw on Yelp this was a good place to go for price. I had cheese pizza my husband had the pepperoni. The crust is thin, NY style. The sauce was mild,generous with the cheese. The crust does soften up quickly. Greasy but that's expected from the toppings. I loved the garlic sauce brushed on edge of crust. The place was 45 seconds from hotel. Seating is minimal but they do have outdoor seating so it expands the availability of tables. The prices are higher than we are use to but it is in prime location for tourists. I would recommend the place if you like the NY style. The garlic knots looked really good ! Totally surprised! Ordered this pizza and waited next door on a Saturday night while it cooked. Brought it back to my hotel room and it was DELICIOUS. We ate more than we even planned to. I will say, if you are ranch and pizza person, order ranch on the side because it does take the crust to a whole new level. One of my friends was not in the mood for seafood making this decision in a coastal town a little (or a lot) more difficult. Eventually we found Kings Pizza, a small, quaint Italian restaurant. We decided to share a meat lovers pizza. The place is pretty small but with indoor and outdoor seating there were plenty of options. Our pizza was ready in about 20 minutes. And OMG what a cheesy, meaty, gooey and oily heavenly experience it was. Since this was a cooler day. The hot pizza definitely hit the spot. This is delicious pizza. It reminds me of the pizza you can get in Chugiak, Alaska's Bella Vista Restaurant. I took one star off because the bathroom was absolutely disgusting and because the chef came out and smoked near the patrons as they ate their food, which really was disrespectful of those with allergies and asthma. The pepperoni pizza was great! Very tasty and crispy! I did however have an unfortunate experience with a cook. I accidentally took a medium pepperoni pizza instead of our large pep. Our server asked if we received the correct pizza and since I truly thought I did, I told him yes. When I realized it was a medium and not a large I ran in to tell the server. Told him to give our large to the table that order a medium since it was my mistake. The cook started yelling at me since I took the wrong one and complaining to me about making a new one for the other table. I apologized again and walked out with him still fussing in the back. The server was great and offered us garlic knots to remedy the situation but I was upset and couldn't eat so we boxed up our pizza and left. Three stars bc the pizza and server were excellent but the cook handled the situation very poorly. read more

Everywhere else within walking distance seems somewhat overpriced, always fried (and I like my share of fried food) and not that great. Kings was fast, cheap, and delicious. You will regret it if you don't end up coming here! The staff are super friendly and make you feel welcomed. My friends and I (3 of us total) we ended up getting an X-Large pizza which was the perfect size! We ended up having 2 slices left over to just eat the next day if we wanted. Blown away! We decided to give this place a shot and let me tell you, it was unbelievably delicious. It's a small and cozy little spot so we weren't sure how it'd turn out. We were left in awe, I haven't had a meal this satisfying in awhile. If you're in the area don't skip this spot. We ordered the large Stromboli and the Stuffed Shells. The Stromboli was huge. It was stuffed with tons of cheese, pepperoni, sausage and sauce. The bread was crispy on the outside and flaky soft on the inside. The marinara sauce on the side was perfect for dipping. The stuffed shells were so good. They were served in a cheesy tomato sauce and also huge. The cheese stuffed inside had a good texture and was very tasty on its own. Came here with honey after a long day at the beach. The place was small and crowded. We did the two slice lunch special. Honey says it was overpriced for the quality of the pizza.
