The worst company I've ever dealt with. My water heater broke and my home warranty stuck me with them. They will ignore your calls and they can't ever get reached. Tried calling different times on different days too. Anything just to get someone to talk. Never picked up. They don't communicate with the home warranty company and the lack of initiation to get anything done is forced to be done by the client. The client would have to beg the home warranty and plumber to communicate with each other to resolve the discrepancy of information. For example, they went back and forth about who should be the one to order the part needed for the water heater. It was so unprofessional, it felt like working with children. Plumber says home warranty should buy it. Home warranty says plumber buys it. Guess who is the messenger going back and forth on these two parties? Me. Let's put it this way. Three weeks goes by since the case was opened and the part still has not been ordered yet. Why am I having to check on their work only to find out that the part still wasn't even ordered yet and no courtesy call with a status update? I felt like I had to micromanage them because they could care less to get the work done. One month to have them do one thing - order the part - is ridiculous. Frustrating. Decided to get a cash out from the home warranty company and found another plumbing company who actually picks up and calls back. Called the other plumbing company and they were able to replace the water heater and even upgraded the water heater to the more expensive version at no extra charge. We needed our shower valve replaced. Our home warranty sent our Kings Plumbing. There was a breakdown in communication between them and the home warranty. The guy couldn't do the job since we are in a condo and we needed to schedule (and pay) another plumber to come out to shut the water off. Took me a few weeks to coordinate the other plumber to come out. Then kings stopped coordinating with me and lied to the warranty company that they finished the job. But the NEVER did any work. We made an appointment , he called before he came to give me a lead time on his arrival. He came to the property on time , inspected everything and said he would give me an email that afternoon with the quote. That was great, and that's where great stopped. I never got the quote the first day, nor the second, nor the third day. I followed up 3 times. He followed up after the 3rd time and said he would definitely send it and never did. We recently tore out our gas appliances and replaced them with electric. We hired Kings Plumbing to cap our gas lines and install a new electric water heater. I called over a dozen plumbers for quotes, and Edi set himself apart quickly with his level of punctuality and dependability. I had spent over a week hounding other plumbers for quotes. Half of them didn't answer the phone. Most of them showed up late for meetings and promised a quote within 48 hours that materialized late or never. When I called Edi, he was able to schedule an onsite meeting for the next day which he then showed up to on time. He gave me a quote on the spot that was near or below what I received from all of the other plumbers I talked to. He was able to start a few days after that and the work was finished within a day. I am very satisfied with the work that was done and appreciative of Edi's level of customer service. From the moment he contacted me over the phone to meeting up for service you can sense his calm warm spirit. He is so easy to talk t.. I ask 15k questions and each one he answered and when i didn't understand he drew me a picture :) Most of all what I appreciated about his service is that I didn't feel like I was getting "hustled" over every little thing. Unfortunately my sewer is one in a million and instead of doing half the job and having me pay the price he called and told me what happened after he hydrojeted the lines and we changed the plan which stressed me out because I didn't want to have to pay for the whole thing again next time he came out.. This is hands down the worst, most unprofessional experience I have ever had with a plumber (Charles), and worst follow-up with Ed, the owner of the company. Long story shortened a bit: Charles came out to service a backed-up, slow-draining shower. He spent 5 minutes snaking the drain with a 25 foot line, then insisted it could not be cleared that way. The report back to the home warranty company (which took 5 DAYS!) stated that the repair could not be done, that the clean-out was "not accessible" (it is, there's one right next to the crawl space entrance) and therefore the issue would not be covered by my home warranty company. As a result I spent hours on the phone with the home warranty company, debating this topic, escalating the issue. In the mean time, the Plumber texted my tenant a photo of the clean-out and told HIM what to do, and I quote: " GET SOMETHING 18 INCHES LONG AND JUST SHOVE IT IN AND OUT AND YOU SHOULD BE FINE." Meanwhile Ed insisted to me they'd need to cut open the pipe below the house, because the clean-out was "corroded." He accused me of telling him how to do his job, at the suggestion of a more diligent plumber OR an attempt to just actually use one of TWO clean outs--there's also one outside. Ed said he would put together an estimate for fixing it HIS way, and get back to me the same day. He never called. I called the next day to see what his estimate would be. Left a VM. No call back. VM again. Next day, no call back. Still no call back, ever. FIVE MORE DAYS later after I spent hours and hours on the phone with multiple Home Warranty agents who believed ED's BS, a home warranty supervisor finally agreed to send out another plumber for a second opinion. 48 hours later the second plumber easily cleared the line with a snake that was simply, a little longer... So, NO THANKS to ED and everyone at KINGS PLUMBING, it took me endless hours on the phone and cost my poor tenant almost two weeks without a shower! The customer reviews in Sept and Dec of 2021 say the same thing: Horrible. I would avoid this company at all cost! read more

Just avoid the service if you have a home warranty. Or for any job for that matter. They came to give me a quote on another job. They offered me a free water heater replacement that was covered under my home warranty. Didn't cost me a thing until I realized 7 months later that they're job was not up to the code for where I live, they never pulled a permit for the water heater replacement and left the pressure valve out in the open. (ready to throw boiling water on anyone unlucky enough to walk by) Checked with them and they flat out told me they had to cut some corners to make a profit as the warranty jobs were not paid well. Gave them time and a chances to fix there mistake. Waited patiently and then a few months went by and again nothing. They finally sent a person to fix a minor job, replacing the exhaust pipe over the water heater as it was too close the roof and it was old. The person that came made a half assed job and gave me a new higher quote for the remaining work. I noticed that the guy did not even bother to tighten the new exhaust pipes well. Some strong winds later and this is a picture of their "fixing a mistake work looks like" (before the old pipe and the new shiny exhaust pipes.)As a new homeowner I guess I was not ready to shop for plumbers or any other maintenance service people . So here is some advice for new homeowners or just in general anyone looking into hiring service people. Do your Due diligence on codes, permits, and especially workmanship. These guys let me down time and time again. If it wasn't for a customer service guy I kept speaking to that was atleast honest about being dishonest about the work I would rate them zero stars. The one star is for that guy that gave me hope that they would fix the job. Anyway, I will be submitting a complaint on this company to all state and local licensing organizations. And will find real plumbers for the job as well. read more

This company came out they were professional, quick, came with the correct tools, and fixed the issue. I will only be requesting kings plumbing and rooter for now on.
