Grouper dinner
Eddie H.

Very disappointed with our visit. Came in with two elderly people and sat inside. Service was terrible. Bartender and waitress didn't work for us. Waited an hour for the food. French fries were cold but the sandwich was done perfect. I wonder if service inside is worse. We usually eat outside and never had this kind of service. It's now 8:30pm and trying to pay my bill plus it's empty now inside. I love the Fish Reuben here but with cold fries wasn't a good combination. If this review was on service it would be 1 star.

Rock shrimp

We had paella and rock shrimp dinners also had the shrimp and crab dip appetizer with chips. Everything was warm tasted very good. Had a good flavor. We had a very large crowd last moment and our waiter is probably the best waitress I have ever had. She handled a large crowd flawlessly. The place was pretty quiet until we got there. We had lots of fun and would definitely return. We were inside and outside they were playing lots of live music and it sounded wonderful. My fiancé and I were drinking painkillers which I didn't see on the menu, but our waitress said that she could make them for us while I'm here to tell you they were excellent and I highly recommend them. The view outside was excellent. We solved dolphins in the water. The sunset was incredible. I recommend this as a spot to visit.

Trigger fish piccata

We had a good meal at Off the Hook. The house smoked brisket was great and served in a taco worked well. The trigger fish was cooked perfectly and seasoned just enough so it was not too spicy. Our waitress was great and was there right when we needed her. My only criticism is that the hostess was moving a bit slow and had an attitude. There were at least 6 clean tables open, no line, and she was very slow to get people seated. The band was good and was at a great volume to create a good energy but still allow people to enjoy their conversations.

Used to be my favorite place. Food was SO late (about an hour to get our food) and cold. We had a party of 8 on an early Thursday 5:00 pm sitting. Party of 10 came in 30 min after us and got served way ahead of us. Same thing for another party of four after us getting served way first. Then the real kicker was the automatic tip of 24+% on our bill already included - you might not see it (if you don't calculate it yourself you would never know it's 24%). Waiter was just fine but not an automatic 24% fine! Then an additional 3% if you use a credit card. Manager knocked 15% off our bill for the slow service and gave us some extra warm fries (too late), but that didn't really fix things, especially my cold and tiny grouper sandwich that I didn't eat. Used to eat there a lot because my boat was right there and we used to like it. Going to have to cross it off the list.

House Salad with Grouper

I loved the patio and island vibes at this restaurant! The menu had good variety, I got the House Salad with Grouper on top which was tasty. If you sit on the patio, WATCH OUT FOR NO SEE UMS. They will get you- bring bug spray!!! The patio was attached to a dock which was fun for my 1.5 year old to see some fish and even a turtle! Fun times.

Tacos with Blackened Shrimp, and Coleslaw

We stopped in for a late lunch and really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere overlooking the inlet--it was the perfect spot to unwind. The service was friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. We tried the crab and shrimp dip, which was definitely different than expected--it had more of a chowder-like consistency--but the flavor was great and surprisingly comforting. The salsa was on the runnier side and had a unique sweetness to it, which added an interesting twist. All in all, it was a pleasant meal with a beautiful view. A nice little gem if you're looking for good service, something a bit different, and a peaceful spot by the water!

Live music setting up

Recently went to grab a cocktail and drinks as a peaceful end to a great day at the beach. We came in around 4 and were seated quickly out back by the water. We were greeted quickly and shown the specials for the day. The waited had little ideas about what to get and the beer options were slim beyond regular colors light or miller light and the like. He made no other drink suggestions and we never saw a drink menu, which I thought was very odd because they are a waterside bar and restaurant. Our drinks were cold, the calamari and fish tacos were good, so we were overall happy. The nice surprise was the live music. Two ladies set up and we actually stayed longer to listen. Very very enjoyable and talented ladies!

Shrimp tacos

Great food, service and views! We started with corn fritters, they were very good! Our party had the burger, fried fish basket and shrimp tacos. All were cooked perfectly and delicious! Our server was very kind and attentive. Highly recommend

95 and Vine - Wine Description: Italy, Fruity, Light, Medium Sweet, Low Alcohol

Let me start with this: I do not like wine…read more I've tried for years. I've ordered it at dinners, events, girls' nights... and I've rarely even been able to finish a glass. That's how much I typically dislike the taste. My preference? Sweet and fruity. Think Jolly Rancher candy. The only exception I've ever found was Ice Wine, which is rarely carried in restaurants or wine bars. So when we attended a work event here, I was honestly looking forward to the company more than the drinks. But I decided to be honest with our waitress. I told her I don't like dry wine, I prefer sweet, and asked if she had any recommendations. She introduced me to Sangue Di Giuda (Italy -- fruity, light, medium sweet, low alcohol)... and for the first time ever, I found a wine I genuinely enjoyed. I could actually sip it without making a face. At around $8 a glass, it felt very reasonable. They also offer full bottles for purchase, which I love as an option if you find something you enjoy. Beyond the wine, the atmosphere makes this place special. It's warm, relaxed, and perfect for conversation. It feels elevated without being stuffy -- the kind of place where you can linger and talk without feeling rushed. So this review is for two groups: * Wine lovers looking for a great experience * And the "I don't like wine but I'm here anyway" crowd Be honest about what you like. Let the staff guide you. You might surprise yourself like I did. We'll absolutely be back -- and yes, I'll be ordering the same glass again. Bonus: It's located in a plaza with great dinner options, so you can easily turn it into a full night out. We grabbed Greek food next door afterwards, and there's also Bronx House pizza at the end of the plaza if that's more your vibe (both are delicious!). Makes planning easy.

I have come here a few times for their wine tastings and really enjoy it. The staff and owner are…read morealways super friendly and there always seem to be a good amount of regulars. The wine tastings are Thursday 5-7 and do not disappoint it's a great way to try new wines and they give you a discount on bottles of the wines sampled that night. The ambiance is warm and inviting and the music is just the right genre/volume so you are still able to chat and catch up while sipping. This is a great one stop shop for premier wines - we have come in a few times and told them our favorite notes/food it's going with and they help you find the perfect bottle. Highly recommend!

Every time I am in town I eat here at least 2 times, if not more. Amazing space, positive and happy employees, amazing service. My most recent visit was 5/24/26. Our server was Kaley and what a doll! On her game the entire time we were dining. We had great conversations with her and she was professional and attentive. She recognized us from prior visits and acknowledged that, which is a sign of true professionalism. The food is always enjoyable. I had a lobster roll on this day and it was great. Will always come here while in New Smyrna Beach. As a matter of fact, my daughter will be celebrating a huge life moment here at the end of June, her choice. It's going to be epic and another fabulous time will be had by all. Cannot wait!!!

Visited on an early Thursday evening and this place was busy with an hour wait. I'm not sure if…read morethis is the typical wait because there was an event happening on the street. We sat at the outdoor bar ordered some happy hour drinks which they offer $5 margaritas and $6 house wines all day, every day. Nick was extremely tentative and even provided us with waters without us having to request it. The $6 wine pours come in a large sized glass and the size pour was decent! Once seated at our table we were served by Bri and she made some good recommendations. For apps we had the Cuban candy as an app and it was a huge hit at our table. On Thursdays they do a "prime rib special" which isn't really a special as far as pricing instead it is more so a special that is offered only on Thursdays for $44. 2 people from my party ordered it and they were satisfied. I ordered the chimichurri chicken sandwich which is a new menu item. The portion size of the chicken was good, however, the chimichurri / sauce seemed to lack. Also I wasn't a huge fan of their house sweet potato chips, they weren't bad, they were just okay, however, I would opt to have French fries next time. As far as ambiance, the inside is quite small which I got worried about sound and talking amongst my party but that wasn't an issue. They don't seem to take reservations unless your party is of 6 or more.
