I decided to come here based on the high reviews of yelp and other websites. I decided on a whim to stop by as a walk-in and they took me right away. Even with scheduled appointments I was still able to relax and enjoy what they have to offer. Clean and very tranquil. The service itself was more than relaxing; it was like being in another state of mind. I'm on my feet a lot so I really didn't know how sore they were until after I walked out of there feeling like I got a pair of brand new ones. First the Pros: Easy street parking. Easy online self schedule on website. Open on Sundays with flexible hours throughout the week. I got a same day appointment. Simple, no frills. No cucumber water or Green tea in site. Some unexpected nice touches: temple massage, hot towels, toe stretch. The Cons: I doubt that my masseuse was licenced. I doubt any are. Masseuse barely spoke English: ok? too hard? Masseuse climbed up on table at one point. Became worried to the amount of time spent on my spine without accredited licensing. Really didnt work out/on the knots that have been plaguing me. No frills oils: used Curiel (!) for the rub and Target hand sanitizer. Not especially relaxing: half way in, a fan blower came on overhead, virtually louder than the ambient music. Never got to that complete droll of massage bliss. Why go? Great for a spur of the moment/day massage. The biggest plus. I've definitely had a better user experience elsewhere. Not the bargain other Yelpers have indicated. The place is immaculate, decor is very nice and the people are great. Julie, the owner was warm and accommodating, and the guy who gave me a massage (Oscar) was really nice and gave a great massage. They are running some specials now, and we decided to go with the $45 massage - 30 min foot and 30 min head/back/shoulders. It was so relaxing and felt so good, that after we were done, I wished it would have continued for another couple hours! Having been to a few other foot reflexology places in Chicago, I appreciated that Kingston Reflexology was just a step above the others. Instead of one large room, there are smaller rooms. The towels and lotion are higher quality, the reflexologists took a little more time with us, and I felt like it was overall a more enjoyable experience. Omg, my experience at this place was AMAZING!!! I called on a Friday night and asked if they had any availability for that same day. The woman on the phone told me she could accommodate me right away. I got the 90 minute Swedish massage. I asked specifically for a female masseuse and they immediately moved some things around to make it happen. The massage itself was like no other- the masseuse was on top of me at various points throughout the massage and used her legs, arms and hands to hit every pressure point on my body. The place is clean, they are easy to get a hold of, and the pricing was very reasonable. Affordable luxury with Acupuncture and Massage...all in one place! MASSAGE: Kingston Reflexology is pretty new in the neighborhood, so I decided to treat myself to an affordable massage. I made an appointment for a Swedish massage and I was very pleased! It is a full Swedish massage (clothes off, modesty preserved with a sheet.) Meg was awesome! She treated my shoulder muscles (where I carry all my stress) as if she had a personal vendetta against them. Again, it was awesome. I went back several times and plan to be a regular. ACUPUNCTURE: After one of my massages, I noticed the announcement that they now offer Acupuncture. I've never had it, but I'm having some issues with stress, diet, weight so I thought I'd give it a go. I talked to the acupuncturist, Eliana, and made an appointment. She spent time taking my history, then talked me through how the acupuncture would go. The treatment was lovely! It was not painful and it relaxed me so much that I couldn't even hold a cup of water! The cravings I had been having decreased. I've had three treatments so far, and I plan to continue. In all, I highly recommend this place. I just want to point out, as other reviewers had, that any noise carries, so speak softly when you enter and tune out the noises during your treatment. read more

For all the fantastic reviews, I was pretty disappointed. The reviews would have you believe this place was incredibly personable, but that was not my experience. We were ushered from the sauna to the massage room without much communication. My masseuse was particularly rough and only spoke to me when to change positions. I had high hopes for this place. Just as I was going to enter, their door was locked. People were inside. Looking at me like I'm crazy. Looking at their hours sign, then my watch, then looking back at them... over and over. There was a woman at the desk. Keep in mind, I had an appointment. Four min later the girls finished paying and tried to walk out. They then unlocked the door after running into it locked. I walk in and told the lady at the desk why their door was locked and she proceeded to tell me she forgot to unlock it after she stepped away to use the restroom. This place is great I have gone now a few times and have seen Candy each time. I ride a motorcycle and generally sit weird when I sleep or write this review for instance haha. I tell her where it hurts and I don't know what she does but I feel amazing afterwards. Very soft yet very strong hands. At first place I bought Groupon deal about 3 months ago. Few days ago I bought the deal on Livingsocial. I made my appointment over the phone mentioned that I have a deal, came to this place and the owner told me that she can not see me, because I am not a "new client".
