The husband was in the background literally yelling. I had to ask her to stop emailing me, in which she continued. I threatened to call the county attorney if she didn't stop. Not only did she NOT stop she had an officer call me to get my side of the story. He then called her to ask her to stop calling me. She is very dishonest. I do not post negative comments unless I feel the public needs to know. No business should ever scream and tag team a customer over nothing. It is on record however. I will NEVER use them again as well as 5 other people I have found in Oldham that feel the same. A good friend had a similar experience with them both. They are fake, not genuine people, it was their unprofessionalism that shocked me. Again, they will respond to this because they are terrified of a bad review, but I must tell others about my experience And share the truth! They have now updated their response FOUR times and is adding personal information about me on here that will likely result in a lawsuit as some should be very confidential. SMH But today Jason with Maeser was at our house within 30 minutes of our call and done with all repairs within the hour! And Maesers cost was less than half of the other company's quote! Not only that Jason was the most respectful kind man and he was obviously very knowledgeable. And he saved us from having to go to a hotel room tonight because we had no water. Jason graciously came in and treated my husband and I with respect and assured us he would take care of everything for us. He put our minds at rest which meant the world to us, especially being seniors. He definitely went above and beyond! Like, the design of the outside fan unit is such that you can remove 3 or 4 screws, and swap these parts out with a screwdriver. Because they require periodic replacement. Avoid Wright Mechanical (Louisville, KY) at All Costs - $4,500 Later and Still No Fix…read more We inherited a York HVAC unit installed in 2020 when we bought our home (installed from Wright Mechanical). It was oversized for the space, but issues didn't start until 2023 -- just three years in -- when it stopped blowing cold air. We called Wright Mechanical to service it. They claimed there was no leak, added 11 lbs of Freon, and charged over $1,000. In 2024, the exact same issue returned. We were confident there was a leak, but they again denied it -- and even suggested our neighbor might be stealing our Freon. They topped it off with another 11 lbs and charged us $1,100. By 2025, surprise: no cold air again. This time we insisted they actually fix the root problem. After a couple hours of unclear troubleshooting, they proposed a dye test (finally) -- for $2,400. This would bring the total to $4,500 paid over three years, with zero resolution. We told them we were moving on to a different company. Their response? A $500 bill for that day's visit, despite being onsite less than two hours and leaving midway. When we asked to speak with a manager, we were told that was "against policy." We called the office to escalate and were told someone would call back. No one ever did. Bottom line: Wright Mechanical charged thousands to temporarily cover up a problem they never actually diagnosed or fixed. They showed no accountability, no urgency, and no real customer service. We're now pursuing small claims court and filing a BBB complaint. Save yourself the stress -- stay far away.

We called Will, and he made time to come out the next evening. He was able to easily diagnose the problem as a blown capacitor and fixed it at a very reasonable price. We were up and running with a working a/c that same night! Will also remembered some of our other ongoing needs, with another aging a/c on our house and issues with our duplex rental. Last summer, I was told I needed to replace my HVAC system before this summer because it uses R-22. Naturally, that was stressful and felt like a huge unexpected expense. When Will came out, he carefully inspected the system and then walked me through the facts. He explained that as long as the unit is working properly, there's no need to replace it just because it uses R-22. He also clarified that refrigerant doesn't need to be added unless there's a leak (contrary to what I had previously been told about it needing regular refills). At no point did he try to upsell me or pressure me into replacing something that still works. Instead, he focused on what was actually necessary and in my best interest. That level of integrity is rare and incredibly appreciated. It's clear he genuinely cares about his customers and values doing the right thing over making a quick sale. I truly can't recommend him highly enough and will absolutely continue to use and refer him in the future.
