Came after work on a Tuesday and the restaurant itself was empty, which was perfect for us to dine in. There were quite a few takeout orders and there seemed to be a relatively steady stream of people coming in to pickup their orders (always a promising sign). I had the kimchi fries and the K town Ramen, which were both delicious! The fries were perfectly crispy and the pulled pork and Kim chi and bbq sauce/sour cream/cheese made for a very tasty combination. The Kim chi seemed like it was roasted/sautéed down, so I wished more of the tangy/spicy kimchi flavors were still apparent, but it was still a great dish regardless. The ramen was also very flavorful, noodles had great texture, and it was the perfect amount of spice. I was driving down Kinderkamack heading towards Hackensack. I was hungry. I needed a snack. Korean fried chicken? That'd be whack. OK all rhyming aside, this place was highly rated on yelp close to my family house in Dumont so I rolled the dice. The wings were amazing. Service was fast super friendly. Chicken was hot, crispy, delicious. I had some kimchi on the side. I scarfed down the wings in about 10 minutes . The food portions and taste are decent, but the price does not feel worth it. I got the soba special and my friend got the bibimbap. They were just, OK. There are no Banchan provided. It seemed like there's no bathroom but I can't confirm. The staff are friendly and seem to know their regulars well. There's a slight discount for using cash instead of card as you can find in most places in Hackensack. You order at the front and there isn't necessarily someone to wait on you. It's a cozy place and I could see this being someone's go to in the area, but driving out a little bit more from the area and there's better Korean dishes for the price. read more

Decor/Food Packaging: This time I ordered for pickup so I was able to get a photo of the interior. Kinyobi is taking their covid measures seriously, so that's good. They have plexi glass up and they only allow 1 customer into the store at a time. Hand sanitizer is available by the card reader so you can sanitize after you pay. And their packaging is great! For some reason, I just love that they tie your bag with a tiny string ribbon. Food: On this visit, I ordered 2 K-Town Ramen and 1 burrito w/fries. My order was missing the rice cakes, but the 2nd order had them so I was able to try the full experience. I ordered my food through Uber Eats, and my only complaint was wishing I'd come in person to try the food. The menu is short and sweet, and everything is delicious. My food came on time, and it was not cold at all. The service is quick, and the lady I spoke to on the phone was really nice. The spicy may just took this to a whole new level. Would 100% recommend. We also both ordered Bibimbap. I got the spicy chicken version and she got the bulgogi. She had really good things to say about the bulgogi. I was obsessed with the spicy chicken. Not crazy spicy but definitely had a kick. With all the toppings, so many different prepared veggies, every bite tasted different and everything was good. The eating area is small but the vibe is great. They have a cute neon sign with their name and the menu is written on a chalkboard at the front for easy takeout. The servings for dinner are huge and we'll worth the price for all the dishes we ordered. They did not skimp out on the protein too. My husband and I were expecting tapas kind of portions and were surprised with how big the bowls and tacos were. My favorite dish was probably the michin dumplings since it felt light and had a good spicy kick, but my husband liked the galbi tacos because it was savory, sweet, juicy, and had some crunch from the veggies. I stopped in for lunch because I was in the mood for ramen. When I arrived I parked on the street nearby. There was a sign that said takeout only so I ordered with a nice lady. I ordered the ugly ramen with no chicken. It took about 10 minutes or so. It came to about $15 with a bottle of water. When I got to the car I ate and it was very different. I am used to ramen with broth and this one didn't have any and it had chipotle mayo. It was good, definitely different but good. Fried Dumplings: This was really tasty and was better than I had expected. Chicken Wings: They give you a finger glove to hold your chicken so you don't get your fingers dirty. While were deciding what to eat, a few customers dropped in to place pick up orders and we can tell they're frequent visitors. She knew about vacation plans and asked about some how of the customers family members were doing. The customer service here is unbeatable. We ordered the beef dumplings, bulgogi rice platter, and the bulgogi burrito. The dumplings weren't greasy at all, even though they were hot out of the fryer. The bulgogi rice platter was extremely flavorful and came with a small side of kimchi and miso soup. There were definitely more vegetables than meat, which were cut very small and mixed into the vegetables, but that didn't bother me much since I was getting full off the dumplings. My fiancé had the burrito, which came with a spicy sauce that he said was addicting. Both came with this purple rice side, which didn't have any distinct flavor other than rice. The korean fried wings were pricey but I figured they were quality so I went for it. 8 piece for $13.86! Damn. I ordered them with the sweet soy sauce instead of the hot flavor. You have two options when ordering. The wings had a good crisp to them and were moist but they lacked flavor. The perfect texture is what stands out here. I coating is not overwhelming either and the chicken flavor really comes through. If only they had a little more flavor! Maybe I will ask for more sauce next time!
