Kiosk coffee shop on LePlaza de Armas OSJ.

THE BEST coffee and chai tea in OSJ. I love the frescas aguas pepino y limon SO refreshing. It's a little oasis on the corner of the busy popular square. Friendly service and cool shade under the foliage and sail tarps.

The coffe here is very good. Customer service is great and prices are affordable . You can come in the day and night. During day I better for parking and during night is more crowded. And if you come on the weekend is more crowded but fun.

We were in Old San Juan for a week and had coffee here almost every morning. They are located in the plaza in town center and have a beautiful covered outdoor seating area surrounded by plants. The coffee and danishes were perfect

The best coffee in the world with the best setting in La Plaza Del Armas.

Im a Flight Attendant and travel extensively. This tiny little hidden gem in Old San Juan is one of my top 10 favorite coffee shops in the whole world. Best coffee, service, and ambiance!

A better place for people watching, you might not find. Located on a corner of the Plaza de Armas, Kiosko 4 Estaciones is the center of the action... and is open 24 hours a day. The Plaza itself is awesome. It's an open-air square with benches, a lifelike statue of the father of salsa (I am told) and city hall. Bounded by shops on all sides, it's obvious that it's the epicenter of political gossip and social catching up. It's also full of cops. They, mostly, stand around in sunglasses and pose but all seem to be friendly enough. And, a couple of lady-cops brought 'Sir Psycho Sexy' to mind. So, all that's awesome. Late night (for me), there are few things better (food-wise) than to chomp on some big-ass cinnamon rolls, drink some coffee, look up at the night time sky and contemplate life. And, if you can do that while ogling some hottie cops, even better. I was, all, creepy starer. I couldn't help it. I had cinnamony-sugar sticky buns, booze in my system, island air in my lungs, 'Sir Psycho Sexy' in my head, and stretchy pants atop... well, the view was incredible. So, all that's awesome. Thinking that I would get the nerve up to actually achieve the game of all game, I decided to come back the next night, get some treats and spit some game. I was on vaca in Puerto Rico. I owed it to myself. So, nighttime. Check. Perfect weather. Check. Me looking FINE. Check. SPS playing as my theme song. Check. Cuties with booties... and badges. Check. Dudes who sold my donut treats hanging out of the back of the K4E feeding a dog (a healthy looking dog, but a dog nonetheless) said treats of of his hand. Chec... What in the hell? All that's NOT awesome. I am a germaphobe.... and I am still giving the place 3 stars. Those were some serious booties.

    It's just a little kiosk

We ordered the fried eggs with ham - typical luncheonette food. It came out quickly. Staff was very accommodating to my son who wanted rice and beans for breakfast. Second time we were here we had lunch. I ordered the bistec with onions. Delicious once again. Portion size was great and prices even better. We started chatting it up with some of the servers (one of whom I think may be the owner?) Third time we were here was the morning before coming back home. I ordered the ham and Swiss sandwich. Food came out quickly. Great little sandwich! My son orders his usual rice and beans again. The food and service made Mandolin one of my top places to go to in San Juan.

Everyone was so friendly, chatty, and welcoming, creating a fun and authentic local experience. Breakfast was outstanding. We enjoyed the avena, a delicious Cubano sandwich, a ham, egg, and cheese sandwich, a mortadella sandwich, and, of course, an excellent cup of authentic Puerto Rican coffee. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and prepared with care. A special thank you to the staff for the wonderful hospitality. Great food, amazing coffee, and even better service made this one of our favorite breakfast spots. We can't wait to come back the next time we're in Old San Juan!

Luckily, there was a gentleman outside directing people in, otherwise we may have walked right past it. Once you climb the two flights of stairs, you're rewarded with a beautiful dining space. The restaurant has a rustic, old-world charm with gorgeous décor and an Italian-inspired atmosphere. It immediately felt warm and inviting. There were four of us dining, and we started with two appetizers: the Setas Rellenas and the Chorizo al Vino. Both were excellent, but the Chorizo al Vino was my absolute favorite--absolutely delicious! For my entrée, I ordered the chicken lasagna. I expected chunks of chicken, but it was made with shredded chicken, and wow--it was incredible. The flavor was outstanding, and it ended up being one of my favorite meals of our trip. My husband ordered the beef lasagna, which was also made with shredded beef rather than traditional ground beef. He absolutely loved it. Our friends ordered the Milanesa de Berenjena and the Milanesa de Pollo with a side of gnocchi, and both raved about their meals as well. Since nearly every table seemed to be ordering pizza, we knew we had to try one. We ordered a small pizza for the table, and each of us had a slice. Now we understand why they're known for their pizza--it was fantastic! A special shoutout to our server, Rouil Rodz, who was attentive, friendly, and provided excellent service throughout the evening. Don't let the unassuming entrance fool you. This restaurant is a hidden gem with a beautiful atmosphere, outstanding food, and excellent service. If you're visiting Old San Juan, I highly recommend adding it to your list.
