We each ordered a different 12" pizza, one for each of us. In hindsight, we could've ordered one pizza that the three of could have shared and would we have been satiated! My significant other ordered a prosciutto and arugula pizza. She had one at Cancino's in Mexico City November 2019 and LOVED it. We've never seen it on another menu here. So, when she saw it on their menu, she ordered it right away! It was perfect! There was about 4 ounces of arugula and the $20 something a pound prosciutto on it. See the photo. No crispy cremated prosciutto chips nor wilted arugula arrived to the table. My friend had the red meat pizza. It looks like about a pound of sausage meat and a whole pepperoni was sliced and put on his pizza. He kept picking pepperoni off his pizza and putting it on ours. When I opened it, it looked like garbage, five slices of pizza they would discard. I have never went to a business, going through too good to waste, where I have felt like I had received garbage. For a reduced price, I was given old pizza slices that look like they were sitting around all day. I asked if he can warm it, and he said no. I told him that I have two orders, and he gave me basically the same thing he gave me the first time. Very, very disappointed. Again, this speaks to the character of a business, because thirty minutes before closing, they are many things that are too good to go or throw out. We really didn't look to see if they came with anything. I also last minute asked for 2 more sandwiches that looked so good in the case so I didn't have to cook dinner when we got home. However, this has happened multiple times, and at this point it feels like there's a lack of care when it comes to getting orders right. When ordering slices online, there is no way to select the type of slice you want (you have to leave your request in the comments). If they don't have what you asked for, instead of calling to confirm, they will ignore part of your order and send whatever is easiest--or, if you're "lucky," they'll take a pre-made plain slice, throw on toppings to get it as close as possible, reheat it, and send it without ever checking with you. What made this worse was their response when I called. I was told they didn't need to confirm the order because it was placed online and already paid for, so they would just give me what they had. The lack of communication and accountability is incredibly frustrating, and it honestly makes me regret giving them another chance after previous mistakes with my order. Also, despite advertising no delivery fee, they charge both a delivery fee and a convenience fee. TL;DR: If you want the best chance of getting what you actually ordered, place your order in person.
