I order from here often, but after this experience, I won't be ordering again. I understand that mistakes can happen, especially with a local business. However, this has happened multiple times, and at this point it feels like there's a lack of care when it comes to getting orders right. When ordering slices online, there is no way to select the type of slice you want (you have to leave your request in the comments). If they don't have what you asked for, instead of calling to confirm, they will ignore part of your order and send whatever is easiest--or, if you're "lucky," they'll take a pre-made plain slice, throw on toppings to get it as close as possible, reheat it, and send it without ever checking with you. What made this worse was their response when I called. I was told they didn't need to confirm the order because it was placed online and already paid for, so they would just give me what they had. The lack of communication and accountability is incredibly frustrating, and it honestly makes me regret giving them another chance after previous mistakes with my order. Also, despite advertising no delivery fee, they charge both a delivery fee and a convenience fee. TL;DR: If you want the best chance of getting what you actually ordered, place your order in person. read more

In hopes to upgrade this review, soon, to 5 stars after having had Stellas pizza. It remains to be seen. For some reason, Stellas may(not)have had a Grand Re-Opening as what I thought was a first time menu was actually a duplicate from some time ago. The food was delivered on time. Not deducting stars for getting a side salad instead of the Greek salad that had ordered --- possibly an oversight. Nelson, who conducted the phone order, was most polite, friendly, and appeared professional. I can honestly say that our Eggplant Parm was the "real" eggplant and not a frozen patty from months ago as most eateries try to pass off. The sauce appears homemade, not commercial jarred. I'll never know, but my impression is that I'm a satisfied customer keeping Stellas on our "to-go-to" list. Great job guys -- soon it'll be pizza time;) read more

I had been going here for close to a year, but NO MORE, at all! I'm more than certain that prices here are arbitrary. "Regulars" get charged one price and everyone else another! I can't figure out why the owner continues to struggle when checking you out at the register--there's always a hesitancy and confusion when its time to pay! Prices are NOT consistent here, ever! Be aware that my LAST meal here (and it was my LAST!) consisted of a plain SLICE of pizza ($4.50), a small house salad ($8.99) and was charged $1 for the dressing, and a large can of soda ($3.99). Pizza's are on the smaller side. They also have a crust ring almost 2" in places before you hit any cheese. That makes them seem even smaller. $18.75 for a large cheese pie was expensive when you consider what you actually get too eat. I've been to all the pizza places here and All the deli's have better pizza. Nearby in Cortlandt you can find real size pizzas too. No reason to ever go back. Just left there at closing time..........shelves are still full of sandwiches. I wonder how long they keep them until somebody buys them. I've ordered from here before and haven't had any issues. Tonight we ordered a grandmas pizza and went to pick it up and got it fresh from the oven. When we got home the pizza was cardboard with cheese. Hard to eat, thin, and overall disgusting. I feel stupid for paying for it. I called to let them know and the girl just said "oh I'll let them know" and " we'll do better next time." So sad to see a local place going downhill. read more

Ordering from here is always a gamble. Sometimes the pizza is really good, other times not so much. Their boneless wings are always a good deal though, but each time they gotten just a teeny tiny bit worst than the last. Nothing to have ever complained about, but small things you notice over time. First it was less and less sauce, then it was less and less chicken. But since it comes with fries, for the price it still remained a decent deal. However, the last time I picked up boneless teriyaki wings online, I got home to find they gave me... actual chicken nuggets in teriyaki sauce. This food is nasty. The pizza is sloppy, same thing with the sandwiches. Mine also had a hair in it. Most of the time when my family gets pizza from here, it droops down like a waterfall for some reason and it is squishy. Overall it is pretty bad. Ordered this past Saturday. The bill was $77 for sub par food. Spaghetti in garlic and oil had no garlic and watery olive oil and it was $16.99. Nonna's is $10 but unfortunately they are closed for 6 weeks. Cavatelli w/sausage/ broccoli also had no garlic. Eggplant parm wedge, the bread I'm surprised I didn't break a tooth. I stopped in to get a few rolls and chatted quickly with the guys behind the counter. extremely nice and friendly. We just moved to the area and are looking for our regular pizza spot. The rolls were really good and he threw in garlic knots for free which was such a nice gesture. The next time we order pizza will def be from here. Happy to have found a great local place! read more

I wanted very much to give 5 Stars as they are super friendly, local, clean, and food is good. That said the Pizza is on bland side, and could use tad more cheese. Also the Chicken Parm Hero was bit dry. However, their Rolls, and Meatball Parm Hero are excellent. So I can't recommend the Pizza itself, but other foods are good and can't beat the friendly service. read more

Getting my hair done next door and I decided to try Stella's dinner for 4 .... i ordered chicken Marsala dinner ... comes with macaroni ... salad ... bread and a dessert ... zeppoles ... had the same sauce on the pasta .... the dinner is nicely presented. Must say it was a big hit at my house ... my 10 month old grandson ..couldn't get it fast enough for him to eat and my daughter was a fan.... all this for $29.00 dollars .... loved the salad ..... the place is clean and the people are so nice ... will be back and I hope you give it a try .... they have many dinners and lunch specials too read more

Tonight's order started with a GubHub order. Do not recommend using It. We placed the order and over a hour and half later still no food. I called the restaurant and the girl that answered the phone knew right way what order I was calling about and why it was taking so long. She told me they were making a full fresh order due to the long wait time for a driver and offered to drive the food to em herself. I was excited to see a new place in this plaza and decided to stop in after getting my nails done next door. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by lots of friendly smiles, which is always a HUGE plus! Got a slice of Margherita pizza and it was delicious! Everything looks good and they seem to have a steady stream of customers from the area, which is always nice to see! The food is great. Great selection. Food is delivered warm. The only issue I have is the delivery drivers. I put my money in an envelope and the driver never left my change. I always ask for the food to be left in the screen in porch beacuse I live in the middle of the woods. And I don't want anything to happen to my food. We decided to try this new pizzeria in town. We went twice. The first time the chicken was not cooked properly and the pasta was overcooked. Pene vodka was just a heavy cream with tomato sauce. No flavor. We figured we would give it one more try because it was new. The next time we ordered chicken and it was not cooked enough we threw it out. Nice. Everything about Stella's is nice! The sauce is fresh, not overwhelmed with burned up bitter nasty garlic powder. The burgers are delish. I get the mushroom Swiss and it comes with onion rings! Yep, they give you onion rings. The Sicilian pizza has a nice crispy crust, like it's supposed to be. It's pizza--not a big loaf of bread with tomato sauce on it, which is the way a lot of places around here make it. The cheesecake is the best all around. Rich, dense, a hint of lemon. I had the chicken parmesan roll and a calzone earlier today , and I enjoyed both very much. Not too much dough , just the right amount , crispy but not burned , very good mixture of mozzarella and ricotta cheese , the chicken tasted fresh and was breaded nicely , and the marinara sauce was excellent.
