The lobby is classic, friendly concierge and doorman. It has 60 floors with views of the Hudson River, NY times building, Empire State Building and Jersey City. On the 31 floor is the community roof deck with a great view of Empire and Hudson River. Full gym with pool, sun deck, laundry facilities on 29th floor. The layout for the condos have stainless steel appliances, floor to ceiling windows, dark wood floors, very zen like feel. If you are able to afford it you should definitely check it out.

For example, I have expanded my vocabulary by talking to people and now able to talk more fluently. In addition - everyone on the staff here make our lives so easy. Monica - the building Manager and John are across everything and nothing is a problem. Phil our Head of Maintenance has the absolute best team of people and oh my goodness, you put in a request and it is dealt with ASAP. Their attention to maintenance of building codes is second to none. Then Tom - our Head of Security - he makes our lives safer and easier. We have fantastic activities arranged at no charge by the amazing Jill ( I'm sad that most times work timezones prevents me attending ) We have fabulous amenities a full length lap pool and an amazing gym with classes. Finally we have a team of people - too many to name, from our front desk lead by Dritan, our doormen who even in the coldest days have a smile - Dino / Francois / Richie / Mario - Then the team of porters who are the nicest people -willing to do anything for you to make your life easier. If you are considering moving here - go speak to Richard Fite in leasing ! His honesty and assistance in finding an apartment in the building that suited me was spot on. I have no affiliation with Silverstein Properties but I know how hard it is to find a lovely apartment and did I mention there is a daily back and forth shuttle at peak times along 42nd St? When I first moved in, the experience--from the front desk to management and maintenance--was truly magnificent. Unfortunately, I have noticed a significant decline in quality recently. It often feels as though the newer buildings are receiving more attention while the standards here have shifted. Having been here since the opening, my perspective comes from long-term experience, and there have been several valid issues that have led me to change my view of the property. Furthermore, I must address the situation regarding the parking garage. While I understand it is under separate ownership, it is an integral part of the resident experience, and the service there is currently unacceptable. As a customer paying $350 a month, I have found the treatment of both myself and my vehicle to be outrageous. There are significant communication barriers with the attendants, and the overall level of service warrants a serious investigation.

The location is right on the waterfront, lively during the day and calm at night, despite being just a 15-minute walk from Times Square. The staff from reception to the doormen are exceptionally professional and Brian Love is one of the most competent leasing agents I've ever dealt with.

One of the biggest problems is the lack of reliable hot water during the winter. I have had to repeatedly email the janitor just to have the hot water restored, which should not be something residents have to constantly follow up on. There is also virtually no cell phone service inside my apartment, and the building does not have an intercom system. This makes receiving guests and deliveries extremely inconvenient because I have no way of knowing when someone has arrived or is coming upstairs. The amenities are also poorly managed. The gym equipment is old and in need of updating. Residents are charged $10 just to bring a guest to the rooftop, which feels excessive, especially when I regularly see people who do not appear to live in the building using the basketball courts. The laundry facilities are another major frustration. Washers and dryers are frequently out of service and can remain broken for weeks at a time. The shuttle service is also far less useful than it should be. Instead of operating consistently throughout the day, it primarily provides pickups during the day and drop-offs in the evening. This makes it impractical for residents who want to use the shuttle during normal commuting hours to get to and from the subway. Overall, the building feels poorly managed, and residents are nickel-and-dimed for amenities despite persistent problems with basic services and maintenance. Between the unreliable hot water, outdated amenities, broken laundry machines, inconvenient shuttle schedule, lack of an intercom, and additional fees, I would not recommend living here.

The building has lots of history (landmark) and the marble lobby is a sight to behold. Apartments themselves are pretty average. The kitchen appliances are just ok, and the stove is on the smaller end, and generally electric. Studios are pretty small, and ask for quite a lot. People still rent here though, because the amenities are great, and the location is pretty convenient. If space isn't too much important and you want great amenities, this apartment is a good choice, but otherwise, the price per square foot is not a great deal.

A/C unit only works 80% of the time. RED FLAG! - We were told on numerous occasions that we would receive our deposit of $1500 the day we returned the keys. However, that was NOT the case. We were told by Zaure (management) that we wouldn't get it for up to 45 days and it would be sent to our home in LA... she knew the entire time that we had to relocate to another area of NY and needed that deposit back to give to production who was funding our stay. I told her we wouldn't give the keys back until we received the deposit because we had it in WRITING that stated she would give us our deposit the day of checkout. She responded with, "Please don't keep something that isn't yours." The only person(s) keeping anything that wasn't theirs was Bridge Suites withholding our MONEY. We had to drive from Long Island to Manhattan to pickup the check that should've been there the day of checkout. *** When they start withholding money and go back on their word - BEWARE ***

It was literally half the costs of other similar places but had much nicer amenities and a beautiful courtyard where I like to read and do my paperwork. Close to mass transit and many yummy restaurants. Staff is quick to respond for any needs. Polite and hospitable. The apartment came with everything I needed, fully stocked, bedding, furniture etc. Kitchen was in excellent condition. All I needed was my toiletries and clothing I was ready to rock n roll. You can't get better in the city that never sleeps!
