I ordered a single cheeseburger no tomatoe no onion with side of Cajun fries and a large drink. It was busy and it was lunch time but, I waited over 10 minutes for my food which I figured it'd be fresh. By the time I got my food I grabbed the bag and drove off I got to a place where I was going to eat. My fries were so hard, cold, and stale. I was not happy. I tried other fries they all were hard and felt stale. So I opened my burger, it was cold but ok, I was starving so I ate it but again it was cold. The only good thing was my drink. Quick burger and a satisfied belly! This restaurant always satisfies my taste buds. I typically visit this place 2-3 times a month. This day I went on my lunch break. Being that the parking lot is always full, and drive thru too, our food always finds its way to us within 15 minutes. The restaurant recently updated their menu and water size cup The fast and friendly service is just want Seguin needs. Don't mind throwing your trash away either because there is alway a kind employee passing by while we're finishing up happy to throw it away for us. Here for work and stopped by Kirby's for a quick burger. I got a double cheeseburger with lettuce, mayo and grilled onion. The burger was made to order and hot off the grill. It was tasty and decently filling. I would have liked to see a little more meat on the patties for a burger that costs $9.49. I would give it a 3.5/5 simply for this reason. So I had a really big order and they deathly messed up. I say this because they added jalapeños to my husbands burger and he is allergic. They took them off but the juice and seeds were still on it and he was throwing up all night. The best homemade burgers, they taste so fresh and have a variety of flavors. One of my favorites is The Kirby burger comes With mushrooms, and Swiss cheese it's amazing and I also love the Mexi burger it comes with homemade chili and cheese and jalapeño it's delicious. Their salads are also so good my favorite is the Greek salad but their chicken avocado salad is also Amazing. You won't be disappointed. They are closed on Sunday so that is a bummer. We were driving through the area and saw the sign that stated these were the Best Burgers In Texas. Seriously. It reminded me of when Will Farrell goes to the diner that claims to have the best coffee in NY so we decided to try it why not. Oh. My. Goodness. I had the Kirby burger and it was amazing! I truly don't understand it. The patty was thin, but the texture and flavor were perfect. The bun was perfectly soft. Just everything about it was incredible. The onion rings? Perfectly greasy, with melt in your mouth onions. I'm very picky about my chocolate shakes--yup, loved that, too. My mom had the Impossible burger and was amazed by it. Nice little burger joint! Friendly staff. Fairly clean. Burger was pretty good, nothing outstanding. I had the Bacon Cheeseburger, and I must say - the meat was a little on the dry side. But everything else made up for it, and it probably helped make the burger less messy. Fried pickles probably not eh best choice. The batter didn't stay on the pickles, so I ended up eating them separatist times, which made it difficult to dip in the ranch dressing. Sweet tea was well made, not overly sweet with a good flavor. I would like to first start off by pointing out that just because an establishment puts "The Best Burgers In Texas - Seriously" on their menu board, doesn't actually mean that statement has to be accurate or truthful. This is by far the WORST burger joint we've had in Texas, EVER. It's fitting that it's in Seguin and that it's residents find this appealing. We've had better burgers at a poorly managed Burger King in a border town. The burger meat is bland and tasteless. The buns although soft, with a decent texture, are eclipsed by the excessive sogginess due to whatever sauces and poorly drained vegetables they put on their burgers. Don't order the Cajun fries, because again, their is nothing accurate about that label. They are just generic curly fries with NO seasoning. Nothing Cajun about curly fries. I once pulled a potato straight from the earth and bit into it. The taste of freshly manured soil excites the palate more than these fries did. Not a joke. We tried a large number of the items on their menu(family of 6), and nothing, and I mean NOTHING got more than 2 bites. At the conclusion of our "meal" we had a bag full of uneaten food. If you aren't from Seguin, do yourself a favor, and do not waste your money. Your wallet and stomach will thank us later. read more

While visiting Seguin I used reviews and stars to find a local place to take the family to eat. We went thru the drive thru since we had spent all day at the ballpark. The packaging for to go orders is not ideal. food is placed in a food boat and covered with paper. Once we got back to our hotel, we noticed we were not given straws for our drinks, nor utensils to eat a baked potato. they also forgot our side order of okra.
