I felt like, I was in the presence of a true professional, who knew exactly how to lead me to where I wanted to go with a new hairstyle. Husband said he was offered a beer, had great conversation and felt Terri knew exactly how to cut his hair to fit his style without any hesitation, she knew what she was doing from the get go he said. It's interesting that you say we were late to my husband's appt. Agreed, traffic was terrible and unexpected. ‍ (we're not used to it in all honesty) I t texted 2x stating we would be running late did not get a response back. So, one would assume that the appt would still be since we didn't hear otherwise. Not asking for anything. Maybe a booking service for you where someone can respond back in a timely manner would be helpful. read more

I have been to several barbers over the years, but none was as thorough, thoughtful, and professional as Terri here at Kirkland Man. I was her last appointment for the day, and each appointment is usually 45 minutes long. But we spent almost 45 minutes just consulting and talking about what I liked/disliked about the prior haircut experiences. We talked about several ideas and looks. She made some excellent suggestions. We went back and forth on some of those, looked at pictures of what it might look like, updated the "design" based on some of the pictures, then she did a mock up on me holding my hair in ways so I could get a better view/idea of the end result. Once we were satisfied, she did an awesome job putting it altogether. And the end result is awesome. It is definitely an edgy, bold, and different look for me, but I'm very satisfied. My wife was happy with my new look as well. Our only gripe was that she doesn't deal with women's hair for my wife also haha. Oh and before I forget, the hot towel on the face, the scalp massage, and the shampoo/conditioning is just fantastic. She's also easy to talk to, and has an affable personality. Highly recommend her. Will definitely revisit for my next haircut needs. read more
