I've been looking for alternatives to the typical bagels breakfast for our board meetings and stumbled across Kiros. They also are available on LA Bite, which delivers straight to your door. I contacted them via their website to inquire about a quote for breakfast and got a response within a few hours. Anthony was very responsive and helpful and answered all my questions. FOOD: We went with the Breakfast Burrito Buffet and split it between 3 bacon, 3 sausage and 2 ham. They are cut in half so with 8 of them we had plenty for a group of 15. It also came with Orange Juice and Coffee for the group. It was a little confusing because both came in a carafe so the orange juice looked like the coffee, I put an extra marking on the juice so people wouldn't be confused. The coffee came with cups, creamer, stirrers and sugar packets. People did say the coffee didn't taste THAT great, but good enough for catered coffee. It stayed hot/warm for about 4 hours. The breakfast burritos were good sized and came with eggs, cheese, potatoes and the meat. Everyone said it tasted good just that it was messy, but they gave us utensil and napkin packets with plates so that helped. Fresh fruit platter for 10 had a lot of good fruit like watermelon, pineapple, grapes etc. It wasn't your typical cubed fruit salad but had actual wedges of the fruit and it looked very fresh. DELIVERY: delivery was for 6:45 am and he was right on time and very friendly. He set everything up without any direction and they even bring a little tablecloth for the food, very nice! Everything was perfect so I didn't have to do a thing. Overall, I would definitely use this place again for catering not just breakfast but I would try their regular lunch as well. Kiros is my go-to caterer. I am a sales rep and often give lunch presentations. I know that the food will arrive hot and delicious and with a beautiful presentation. I am able to customize things when there are vegetarian requests or people with certain allergies. They have cards labeling each dish, serving ware, a table cloth, etc. The food always gets great feedback from my clients. I had a last minute need for catering (the next day, for work, 80 people) and my internal catering team was booked. So I considered myself lucky to find someone who could handle the order. The price was decent so I crossed my fingers the food would be good. I ordered the bruschetta, chicken skewers, mushroom caps and the zucchini cups. They even provided signage. I could not be more disappointed in a caterer. You'd think in this day caterers would have some respect and care for dietary requirements. I cannot eat gluten and it can make me very sick if consumed. I was let known that they have gluten free wraps and I specifically ordered a gluten free wrap (which they acknowledged) but after eating a few bites I grew very suspicious as it didn't seem gluten free. I called Kiros and they confirmed that it was NOT a gluten free wrap even though the order said for it to be one. They obviously have no care for quality or attention to detail. They really need to treat gluten free as any other allergy as it can make someone very sick if consumed. There is no excuse for directly missing that item when you offer it as an option AND it is confirmed by the order taker. This is your profession, you should pay extra attention to dietary requirements. On top of that, I don't even think their food is all the good to begin with. You can tell all the food is made with same set of spices and offer little, to no, variety in taste. Don't say you can make Italian or Southern or Mexican food if all your food is going to taste Mediterranean. And I am from a Mediterranean background so I know what real Mediterranean food is supposed to taste like, and it is not what they are making. I am constantly exposed to this caterer because my company orders food from them, but I will absolutely not be eating their food any longer. We have had many different caterers at my company over the years to offer some diversity to the employees and this caterer is BY FAR the worst we have ever had. I have never had so many issues with a caterer before and am baffled by how many people on here are giving them 5 stars. Many people at my company are not a fan of their food, but they are the cheapest option (for now) so we are going with them. My hope is to provide enough huff and puff from me will result in not using this caterer anymore. It's terrible. UPDATE 4/20/17: Since the above review, I believe Kiros Catering has definitely made me feel heard and seem to care about my happiness with their food and service. I have been contacted by many people on their team with apologies and they have showed a genuine concern for my issues and have taken appropriate actions. They have even changed their menu for us to include healthier options and have offered to leave off certain ingredients on the buffet for "add ons" so that I (and others with dietary requirements) can still eat the food. I do believe they have made a good effort in trying to make things better and I appreciate that. I have altered my star review to reflect their attention to the matter and their effort in making things better. Nothing can erase the past, but how they handled it moving forward was all I could ask for. read more

The company I work for was having a large breakfast for all of its US employees, and our original caterer cancelled on us the day before the event (we had them booked for an entire month and they confirmed multiple times), so we were anxious and stressed to find a replacement and worried we would have to go with a second-rate company. The other company cancelling ending up being a blessing. Kiro's catering was able to put an entire breakfast together, showed up on time, had servers replacing food as the containers were emptied, and the food was amazing. Their serving dishes were BEAUTIFUL. They gave us time to eat and finish up and they came back to pick up their things. Employees keep coming up to me telling me its the best caterer weve had at our company. We have already discussed the next time we will be using them. Good reviews don't mean anything if you just petition to have bad reviews removed from Yelp. So, here is my review with slightly more detail... My family and I were inquiring about using services from this company, however, the customer service received over the phone was terrible.... and just because you do not have my name as a customer does not mean that I didn't call your company or have any interactions with you. So, be nice to all potential customers. Don't be rude and talk down to potential customers cause we can still write reviews. Having reviews deleted solely based on the fact that you don't have record of my name as a customer is laughable. If you catered an event that I was a guest at and I had a bad experience then I'm not your customer but I can still post a review. Just take the review and do better. Kiros Catering went ABOVE AND BEYOND expectations. I give them 50 stars! hahaha! I planned our Office Holiday Party on 12/10/16 and it took me a while to find the right caterer. Their food is AMAZING! We had the holiday menu and I was afraid that since we did a buffet-style dinner, the turkey and prime rib will be dry; to my surprise, they were moist and fall-apart tender. Everyone loved the food. They are fairly priced and their staff is the nicest, easiest, flexible, most accommodating group of caterers I have ever dealt with. I cannot say enough nice things about Ehsan. I went through 7-10 different caterers who would charge me "extra this and extra that" and require "staffed" events. I mean, I just want a simple buffet-style dinner, no staff, just deliver and set up the food. Ehsan came to my rescue. He modified and adjusted the menu to our needs. It is also obvious that they cater to businesses because they are so efficient. Raffi (spelling?) delivered and set up the food on time and made sure everything is clean and ready to go. I would recommend ordering several plates more than the actual number of people attending because we did go through most of the food, and we ordered extra. Kiro's catered lunch for approximately 100 people attending our organization's annual business conference. We ordered lemon pepper chicken, a vegetable medley including asparagus, as well as wild rice, salad, rolls, and dessert. Every single item tasted excellent, was served at the correct temperature, and was exceedingly fresh. The dessert platter was especially impressive; the items varied widely, from cheesecake to caramel glazed brownies, and all of them tasted fantastic. They did an amazing job, the tables' set-up, decoration, service and the food were beyond imagination. The wedding was at the Ritz-Carlton Marina Del Ray on August 2017, the hotel imposed a lot of restriction on Kiros, and they were really up to it, the appetizers were amazing and the quantities were very generous, the main dish at the dinner was impressive and very delicious. I reached out to Kiros a few weeks out and asked them to create a menu to accomodate my budget and also change it up so that people were not eating the same food everyday. They got back to me within minutes with everything I needed. They were on time every single morning and afternoon for both breakfast and lunch. The food that Kiro's delivers is top notch - always tastes great, very good menu selection and presentation. Definitely a crowd pleaser. However, you'll only get to taste it if they actually deliver on time or to the right location. Our company has finally decided to no longer use Kiro's to cater our meetings, as we have had far too many negative incidents with their delivery. These range from delivering over 1 hour late, delivering to a completely wrong location and leaving the food there, or even flat out forgetting about our order - even after confirming multiple times ahead of time. Good food to impress on time! I have ordered lunchboxes, individual meals, and buffet-style food service for the work from Kiros Catering. The presentation is impressive, and the taste is equally as impressive. It is important to change it up, and with their menu I can change it up but I know the quality of food I will receive whether it's a sandwich or Sea Bass. Kiros makes me look good!
