This place is fantastic. The food, we tried the bocalo and a mole shrimp special for entrees, and the brownie and a scoop of the horchata and cardamom ice creams. This place was so good. We didn't have reservation, but they were able to accommodate us. They were super busy but so helpful to us. They ended up making a mistake and comping my wife's meal which they did not have to do at all. Food was amazing and the servers had great up lifting spirt. Will eat here again. Authentic Mexican Food but I'd recommend extra jalapeños to make the flavor. Personally I'm used to American Mexican fast food!

We started with drinks and the grilled queso... so good! I had the duck and my wife had the paella.... I cannot emphasize enough how good our meals were. taste and texture that we have never had before. We had dessert that was like a Rolling Stones encore. You can't beat the food, prices or service. They do special dinners for different holidays to definitely watch for. The Valentine's Day dinner is coming up and I am so excited to see what they do this time! The winter specials were amazing! Dinner at Kismet yesterday. Disappointing. We loved the fried Queso, Fried Avocado and Elote. My son in law liked the Octopus Paella but the rest of our diner needed some love. The Panzanella Salad needed tomatoes or something, the Foccacia croutons were more like stale bread and vinaigrette was lacking. The Cubano was a burnt on the bottom and looked smashed instead of pressed. My wife tried to cut it in half but couldn't pick it up because the bottom half of the bun had turned to mush. My Duck Confit Carnitas weren't prepared correctly, the duck had either been braised in fat that was to hot or put in a fryer to crisp up way too long, most of it was inedible with a jerky consistency . Maybe it was a new cook or something else. Don't mean to complain I worked in restaurants for over 30 years and know how hard it is to keep quality standards up. If I could give 10 stars I would. Hands down the best food I've had in the Spokane area. You have to try the spring onion cheese tart! Bring your thanksgiving pants because everything is really good and I couldn't put the fork down. Owners super friendly and service was great. My new favorite! read more

Was really excited to try it out but was a bit disappointed. The Ahi Poke was way too salty and the roasted Jalapeños were marginal at best. Our dinner partners Cubano sandwich was so dry she couldn't eat it. The other items were nice but only batting 50% isn't a good track record. With so many new restaurants opening it might be awhile before we give it another try. read more

This place is amazing. I visited with a group of five and we tried several things on the menu. The Pomegranate and Jicama salad was great (subbed out blue cheese for manchego cheese) along with the Elote salad. Loved the Pork Verde sandwich--excellent toasted bread, melty cheese, brown butter aioli with braised, tender pork, served with golden fries and pickled vegetables. The goat cheese and leek tart was creamy with a nice crust--the grape salsa was a great pairing. I appreciated their attention to detail, particularly around food allergies. I stopped in with my wife for lunch, and it was awesome! The soup of the day was a delicious lentil chili. My wife had pork tamales, which I promptly stole after devouring my empanada. Friendly staff. Menu loaded with items that sound delicious. We'll be back. read more
