It's a great local cha cha tan (Hong Kong style tea house) for all your cafe cravings. Decent wonton noodles and braised brisket noodles. Their coffe or coffee/tea is wonderful in the morning. Kissena Cafe used to be a Tea Shop 168 but now they sell Hong Kong style breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It is not your usual Chinese bakery because they no longer sell the $1-$2 bakery bread and pastry items. They sell a lot of HK fast food specialties like spam and egg over rice, milk tea, macaroni and soup, and congee. I wold suggest ordering what's on the menu but without any replacements because there are surcharges (for ex. $1 for a slice of cheese. Everything is pretty much pre-made and they just heat it up. There's an arrangement in this cafe that after 5 pm each day (except Thurs), someone uses the premise to sell Cantonese wonton noodle. The wontons are super sized and fresh, one of the best ones I have in Flushing. However the service is terrible. I went there on a hot weather day and asked for a cup of tap water. Awesome spot for a quick, cheap HK styled breakfast. We ordered the set menus and everything came out quickly. This is definitely a spot down memory lane. Wow is this place good! Convenient and right off the highway. A nice little place to stop and get some bubble tea and fresh baked goods. Came here on the way to the airport, Had an egg&cheese sandwich. The crust was cut off just like when I was younger, Nice & fresh and pipping hot! Had peach bubble tea. Of course it was delicious. The bubbles were by far the best I have ever had. Perfectly chewy and squishy. Also took some baked goods on the go. A croissant and a coconut bun. Both fresh and tasty. Also this place doesn't make a dent in your wallet. With all that I ate plus 2 more drinks, another egg sandwich, and 4 more baked goods it came to around 18 dollars. Totally worth it ! I've also tried the rose milk tea which was pretty good too! The staff is super quick and efficient, perfect when on the go, which I usually am when ordering from here. The people here work very fast to get you your food because they're used to serving people who are in the middle of catching a bus. Perfect cheap eats in Queens! Their pan fried beef udon is really good! Baked ham and chicken in cream sauce over rice is my favorite. Have literally lived in this neighborhood for many years and they have tried to scam me multiple times. I live close by and the few times (around 10-15 times) I've come, most of the time they've just been nasty! Once, I ordered the spam and egg macaroni combo, they gave me the correct order. The person that took my order forgot or said something in Cantonese and one of the men working there took my milk tea away. I said "I got the combo" which comes with the milk tea. He screamed at me saying "no you cannot have it"...???? I was in a rush with my younger sister so I didn't want it to escalate. Another time, I ordered 1 spam and egg macaroni and another spam and egg ramen, they misheard me and gave me two spam and egg ramen. I didn't want to waste they're time and effort so I told them they didn't have to redo it. I figured it might've been a language barrier. The women screamed at me and said that I was wrong and that I clearly said two orders of ramen. On their menu at this time, the spam and egg macaroni costs $4.25 and has been for a while now, but today I went and ordered the same thing and they charged me $5.25. I asked if they made a mistake, they insisted that the egg costs an extra dollar. I am not complaining about the costs, but they are very inconsistent with prices. If you do not speak Cantonese they are EXTREMELY RUDE to you and will try to SCAM you. This is just a place with the worst staff possible. You'd think they would change after all this time but their service is still HORRIBLE. I'm also not someone to really complain or start an argument but I will bring it up when something bothers me after tolerating it several times. read more

This place is really good. Staff is friendly (except for the lady with glasses; I assume she's the owner. She's very rude.) I've come here a few times and she never smiles, never says thank you, and isn't friendly. Overall this place has really good food. I suggest the egg and cheese sandwich. They also have really good passion fruit green tea, it almost tastes as good as the ones from cocos and Kung fu. The egg and cheese sandwich and passion fruit green tea are $5 total.
