During installation they broke a towel ring in my bathroom and wouldn't admit to doing so nor did anything about it. If the issues stopped there, it wouldn't have been ok but they didn't. I discovered after the first use that there was a leak coming through my ceiling below the new shower into my master closet. Upon sending out their plumber he discovered the drain wasn't properly installed, causing the leak. I then discovered the bezel around the faucet handle could be spun as it wasn't tightened down and the caulking around the outside of the new unit was horrible. They sent our a worker to address the bezel, caulking and to patch my closet ceiling. The bezel and caulking were addressed fine but the next morning the completed ceiling patch had cracked and started to peal. It looked worse than when they started. They again sent a worker out to address the patching who completed the work but didn't sand any of the edges, showing exactly were the join compound was applied - horrible. So he reapplied another coat of joint compound but it was the end of the day on Friday and needed to let it dry. Over the weekend I finished the job myself so I could put everything back into my walk-in master closet. Although the installation was riddled with errors and highly frustrating, the job was eventually finished (with help from myself) and I do have a working shower. I spoke with the GM, Sam, at length who apologized and owned the mistakes and disappointing installation experience. In the end, they did make everything right.

Despite that he kept asking for my husband to be involved in the meeting who was not available due to work. When I told him that our budget was less than 60,000 he stated that he did not want to waste either of our time and left abruptly. It seemed that he did not take me seriously likely because I am a woman. I found his approach disrespectful. I kept getting multiple calls and texts from Kohler after that. I would not recommend Jake or renuity bath to anybody.

Spoke to Irene Lopez and went down the next day. She showed me my "chosen" Terrazura and also had another slab she thought would work. Both slabs looked great with my flooring, cabinet and paint colors. I went with the Terrazura and everything continued to go smoothly through installation. I'm beyond thrilled with my new kitchen and love my quartz. Highly recommend Factory Plaza! And big thanks to Irene for seeing my vision and Alex for a flawless installation. I've forgotten the name of the gentleman who measured but he made a suggestion to add a strip of the quartz behind my stove and it made the whole look so custom. So highly recommend!

I have been ignored by Jose and the management team for over a week despite my repeated attempts to resolve a botched installation. I grew up the granddaughter of a Stone Mason; I know quality work, and I know when a company is taking shortcuts. I specifically chose my stone because I was told it would NOT require a seam. Later in the process, the story changed. It became clear they simply didn't want to deal with the labor-intensive task of maneuvering a large slab into place--a job that might have required a minor wall repair but would have resulted in the superior finish I paid for. I only begrudgingly agreed to a seam because they promised it would be executed perfectly. My original fears were justified: it was a disaster. The issues: * Poor Craftsmanship: The seam is recessed and uneven. It is a functional defect that collects debris and requires constant scrubbing. * Lack of Effort: While I understand vein matching is difficult, there was clearly no attempt at a professional transition here. It stands out like a sore eye. * Dismissive Management: After a failed "repair" (just smeared epoxy), the stone manager told me "nothing more can be done." In an era of digital fabrication, that is a flat-out lie. I would never dream of treating my own clients with this level of neglect. If the check has cleared, Factory Plaza is finished with you. The only reason I am giving two stars instead of one is because the kitchen island turned out well and Gina in the front office was a sweetheart who went above and beyond to try and remedy the situation. It's a shame the owners and management don't share her work ethic. They desperately need professional development in customer service and quality control. Some helpful hints based on our experience: 1. A big countertop dealer like MSI, located in Elk Grove Village, has a very large showroom where you can see the full countertop slabs. We had some preferences based on the web site pictures and the little quartz samples, but ended up selecting a different slab once we were in the showroom. You really want to see the full countertop slabs before your decision is finalized. 2. We were really disappointed with the Home Depot service, which is The Countertop Factory - Midwest. There was an extremely hard sell visit to our house and a take-it-or-leave it price. 3. Many quartz countertop installation services want you to select quartz they already have in stock. Davan let us shop around and we selected an MSI countetop, which MSI already had in stock. Our job therefore proceeded quickly from final slab selection to installation (less than two weeks). 4. I was unnecessarily nervous about our kitchen tile backsplash when our old formica countertops were replaced with new quartz countertops. We wanted to retain the old kitchen backsplash. That was not a problem and the installation occurred smoothly.

When I went out to look at the granite and quartz in Davan's warehouse, they were inviting, accommodating and helpful. Jay took so much time with me and our very unique piece to make sure everything was just right. Anna, was responsive with scheduling and I was impressed at every step. The installers were prompt, clean and careful. I ended up with quartz as a replacement because I loved the piece that Jay helped me find. The way we carved out the piece used all of the beautiful veining in the quartz and we are so happy. I cannot recommend Davan enough. I will be back when we do our master bath!

He helped us choose beautiful, high-quality materials within our budget. Also, he gave us great advice in choosing the colors that matched our bathroom theme. As for the actual construction, 4Ever were willing to work around our schedule. We were provided a calendar that included the entire schedule. The process was very smooth, and the disruption was minimal. All the workers were punctual, professional, and respectful. Everyone cleaned up the area before they left for the day. We were also impressed with the fact that some of them were even willing to work on weekends to keep up with the schedule. Moreover, the craftmanship is excellent, and all the workers are seasoned and highly skilled. 4Ever transformed our 2 full bathroom with a tub to a very beautiful walk-in shower. We were also impressed with how often and quickly the team communicated with us. Every week the team leader emailed the update and let us know the upcoming works of the following week. Moreover, our team leader always texted me in advance and let us know when the workers were coming. The team always answered my questions right away. Indeed 4Ever went the extra 10 miles for us. For example, after the remodeling was over, team leader stopped by and made sure that everything was organized and clean. We truly believe that 4Ever wants to make sure that their clients are satisfied completely. The care, service, and communication exceeded our expectations. Now we have a very beautiful bathroom, and we are very happy that we chose to work with 4Ever Remodeling. It was very pleasant to work with the team. We have a few more interior projects in the future, and we would like to work with 4Ever Remodeling again.

We paid $30k+ for a bathroom remodel and did not receive the design services, project management,…read moreor craftsmanship outlined in our contract. The contract specifies a clear process: design completion, written client approval, project schedule, parts ordering, then demolition. 4Ever did not follow this process at any stage. Our designer scheduled demolition before the design was approved. When she arrived for the contractor walkthrough, she claimed to not have received my voicemail or email requesting a design revision (included in the contract). She walked the contractor through the unapproved design and attempted to schedule work to start that Friday. When I objected, she claimed this was to stay on schedule with my contract. I had to quote the contract back to her via email, where it states "an updated start date and schedule will be provided during the design process." No project schedule was ever provided, despite the contract explicitly stating one would be. The designer then asked me to approve materials in Buildertrend with no final design, and told me NOT to refer to the design in Buildertrend to visualize my final bathroom because that design is "for the contractors" -- and to instead trust the studio samples. So I was supposed to commit $30k based on physical samples and my imagination alone. On May 1st, we reselected the materials (fortunately we opted to purchase hardware direct from Ferguson, after discovering 4Ever's significant markup) and our designer promised an updated design. By May 15th, my bathroom was fully demolished and unusable -- no design received, no design signed off, and no project schedule. I did not receive a final design until the following week, after email reminders, and it did not reflect what had been selected in the studio. I emailed our designer photos of the tile I had taken in the studio v. the tile in her design and asked her to change it. On May 20th, she said she'd look into it. I heard nothing back until I sent her an email reminder on May 27th. 4Ever had ordered a special-order, non-returnable tile without providing a final design and without my design approval -- disclosing this only on May 28th, after the bathroom had already been demolished. I was then told work could not continue until I approved the design. I left a voicemail with the manager, was promised a callback, and never received one. The tile issue was resolved and we signed off on the design, but problems persisted. A project schedule was never provided at any point, despite being promised in the contract's scope of work and requested multiple times. Our sales rep had quoted approximately 3 weeks total. Shower glass was not installed until July 3rd -- almost 2 months after demolition began. Once we were finally able to use the shower, we discovered a grout crack running from the ceiling down 2/3 of the shower wall. Upper management's response was that this was normal. It is not -- grout failure of this extent within days of installation is a workmanship defect. After I submitted 17 photos documenting cracks and bubbles, a contractor came to repair the work on July 21st. That same day, our PM tried to get us to sign the project closeout document, which triggers final payment. We declined to sign until we could verify the repair held. Our PM persisted, saying defects would be covered under warranty. Despite not signing the final document, 4Ever tried to send us an invoice for final payment. We gave it a week and scheduled our PM to collect final payment. On that day, we received a voicemail, email, and multiple app notifications stating we were overdue, would be charged late fees, and that 4Ever had already contacted their attorney and we would be liable for their legal fees. We later learned 4Ever placed a lien on our home over the disputed final payment. Post final payment and grout fix, we're finding more cracks in the grout. We did not receive $30k worth of a remodel. We received failure to follow contract process, defective workmanship, terrible communication, and legal threats. Do not recommend.
