As always we enjoyed great food, local artwork, and friendly attentive service. Take a walk by the wetlands after!

We're in town for a wedding, and wanted a close breakfast spot. We chose kitchen cafe & catering, and it didn't disappoint! The space was quaint, being helped almost immediately, the staff was super eager to help with any questions we had. We ordered the breakfast burritos & avocado toast with an orange juice and pastry. My husband was quoted saying "best burrito I've ever had!" When we come back we will be returning customers for sure.

Fun spot for breakfast and lunch. We had the Asian noodle salad with chicken. The tri tip sandwich, the chicken pesto sandwich the avacado toast with salmon, and a breakfast croissant. It was all delicious, the salad was huge, the tri tip was amazingly tender. We split the rosemary garlic fries, hot crispy and tasty. We had a chocolate chip cookie and orange ginger scone for dessert. Both were excellent. I'm looking forward to going back.

I went here on a weekday for breakfast to see what all the hype was about. The pastry selection was impressive looking and the staff were extremely polite. Not a lot of tables, so I can only imagine that weekends could get crowded. My eggs Benedict were presented very nicely on the plate... but... whoever made the hollandaise sauce used too much lemon or vinegar. My GF noticed some small curdled lumps in it and before I took a bite and told me it was going to have a sour bite... she was right, it was pretty sour. Still good, but very sour tasting. The eggs were poached really good and the bed of toast they put it on was toasted perfectly and had a great flavor. Just fix that sauce and this would be a five star. The cherry turnover was loaded with filling, not like some i've had at other places. They did not skimp on filling at all and I would get it again.

Kitchen is a wonderful addition to Novato. They are located in the Hangers in the Hamilton neighborhood. I heard a lot of people raving about them and obviously had to stop by and checking it out for myself. I got lunch with a friend during a weekday. We were greeted by a couple ladies behind the counter. They were very friendly and showed us the different lunch options in the display case. It was hard to choose but I ordered the egg and ham croissant sandwich. It was incredible! I noticed the great quality of all the ingredients. I was so happy it was a hot sandwich. There is plenty of seating inside and outside. We sat outside since it was a nice day. One of the ladies came by our table to see how everything was and we raved about how delicious our meals were. They make all their pastries in house which is nice to hear. There is also some grab and go meals in the refrigerator which is convenient if you need something quick to eat while you're on your lunch break.

The restaurant is located in Hangar 6 of the old Hamilton Air Force Base. The food here is fantastic. Eggs Benedict were very well prepared with amazingly perfect poached eggs. The hollandaise sauce was light and also wonderfully prepared with a hint of lemon. The pastry options are beautiful and well crafted. The staff / owners are very helpful as well. Highly recommended!

Best Fruit tart I have ever had!

Kitchen cafe is truly an amazing breakfast/brunch spot for your next outing with friends! with the outdoor seating and the amazing staff! if you go make sure to try the Cesar salad 5/5 stars!

Delicious food, coffee, and a beautiful inside and outside seating area to just take it all in! The staff are so nice and make you feel at home while you enjoy your delicious treats. Oh and the pastries are to die for! I am a coffee addict and let me tell you that when I say their coffee is better than Starbucks, that's huge coming from me. I plan on going back to try everything on the menu. And if you're gluten free, most of the menu can be made that way for you to enjoy! If you haven't gone yet, you better go now.

Too hungry!!

Wonderful single origin coffees available -pour over style as well as a variety of various espresso drinks, and tea. In the back is the master roaster machinery, and a nice lounge with pinball machines to hang out in and create conversation with other patrons. The staff is real knowledgeable and real personable and frequently make me laugh, and they know their product very well and will share information with the consumer. It's OK to ask a question and they won't yell at you if you want cream in your coffee. They do keep it behind the counter in the refrigerator, by request only. For some reason, coffee always taste better to me on site than at home. Maybe it's the temperature of the water, maybe it's just the ambience and the brief conversation? I don't know but I prefer to have my cup outside of the home. I'm a rather social being. The owner has a knack for hiring, competent, talented and friendly staff! Truly the BEST coffee anywhere, seriously...... maybe that's why they won so many awards?! Beans are available daily and frequently with half-price sale on your second bag. A great gift to send somebody in a different city, throw in a T-shirt or other swag while you're at it. I found that relatives and friends really dig stuff from the Bay Area. There are a variety of "at home barista"accoutrements available for sale to include the lovely Chemex glass coffee maker. Grinders, scales, etc. A coffee paraphernalia shop- "legal speed". I ordered an iced mocha with oat milk during a busy time and waited about 20-30 minutes. While I was waiting, I noticed several customers who ordered after me received their drinks. I went up to the counter to ask about my order, and the cashier seemed confused. The barista remembered making my drink and believed someone may have accidentally taken it since there had been a drink sitting on the pickup counter for a while. The barista told me he would remake my drink and even offered the drink to another customer instead of discarding it. However, he continued making other orders before remaking mine. Just as I was about to ask for a refund, I finally received my coffee. I understand that mistakes happen, especially during busy periods, but better communication and order tracking would have made a big difference. Unfortunately, my first experience left a bad impression. As much as I liked the atmosphere, I won't be returning, and I can't recommend this coffee shop based on the service I received.

While we were disappointed there was no cold brew, the iced americano alternative was perfectly good (STRONG). When we asked for double espresso in the large iced americano, they informed us that the it already includes 6 shots- woah! We downgraded to 4 shots in a medium cup, but recommend keeping it in a large cup. Also tried their signature "scmuffin" and it was yummier than it looked! There's a good amount of seating available outside. I'd consider coming back as a stop while taking a trip north. I'd usually look for more of a craft roaster, but there doesn't seem to be anything like that in the area. Also their menu is HUGE. I imagine if you're into smoothies or more flavorful lattes that this would be up your alley.

I asked if any of their smoothies had espresso; she said if I wanted an ice cream with coffee drink, to get their list of blended drinks. I asked if it was actual ice cream as the menu said it was shaved ice. She said yes; I again asked as shaved ice is different than ice cream when she replied it was like a frappe. I stepped away to call my husband for a sec since they didn't have cold brew (I let her know); I came back to the register and she didn't return! There were two other workers, and no one came over. So, I left. They absolutely need better service and to better train their workers.

I was intrigued because they had Dutch crunch bread and as everyone knows, we all love that Dutch crunch! Unfortunately Marin doesn't have many places with Dutch crunch roll sandwiches, seems like sourdough is more popular on this side of the bridge. Finding the storefront wasn't too hard. It's located up a hill next to an urgent care. Parking was fairly easy in the structure. I ordered the Hot Chicken Club sandwich ($11.45) on Dutch crunch bread. To start, the bread was okay. Wasn't exactly crunchy but nothing like a quick oven bake at home can't fix. The sandwich lists- breaded chicken, bacon, pepper jack cheese, lettuce (romaine), tomato and chipotle aioli. I was sort of expecting the sandwich to have a bigger spice kick because of the "hot" in the name of the sandwich. It wasn't spicy at all unfortunately. I did appreciate that it was not over saucy and it was easy to handle the sandwich when eating. I was half expecting the breaded chicken to be crispy but it wasn't sadly. There was only 1 piece of bacon on the sandwich. The ratio of meat (chicken and bacon) to veggie (tomato and romaine) was fairly even. For the price and size, it was okay. It is a tad smaller than the sandwiches I've seen at other places like Michael's sourdough. The storefront was fairly large with lots of into and outdoor seating. The two people working seemed nice. Hopefully they have more influx of customers due to having urgent care nearby. Due to the location, I feel like not many people know about this place since it's not the easiest to get to if you don't have a car. Overall, I may come back and try another sandwich in the future if I'm nearby but wouldn't go out of my way for it.
