    Sausage and spinach omelette
    John H.

This is the restaurant in my hotel, downtown Annapolis Hilton Garden Inn. As a Diamond member I get free breakfast and it's usually a B- buffet. This, however, was an order off the menu experience which was even better. I had a sausage and spinach omelette, which was very good. I'm not much of a potatoes a breakfast guy, so I left those alone. Great service, plenty of coffee, no complaints.

    The flat bread

Stopped in after work for happy hour apps and drinks with a few colleagues. The service was pretty good-it was quiet when we got there, and our waitress let us sit in the dining room as there were no seats at the bar which was kind of her. Aside from having to ask for water, she was attentive and answered our questions about the menu and food offerings based on our needs. We ordered 2 old fashioneds, the brussel sprouts (w no bacon) and the flatbread. The food and drink were incredible! The sprouts were crispy and the flavor with the blue cheese was complex and the perfect combo of salty and savory. The flatbread was crispy and light and we all enjoyed it as well-comes as 6 slices. The drinks were great and the maple syrup was a great replacement for the sugar. The 'ice' was really a frozen cube of an orange slice and a cherry-points for creativity. I would come to this place, def a solid happy hour! The entrance is accessible, crowd was pretty business orientated since it's in a hotel by downtown, but the ambiance was relaxed and comfortable.

Really impressed with the elevated food at Leo - ambiance was elegant and service friendly. Though we sat at a table, we'd note that bar looked great! We didn't have to wait long as a family with a baby was about to leave. I looked around and the space is modern and clean. There is a bar area that is well lit and inviting if I was dining by myself. The menu isn't your typical Italian menu. There was a chicken fried tofu appetizer, steak frites, smash burgers and snakehead. I don't know what snakehead is so ai went with the catfish carbonara, my friend had the steak frites and my other friend had the Brussel sprouts appetizer and pear salad. We also shared a bottle of red wine. Our dessert was a deconstructed sundae with cannoli bits and delicious. Our server was Brendan and he was fantastic. He answered our questions and checked in and chatted with us for a bit. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Tucked into a…read moreconverted bungalow in Eastport, it feels more like a friend's cozy cottage than a typical restaurant, with a warm, lived‑in vibe that fits Annapolis perfectly. The food is the star: creative farm‑to‑table plates and some of the best brick‑oven pizzas anywhere, with toppings that go way beyond the usual (think spicy soppressata, wild boar meatballs, and seasonal veggies that actually taste fresh). The salads and small plates are just as strong, so it's easy to build a table full of things to share. The wine list is thoughtful and fairly priced, with interesting bottles plus solid by‑the‑glass options, and staff who clearly know their stuff and enjoy guiding you to something you'll like. Service is friendly, efficient, and unfussy, even when the place is slammed. Be ready for a wait--there's usually a line before they open and they don't take reservations, but the experience is worth a little planning ahead. Between the food, wine, and atmosphere, Vin 909 is an easy go‑to for date night, out‑of‑town guests, or anytime you want a meal that feels special without being formal.

We each ordered the Monkey Smoke (Penicillin), and she ordered a small plate with avocado and lump crabmeat, which we ordered just in time as the kitchen closed between 3 and 4. The standout of the day for me was the old fashioned, made with plum bitters. One of the best old fashioneds I've ever had. The servers were all very friendly and quick. We will definitely come back the next time we're in town, and definitely recommend this to others.

We had a really nice dinner here…read more We tried the mushroom appetizer and the old bay pierogies both were really good. The ribeye steak was fantastic and the sauce complimented it really well. For drinks we had the rum and gin. The gin drink was fruity and my favorite out of the two. The desserts I would give probably 3-ish stars. We had the almond cake and it didn't have much of a taste and the whip cream that came on the side must have been accidentally mixed with something that had processed onions because it had a really strong onion aftertaste. Our waiter was really nice and gave really good recommendations. Overall it was a great experience and we will be back to try out their lunch

Crispy Kale - this is very popular here and we really enjoyed it. The cumin yogurt really brought it together. Pickled Squid - Not what we expected but I actually really liked this dish. We did also order the Coconut Panna Cotta for dessert. The raspberry was pretty prominent here and wasn't as custard like as expected, just a little too soft but the flavor otherwise wasn't bad. Overall, everything was pretty good and I would visit again to try other items on their menu.
