Great service. Great food. If I'm being honest, the corn flakes French toast had major potential but fell short. (I think they missed an opportunity to sweeten it with some cinnamon and sugar, perhaps. It was not sweet like French toast should be, in my opinion.) And we didn't like the (pricey!) Millionaires Bacon - it was thick like a ham slice (not crispy like bacon) and it was sweet but also spicy - but not in a good way. (If that makes sense...) Omg! If I could travel across the GG Bridge every weekend for breakfast I would. This place has excellent service, and what can I say about the food? Not enough. Everything we had was delicious. Millionaire bacon is oh so good, their hot pot is full of flavors, Benedicts and waffles. Highly recommend this little spot. Was wanting something different while housesitting for a friend in Sonoma County so yelped breakfast places in Marin. This spot looked good, reviews were good and Mill Valley is a nice place to stroll around and visit. Unfortunately this spot definitely did not live up to any of our expectations. The food was so overpriced for the quality I was appalled. The strawberries were not fresh or ripe, the cheese on top of my scramble was pre shredded from a bag, and the only jelly for the one piece of bread that came with my $20 scramble was those square smuckers strawberry packets you find at diners. All for the low low price of $75 for two people. I do not mind paying for quality food, I love a good breakfast. This felt like a diner breakfast with Sysco quality ingredients. Definitely not what the reviews led us to expect, I felt like we were in a completely different restaurant than the one described in all of these glowing reviews! read more

Check your bill here. I ordered two eggs with millionaire bacon which was supposed to be $11 and I specifically said no potatoes. They brought me two eggs with millionaire bacon and potatoes and toast and doubled my bill. I was very polite and brought it to their attention and the server acknowledged that I wouldn't be charged for the potatoes. Instead they charge me for everything separate five dollars for a piece of toast, $10 for millionaire bacon and five dollars for two eggs. It was supposed to be, per the menu, $11 for two eggs and millionaire bacon. Not a big deal, I like this place in their food is good and it wasn't worth the hassle to bring it to their attention twice. So, I just paid the bill. Again not that big of a deal. Pros: greeted right away, asked if wanted to order a drink, given menu right away, came back to take order promptly. Cons: eggs watery - cooked but liquid from vegetables that should have been sautéed first or at least had the excess liquid poured off, air inside was chilly - would have been warmer outside and I was wearing a sweater and put on a hat - perhaps the air conditioning was on - the couple next to me noted it right when they say down. The waitress didn't check back to see if everything was ok, just brought the bill. I had the Athenian scramble which tasted good except for the aforementioned wateriness and canned sliced olives. We both just had the Loco Moco, which was the best ever! I especially want more or less organic, the beef is Japanese Wagyu, so close. My friend got the Bloody Mary, which he also gave a top rating to. It was a bit cold outside, but not the fault of the restaurant. Fast service, good food, excellent staff. I stopped in here yesterday on the way back from a hike and our whole group was famished! It was very busy, but luckily we found a seat right away. The place is small and cozy, but with a ton of windows and light colors, it is also very bright and sunny. Based on the previous reviews of my fellow yelpers, I ordered the breakfast tacos and I was not disappointed! The bacon, sausage "meat" of the taco was so tasty, topped with scrambled eggs and served with two types of salsa. Also, after asking the waiter which side ot get, I went with the potato medley (a variety of sweet potatoes roasted with rosemary). And of course I had to get a side of the Millionaire Bacon. Basically candied meat. Delicious, decadent, candied meat. YUM! My kids also dug their Mickey Mouse pancakes, whcih came with bacon and scrambled eggs. Some of the stuff that was not as awesome was the price! I know, I know - it's the bay. But STILL! Lunch for three adults and two kids should not cost $91 (before tip). Great food quality! Good mix of flavors with Asian taste. Service was ok, the lady was almost rude or maybe just busy. Prices are very decent, it's a more of a brunch place with many omelettes. The ambiance is nice and relaxing, good background music, perfect for a Sunday brunch or lunch. I took the Sprunch salad, the dressing was quite sweet, not so filling though. The breaded shrimps were a little too fried and hard to bite on. My friend had the spicy ahi tuna it was alright not too tasty. My other friend had the panini with crab and shrimp it was the best and you get to choose between salad and fries. I was looking for a nice brunch spot on my way home to SF from a little getaway and this spot was perfect! Decent location with a good amount of parking around for brunch time on Easter Sunday. Probably not ideal for large groups, but I'm sure the staff would accommodate a larger party and make it work. The service was quick and efficient and you can show that there's great teamwork with the staff, which helps make it for a pleasant visit from the customer. Breakfast? Lunch? Brunch?! Count me in!!! I was on my way to SF and decided to take a little surprise detour to take my mom out for birthday brunch! I arrived around 11:30 and there was a waitlist forming! No worries though because it took less than 15 minutes before a table for two was available. Brunch, my favorite meal of the day! Why? Because I get the best of both worlds and today was that day! Kitchen Sunnyside is the cutest place ever. I love how cozy it is with the decor and how it's surrounded by little antique and specialty shops. The menu that they offer is massive! There's really a little something for everyone!! This is maybe one of the best breakfast/brunch spot that I've had in a while. I ordered the Hemingway Benedict (smoked salmon) with hash and their veggie burger with fries! Let me just say that I should've eaten a little slower instead of inhaling everything within seconds. LOL. Okay maybe not seconds but I did just take bite after bite and was not in the mood to talk because every bite I took was a little piece of heaven. I loved that the veggie burger had a nice mild goat cheese which gave it a lot of flavor and texture. Arugula, sprouts, and fresh veggies helped lightened the dish up and made it maybe one of the best veggie burger I've had since being a vegetarian. The Benedict with hash was also amazing! I don't think that I've had a perfectly poached egg like this ever! Service was a little slow due to how busy they were but I don't care because the staff and their happy smiles made up for it! This is definitely a place that I'm going to come back to or make a detour for whenever I'm in the area! Anyone who gets the chance should too! Never been to Mill Valley but it seems like the NY Hamptons of the Bay Area. Kitchen Sunnyside is located in a small town main street 15 mins north of SF. Street metered parking is available for $1 per hour. We got there around 11 am on a Saturday and luckily didn't have to wait at all. Ordered the florentine eggs benedict with hashbrowns and the citricon frenchtoast with mixed fruit. Wow, the eggs benedict was the best I've ever had, this wasn't your typical egg, spinach, and tomato combo, it had a local, farm to table taste to it, and the hashbrowns weren't your typical basic AF ones, it was fresh and flavorful. On top of that, the server was very welcoming, warm, and friendly; it makes you feel like you're at a friend's home. To top it all of, the food was amazing. My daughter had suggested this restaurant since she had gone there with a friend and his family. We were in Mill Valley for a week so it was the perfect time to go try it. The millionaires bacon definitely melts in your mouth. Service was great! Prices were too high for our liking, but it's understandable given the rent in Mill Valley.
