Honestly....it was interesting. The dates were chewy and sort of like a dried fig that went well with the feta and mozzarella cheeses. The red onion and cilantro...pretty nice complimentary flavors too. What sort of ruined it was too much very sweet, syrupy balsamic glaze on top. A tiny drizzle might have been ok but it was pretty drippy and really, too sweet. I'm glad I finally tried the pizza. Lots of good elements in there but that basalmic glaze was overwhelming. I will not order this pizza again. Also, the dough is flat. It was almost more like a flatbread. I prefer a nice pizza dough that does puff up a bit with lightness and good, crusty pillowy edges. The fronter counter girl was very nice and brought us everything we needed in advance of the food (plates, napkins and condiments). This was better than the last time we went to Sabatino's, got our food and sat there with no forks until we asked. I have high hopes for the future of this business on our Valley!

Happy to report that he is no longer with the company. The young man at the front was extremely welcoming and changed our whole experience from the time we walked in. Definitely better than previous times. Isabel was our waitress and she was wonderful. She was very personable and you could tell she really cared about her customers. I tried the cheese tortellini fungi this time around and it was the best dish I have ever eaten here. I have also tried the chicken piccata, which is an excellent choice. The short rib entrée is very juicy and tender, and I highly recommend that also. The Caesar salad is served with anchovies on top which I love. And don't even get me started on the bread service. All in all today was a fantastic visit at Piero's Pizza Vino. From the friendly welcome at the front door to the excellent service by Isabel. Upon arrival, we were informed that happy hour is only available in the bar area, which we understood completely. However, the bar area exclusively features high-top tables, which my father is unable to use due to his disability. When I explained this and requested a low-top table as an accommodation, we were told that no alternative could be provided. I want to respectfully but firmly note that failing to provide accessible seating options for guests with disabilities is not only a gap in hospitality -- it may also raise concerns under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), which requires places of public accommodation to make reasonable modifications for individuals with disabilities. I hope you will take this feedback seriously and make the necessary changes. We drove down the street to another establishment who gladly made the accommodations.

We had a reservation here last Tuesday to try their "Restaurant Week" menu…read more We pulled into the parking lot a few minutes before reservation and there were only two cars in the parking lot so we drove around the back thinking that's where we're supposed to park but no cars there either and we were a bit confused. When we pulled back around to the front, there were some yellow pylons near the front of the entrance and some garbage on one of the outdoor tables and it looked very dark inside as if the lights were off, we figured they had to have been closed so we drove off to have dinner elsewhere. A bit later, we get a notice from OpenTable that we did not check in so I called the restaurant the following day to ask them what happened, the nice young lady that answered the phone told us that they were open at the time of our reservation. If they were indeed open, what a turn off to have only two cars in the parking lot, pylons in front and trash stacked on the outdoor table, I can't imagine what the inside would look like or the kitchen.
