    Sweet & Spicy Fried Chicken

Friendly service with a smile :) Bulgogi rice dish was flavorful and yummy. Sweet and spicy fried chicken was more on the sweet side, a great match with the savory bulgogi. I'd definitely come back :)

Friendly service.. cute decor inside, upbeat music. I ordered the bulgogi Sandwich.. loaded with ingredients. Nice find in DTLA.

OMG--I can't believe I just discovered this place, and I'm about to move out of LA! Bann is a small, super cute spot that's perfect for a quick dine-in meal or grabbing something to go. The service is fast--I didn't have to wait long at all for my order, which is always a plus. I've ordered from Bann twice now--once through DoorDash and today for carryout. The first time, I got the spicy chicken bowl with extra chicken. It was so good! I wish it had a little more kick, but the flavor was on point--even when I reheated it the next day. Solid 10/10. Today, I tried the beef bulgogi with extra beef, and wow--Bann nailed it! The flavor and texture were perfect. I love that sweet bulgogi flavor, and they really delivered. I would say there were a few too many onions for my taste, but still a strong 9/10. The only downside for me is the white rice--it's a bit too mushy and clumpy. But honestly, that's a small thing compared to how tasty everything else has been. I'll definitely be back at least once more before I leave in two weeks!

The place is small, yet nice, tucked away in DTLA. The service is always polite (it's my second visit), and the food is good. My coworkers split a bulgogi sandwich and they loved it. I enjoyed my chicken as well. Had a great flavor. I myself like crunchy chicken even when it's sauced up. They nailed it. I'm a man of color and they know how to do chicken! Lol. If you ever need a quick bite to eat for lunch, this is a great place for you!

Food is so delicious and the owners are always very sweet as well. Def give this spot a try! Love the soy garlic chicken it's so crispy can't go wrong with the sauce either. Felt adventurous and tried beef grilled cheese today and it was good! I normally opt for the kimchi grilled cheese but the beef wasn't bad!

The owner has always so lovely. I've neverrrr had bad food here.. And the shop is quite homey. I literally always recommend people to get the bulgogi sandwich if they like fusion food... I would say it's the star of the menu. Everyone I take there end up going back with friends with their own :)) Parking is tough but it's downtown LA so expected. If you're here on the weekend, give them a visit because the owner said it gets really slow on the weekend.

I love how clean and empty the inside was, though seating is limited if you come with more people. They have good food options, self-serve water, and a variety of sauces and drinks. I tried the banana coffee, it was fun to try, but I wouldn't get it again. The beef bulgogi sandwich was great, but the braised beef grilled cheese was the star. Absolutely delicious on sourdough with the sauce. The strawberry drink was also incredibly fresh and tasty. I'd go back just for that grilled cheese. Parking can be a hassle, but the food makes up for it.

This is a little hidden gem for sure!!! I ordered the Braised Beef Grilled Cheese and it was probably one of the best I've had. The beef had amazing flavor, was super tender and was paired with an amazing sauce. My girlfriend ordered the Bulgogi Beef bowl and she loved it. The restaurant is small but, there is one large table that can seat about 6. I would highly recommend trying this place. I can't wait to come back, their service was also excellent!

    Beef bulgogi sandwich

Looking for a new dish to try via delivery, I found the beef bulgogi sandwich from KitchenBann. At roughly $15 at the time for this review, I found it to be a good value pending the flavor and size. Upon receiving the sandwich, I found that the size is slightly larger than average for with a good balance of beef to the other toppings. The flavor was outstanding! A great blend of the bulgogi sauce to the avocado and other vegetables made this sandwich so delicious. I would definitely buy 2 for a big lunch for a future order!!

This is my second time eating from this location. I had the Bulgogi Bowl and the sweet and spicy chicken. As you can see from the pictures, you do get a nice portion of rice, veggies and the bulgogi. Which has a good flavor. Nothing amazing that brings me to my knees and gives me a revelation. It's fine. Fine enough that I would come back to eat that. The real winner is the sweet and spicy boneless Korean fried chicken. That side alone is delicious and worth it. I didn't see anything on the menu that includes this item as part of the bowl but they should make a rice bowl with this chicken as the main ingredient and some veggies. For the price it is not bad at all. I would recommend this place for some pretty good Korean rice bowls and I would come back again. Pretty solid spot for the money.

Stopped by here to have a nice homestyle meal . I called ahead to ensure the order would be ready. It took about 15 minutes and it was ready by the time I got there. I had the shredded beef galbi and it was quite a large portion. I had enough for lunch and dinner. The staff was so nice and friendly. Looking forward to coming back again to try other dishes.

The menu was pretty extensive, which we appreciated. Lots of options to choose from (apps, handhelds, salads, pastas, entrees, etc.) and since we're foodies, we ordered a ton of items. Here's what we tried: KFC (Korean fried chicken)- very tasty and crispy. Chicken was moist and it came with a sweet/garlic dipping sauce. Plus a side of radish. This would have been great with a beer. Bulgogi quesadilla- we really enjoyed this app. It came with a dipping sauce that paired well with the sweetness of the bulgogi. Highly recommend this one! Toowoomba pasta- . This was our favorite dish. It's one of those dishes that you'll want to replicate at home. Beef & cheese- this dish was good, but the meat was overcooked. We were also hoping that the meat would be more tender. 7/10 Fries & sweet potato fries- came out a bit cold, so we had to send the fries back to be recooked.

Grilled branzino was spot on. Pork chop tasted good, solid flavor, but the center felt was cooked through and not as tender as I had hoped. Tomato salad was fresh. Fried cauliflower, nice crunch. Tapioca spaghetti was interesting (even though there's no tapioca, right?) but had a small complaint that the noodle was a little hard. Some like, some don't. Crispy potatoes - crunchy on the outside, soft inside. It hit the spot, one of the best crispy potatoes that I can remember. Bing butter & honey was a favorite too. Drinks were solid, ube pina colada didn't taste as good as it looks, but it's a lot of purple fun. Yuzu lemonade was refreshing. The missing 1 star is a mix of small gripes: the pork chop (a little dry inside), hard noodle, ube pina colada looked better than it tasted, and it's a little pricey for the amount of food. Would definitely come back, I wanted to try the pork shoulders next!

Service: Jaden was our server and he was attentive with checking in on us. We had ordered a steak, but did not receive a steak knife. We tried to get by with the butter knife at the table, but obviously it did not pan out well. Our server was occupied with another table, so I was patiently waiting to make eye contact. Miraculously another server saw my desperate eyes and before I could even raise my hand or say "excuse me" to flag her down, she came right over with a SMILE no less (!!!) and asked how she could help. That level of attentiveness was very much appreciated. Even the tall white guy came to clear our plates. I don't know what he does, because at the end of the meal, we saw him hauling in and hand-carrying 5 bags of ice. The level of hustle across the team is obvious and helps round out the experience of dining out and choosing to spend money on a dining experience. Even the bus boys were attentive with filling our water cups, which was quite appreciated. Can't say any more good things about the service and truly appreciated our server Jaden because he seemed so personable to have a genuine conversation while running around. Brunch consisted of a carving station, sushi, ramen, and desserts. Much of the food is ordered off the menu and they have a very large offering. Standout items were the teriyaki glazed salmon, branzino, Shanghai fried rice, spicy tuna tartare, and HK fried noodle. To my surprise, the ramen was also very decent.
