Been here twice, almost just see if the first time was a fluke...it wasn't. This little place, hidden in the lobby of a hotel, is fighting above its weight. A gem, just across from The Wiltern! There are places nearby with lines...skip them, come here! Bulgogi quesadilla? Amazing. Kimchi steak taco? Not soggy, steak is lean, pico de gallo is perfect counterpoint. Street sandwich? Comfort food. Tortilla pizza? Fantastic (but get the sriracha mayo and Tabasco to accentuate the positive). Beverages? Dynamite. Whiskey with fresh strawberry puree? As good as any tiki bar. First off, I like the ambiance. It's very pink, very girly, very aesthetic. I love how it's decorated throughout. Lots of potential for cute photos. This was one of the places that we had on a list that we were considering for event venues. It was much smaller than I expected but it could still work for our party. We originally weren't planning to eat here since we had other places to check out but my friends already had a table so we came by to say hi. They tried the food but I didn't so I will skip that part here. Service unfortunately felt very awkward and weird. This takes away from the ambiance in my opinion. We did consider ordering something like dessert (but weren't too keen on the menu) in the short time we were there as a courtesy but it felt very forced and in hindsight would have taken too much time. It just didn't feel warm or friendly at all. Same vibes from hotel staff too (it's inside the Garden Suite Hotel which makes parking slightly easier compared to the rest of the area). FOOD: I got the street sandwhich and my friend got the shrimp burger. Pretty good overall! I did feel like my sandwich was pretty small but when I tried finishing it, I barely could! Enchant LA is located inside a hotel and definitely delivers on that aesthetic LA ambiance--cute enough for a few Instagram shots, especially with the trendy decor and lighting. We ordered drinks (Lychee Margarita and Lavender Highball) and for food, the LA galbi set, and the seafood cioppino pasta. Unfortunately, both dishes were pretty mid. The galbi was on the tougher side and lacked seasoning, while the seafood pasta was disappointing for the price--only one scallop and not much depth in flavor. Service was also a downside. Even though the restaurant wasn't completely full, everything moved slowly, and it was hard to flag down servers when we needed simple things like a knife or extra to-go bags. Came on a Saturday with 2 friends before a show at the Wiltern. Show was at 5, made a reservation at 3. It's a perfect place to eat right before a show. It's right across the street from the Wiltern, down one block inside a hotel. The restaurant is in the front. It got busier as it got closer to show time but not crowded. Ambiance is cool and trendy. Some of the chairs were stained and dirty ( looked nicer in the photos), but still nice overall. Food was amazing! We got the kimchi pasta, kimchi fried rice, bulgogi quesadilla, and bao buns. The cocktails were also worth it! Not too sweet and definitely had enough alcohol in them. I recommend the lechee margarita. The reason I took off one star: WARNING: they automatically add a 18% tip to all bills, which I'm totally fine with. However, this isn't something they told me when given the bill, so I wrote in a 20% tip (I know my fault for not looking closer at the bill). Less than one minute later, I realized what happened after looking closer at the bill and I waved her back over and told her what happened. She said she had already rang it up, but she could refund me if I want. We were already in a hurry to get to the show so I told her just to keep it. The point wasn't the money what I don't like is that she quickly added the extra tip without checking with me first, probably knowing I had no idea they had already charged me a tip. First time at Enchant, and it's a wonderful find just one block from the Wiltern Theater. It's in the lobby of a hotel, but that isn't clear from its website -- no matter, it doesn't feel like a hotel restaurant in the slightest. The decor is a bright, whimsical, "enchanted" setting, with pinks and neon and walls of roses. Truly lovely. The music was unexpectedly "dance club" in nature, but it was kept at a lower volume, so it was more party-like than intrusive. The eclectic nature of the design and music makes sense because the menu is also a very creative fusion of Asian and Western cuisines, not merely from dish to dish, but within the dishes themselves. Bulgogi Quesadillas and Pastas with creamy ginger sauces. Very clever. And much of what we saw served looked and smelled quite good. My wife ordered one of the pasta dishes: the Toowoomba Pasta, which was Sauteed shrimps garlic, onion, and spicy creamy sauce, served with egg pappardelle noodle. A rich, creamy and enjoyably spicy dish with good flavor and a very satisfying finish. I ordered the Castle Ttoekbokki, sweet and spicy combination of Korean rice cake, glass noodle, beef brisket, serano pepper and julienned deep fried fish cake, all in a black bean sauce. This was also very good -- the brisket was thinly sliced and tender, the noodles and rice cakes perfectly bouncy, and the sauce had just the right punch. I didn't dislike the fish cake slivers, but there were too many of them, and I'd rather have had more of the other elements. But this is a small complaint. I chose this place because my friend, who came with me, recently had vocal cord surgery and still has trouble speaking, so we needed a quiet spot to talk. Both drinks were incredibly sweet. We asked for a straw, but the waitress brought us another Beach Blues and charged us for it. We didn't want to get her in trouble so we just paid for it. this is honestly one of my personal favorite spots in ktown. i love the interior so much - it has so much character and the theme/design with the flowers and lighting/seating honestly makes me feel very princess-y. i've been here three times for dinner and each time, it wasn't busy so it honestly felt really nice and more intimate. the servers are always very sweet! my favorite here will forever be the bulgogi quesadilla fries. this fusion of cuisines is genuinely such a great burst of flavor with the perfect crunch and then the softness of the cheese. it's even amazing when heated up the next day since i didn't finish it all there. the kimchi fries are a good addition and portion! the strawberry matcha honestly was not great, and i would not recommend. the strawberry syrup taste was stronger than the matcha and it just tasted like milk, but i liked the aesthetic and the cup that it came in. parking was easy since you can park in the garage for free if you tell them that you're going to enchant! watch out for the steepness when you're going down though. overall such a great fusion spot that i find myself coming back to. read more

It's on the first floor of a hotel and a fairly open space that serves up some pretty darn good korean fusion food. Enchanted yet? Let's get to it then. The kimchi pasta was nice and creamy and packed with flavor on flavor. Kimchi is present obviously but not overpowering since the creaminess of the pasta dilutes it down in a positive way. Each bite just left me wanting another, so yeah, this is definitely worth ordering. Next up, the bulgogi quesadilla. They're heftier than you think. It's packed with bulgogi and the cheese is, well, a wonderful complement to the bulgogi. Yeah, it just works. Mixing a little bit of korean and mexican works out pretty good, who'd have imagined? Try it with the sauce for a little extra flavor but it's also good by itself. As the caffeine riddled addict I am, I had to get a Banananut latte which was reminiscent of banana milk but mixed with a latte. It's simple yet profound in how good it was. I'd happily get another if I wasn't trying to watch my caffeine intake. Reservations are recommended but not required and parking is mostly street parking. So all in all, what do you think? This spot gets high marks for its location inside a hotel across from The Wiltern and creative Asian fusion menu. We popped in here before a show and it hit the spot. Bright, spacious and friendly. The corn appetizer was 10/10, almost like a Mac and cheese except with corn. The coffee was fabulous. Not that special: The "torched" Caesar salad -- a flame-seared head of Romaine (not sure what the point was) and chicken salad -- lovely but ho hum. I was very shocked at just how delicious and flavorful the plates were!! We were quickly seated for an early dinner, but we also had a reservation in advance. They are probably more busy in the morning since this spot is in a hotel lobby. Inside is small but with some cozy couches set up and the maximum amount a group of people can sit together would probably just be 4 due to the furniture. I thought it was cool that there was a private room in the back with a group of people using the space. They were able to play music from the TV, which was a bit funny because they were playing music different from the vibes the place gave. I recommend the birria quesadilla because it was so thick and delicious!! We got the fried calamari (my go-to order is fried calamari) and I was very satisfied by it. The kimchi pasta was creamy and wasn't heavily crunchy or spicy, which I enjoyed. The pork belly steak had apple slices on it that tasted good when mixed together. I was pretty shocked though to see in small font at the menu that there was already an included 18% gratuity charge to dining here.. which was something I could not understand. Our service of the day was just getting our orders taken and food served to us. It was pretty chill with only one other table and while we were waiting for the food, I just couldn't shake off that thought. Super nice ambiance. You get transported into this very serene place. Def "instragramable". It's inna small hotel that can be easily missed. It's literally on Wilshire and Ingram. They provide free parking in the same building. Service was good, we were seated immediately. Apps with drinks was out right away.
