I've had patties from several restaurants in LA and San Diego, and I must say these patties are delectable *and* affordable! I ordered an assortment of the beef, jerk chicken, and veggie patties, as well as the "Classic Aussie style Chicken, Leek and Mushroom pie," and the "Curry Steak Aussie Pie." You really can't beat the price of these patties for the quality you receive: moist and tangy chicken, unctuous beef, and the veggie pattie was brimming with a softly spiced mixture of corn, leeks, and other greens. My students devoured these patties with gratitude! After class, I went home with my remaining haul that survived The Hungry Student Onslaught™ and threw the Aussie pies into my air fryer to reheat them. The experience I had with these pies was near-eroticism; after each bite I'd stop and stare at its juicy contents tucked between flakey layers of delicate crust with the unspoken inquiry buzzing in my mind: "HOW are these patties *this* flavorful? And, more importantly, WHY didn't I buy more of these for myself? Ughhhh." The mushroom! The leeks! The curry steak! Heaven help me. Saunter, don't walk, over to Patties N Tingz! Yes, there's basically no parking nearby, but pull an LA Resident move, turn your hazard lights on, and risk the annoyance of the LAPD circling downtown blocks in order to grab these patties immediately. It costs $16.45 (includes taxes) at the time of this writing. The pita bread alone is enough to fill you up. It comes with 1 chicken kebab and all the side orders you see. If you want another kebab, it will cost more, but again, you probably wont be able to finish it all. Service is kind of slow, about 10-15 minute wait. But during peak lunch hour times, its expected. Plenty of places to dine in and eat. Free water and utensils on the side bar. I go here often and highly recommend this place for anyone who wants decent and fairly priced Mediterranean food.

The reason for the 0/5 stars is the service ordering was odd, no one greeted me, the lights were off when I ordered for a good while. The cookies took way longer when they could be pre-made to quicken the customer experience. More visibility of the windows to see the actual process of all the food would help customers feel rest assured basic food safety and prevention of cross contamination. And lastly, good customer service of all guests. We want good food, we want excellent cookies. That was not my experience, in any of the process. 7/20 update: As a customer, waiting 30 minutes to 2 hours for 6 cookies is way too long. Even if they are the best damn cookies I've ever had, no way am I waiting outside that long for them. They had some salsa verde available in a squeezy bottle, too, and I definitely recommend adding a bit of that as well. It's pretty mild but tasty. Everything was fresh and delicious. A bit of a wait, at least at this event, but worth it! Just the right amount of food! And they serve it in a to-go container so you don't have to worry if you do have leftovers.
