I would rate them 0 stars if I could. Read the reviews (wish I had) and save yourself the trouble. My kitchen designer was a barista just months before being assigned to my major remodel (it was a total gut job) and she was totally unqualified. They mismeasured my island and I had paid for pieces that they told me I need but the pieces were wrong. There was no accountability from the Kitchens Unlimited team and they basically STOLE almost $2000 from me because they refused to take accountability for THEIR mis-measurement. THEN the pieces that I did receive showed up damaged - not once, not twice but THREE times. I am most angry about the refusal to pay back or give as credit the $2k i was out. There were so many other issues as well - feel free to message me for more detail. I would avoid this place. There are so many better options. read more

Buyer Beware Tiffany and team redesigned our kitchen area in a major remodel. We began to notice warping on our kitchen cabinets within the first year and quickly alerted her. After much back and forth, they did replace a few. Unfortunately, this deterioration continued on other cabinets as well. The communication with Tiffany was extremely difficult and I don't recall her proactively notifying us of an update. We were constantly following up with her, as we were forced to communicate through Kitchens Unlimited. When all is said and done, Merit denied our claims and advised the issues were due to "neglect." We have no kids, no pets and take good care of our home. Merit was willing to offer a slight discount to replace the cabinets, but we've lost all confidence in their products. What we've learned the hard way is the warranty is covered by Merit and they are Canadian-based operation, so there's virtually no means of addressing our warranty from a legal perspective. I would highly advise anyone to be aware of this, as it's not something Kitchens Unlimited shares with you when signing the agreement. In fact, Tiffany wrote "lifetime warranty" on our contract. It is meaningless and deceiving. I wouldn't wish this cabinet situation on anyone. It was a terrible experience that dragged on for an incredibly long time. We will be forced to replace all cabinet fronts. I would highly recommend anyone considering to make a different choice. read more

UNBELIEVABLY AMAZING KITCHEN DESIGN AND AFTER-SALES SERVICE! Tiffany and her stellar team redesigned my kitchen ten years ago, and I still absolutely love it! Tiffany recommended important functional and aesthetic changes that have made such a difference to our family and friends' enjoyment of our kitchen and adjacent "kid office" complete with storage for crafts, artwork, and paperwork. I would also like to rave about Kitchen Unlimited's truly incredible after-sales support. This week, ten years after our kitchen project, I emailed Tiffany to see if she could find some obscure replacement parts for items in the kitchen that have worn down through heavy use. She replied the same day, and is having one of the parts dropped off at our home today. INCREDIBLE SERVICE!! I love this company and can't recommend it highly enough. read more

I'm very sad I have to write this review. I was so excited to get help with my kitchen. I met with a designer who was lovely and really sweet but unfortunately there were some red flags after I agreed to buy a package and paid for it in advance. I was very clear all I wanted was kitchen design that I will not commit to using their cabinets or labor I just wanted drawings and I paid a large amount for their medium package knowing all I was going to use was the design aspect. I was looking for kitchen expertise and the designer didn't know what a microwave drawer was. Drawings had wrong measurements on them and when I asked for redraws to remove an item I would got the same drawings back. I had asked for kitchen design for my whole kitchen and was told since I wasn't redoing things with their cabinet she would not draw it for me which is why I thought I was hiring her in the first place. I talked to the designer and was honest and said it was really disappointing and I wanted to part ways amicably. I have tried many times to talk to the owner and to converse with my designer to work something out that was fair. At this point I still have not talked to the owner and I'm ready to get attorneys involved. I highly recommend staying clear of this business. read more

This is my first review and I'm sad to leave it. Save yourself the trouble read these reviews. A lot of bad experiences here. I feel thankful I ended up not going with them and thank God. We recently relocated to the East Bay. We wanted to redo our bathroom and I called Kitchens Unlimited. They are unprofessional, have no idea what they are doing and are unkind and did not listen to us at and what we wanted at all. The "designer" assigned to us had no experience AT ALL. PLEASE read the reviews before choosing this business for your remodel....I didn't but wish I had. Tiffany is so unprofessional, unresponsive and once she gets your money she ghosts you. If there is a mistake that is her or her business' fault - there is NO accountability OR atrempt to make it right. THE CUSTOMER is the one who financially pays. The lack of integrity of Kitchens Unlimited is incredible. How they are still in business I don't know. There are FAR MORE 1 star reviews than there should be. The only option a customer has is to take them through small claims court - I did not because I didn't want to deal with it but after my experience and connecting with several other VERY unsatisfied and disappointed customers I know several others have had to go this route. Tiffany should be absolutely ashamed of herself....but I assure you she is not. Do not be her next victim. You have been warned!! read more

I would give zero stars if I could. I'm very sad to write this review as our experience was just terrible and all should beware of this owner! I am echoing other reviews that the owner, Tiffany Pociecha, does not respond back to emails or phone calls and there is no accountability for design issues and problems. For our kitchen project the design and measurements were wrong, some of the order and cabinets that arrived were wrong, and she never stepped in to help and correct the problems. Overall very happy and definitely recommend Tiffani. She is super nice person who readily accommodated my work schedule. Good communicator and offers assorted package price points for your design needs. She did a great job in finding the perfect unique kitchen backsplash, hardware and helping me create a beautiful space that is not boring gray and white. I am knocking one star for 3 items. 1. The general contractor recommended was horrible, see separate review. 2. Dissatisfied with quality of trash pull out, oil/spice pull out. 3. Definitely not happy with microwave placement and cabinet space for microwave. This was full gut and original counter micro was going to be used in upper cabinet shelf over newly created 6' swath of countertop. Nice prep area. But using existing unit that is 21" deep+ 3" for plug in back...meant it is right in your face as you stand there and try and prep. It stuck out 12" beyond upper cabinet. When I asked for help finding a countertop model not as deep without losing too much power, I was directed to GE spacesaver line. Which would be a great idea if I had 24" on width to work with. I only had 22". Most definitely recommend, just be sure that you really understand placement of everything. read more

Tiffany had inaccurate design plans, questionable design choices, poor communication and has not followed-up on cabinet warranty issues after over 3 months. Attached are some photos of Merit cabinetry fronts pulling away from the doors. She measured incorrectly for the appliance dimensions she was sent and I had to buy a much more expensive stove and lose the cost of our vent hood. Tiffany offered no apology or cash back. Tiffany had our contractor install crown molding that was significantly narrower and a different style than our existing crown in the same room (photo attached). She made me pay the contractor an additional $1800 to have it taken out and replaced. She installed some odd looking recessed boxes under my cabinets with curved trim that didn't match my straight-lined shaker cabinets (photo attached). She never received approval and they weren't on the plans. Now I do not have under cabinet lighting and holes in the bottoms of my cabinets. The list goes on and on and on. I don't want this to happen to anyone else! read more

BEWARE!! I am writing this review ONLY to spare others from an experience like ours...What started out with a lovely design meeting with Gina and lots of excitement for our new kitchen, ended with a cancelled kitchen cabinetry order when the delivery timeline multiplied over and over -- June delivery date became end of October. We get it, we're in a pandemic and you have to expect some delays but these weren't normal delays and when a cagey business owner (Tiffany) avoids phone calls, doesn't respond to emails and refuses to answer the most basic questions about your order, you have to wonder what is going on behind the scenes. Suffice it to say that we have every reason to believe our order, which we paid for in full at time of order, was never even placed until sometime in July. Kitchens Unlimited ultimately admitted they never even placed our hardware order. Don't be fooled. Save yourself the frustration, disappointment and months of washing dishes in your bathtub by avoiding this business completely. read more

Kitchens Unlimited Tiffany Pociecha My wife and I had Kitchens Unlimited Tiffany Pociecha handled our cabinet order early this year 2015 for our kitchen remodeling. It seemed to be going well until we gave her our money. It seemed to change immediately. She seemed to be put off by our many questions and developed bad attitude with my wife and me. Ms. Pociecha's cabinet measurements keep being off and she didn't like that being pointed out. We were very clear when we needed the cabinets to be delivered because our contractor was scheduled to come in and start the remodeling. But, when I checked in with her she remarked that she didn't promise anything about delivery. I was very upset and had to then change our start date of the remodeling because Ms. Pociecha in my opinion didn't follow through. She also did not order cabinet kickboards and didn't order enough other baseboards for the cabinets. Several invoices that Ms. Pociecha gave us were calculated wrong and had to be redone after we pointed out to her repeatedly. Ms. Pociecha lacks the ability in paying details and follow-up. We ended up having to contact Crystal Cabinet, the cabinet manufacturer, to get dates of delivery. I wouldn't recommend her services at all. On the other hand the cabinet products we did finally receive are very good in quality and workmanship (from Crystal Cabinets). read more

I had an excellent outcome using Kitchens Unlimited to help me with a remodel of my kitchen and parts of my family room. I started out working with another one of the KU designers but unfortunately she gave notice and left in the middle of the project. Initially I was very concerned about how things would be with this sudden change but then a new designer, Gina, was hired quickly and she immediately hit the ground running. There were some major snags with a fireplace insert that ended up being extremely frustrating and worrisome but Gina was fabulous at staying calm, doing an incredible national search to find a replacement that fit the space we had to work with. Every time a problem came up Gina was responsive and proactive about finding a solution. Gina was so skilled at knowing how to help me. She's knew how to ask me the right questions to find out what I wanted, she gave wonderful suggestions for me to think about and she has a creative sense of design and color. She's incredibly easy to work with, always responsive and accessible and treats you like a family member when she helps you. I feel so fortunate to have had Gina working by my side to walk me through a remodel that got caught up in delays and problems caused by the pandemic. I don't think I would have been able to have a finished product that I absolutely LOVE! If I had to do it over again or recommend Gina to anyone I definitely would. She's a blessing to work with and you can really depend on her to get the job done. She's professional, ethical and can be totally trusted to be honest and up front with information. read more
