If running isn't allowed, there should be signs or better supervision. An exposed zip tie in a kids' play area is absolutely unacceptable. Plus, what would you expect?? If it's a KID playground, there should be at least one employee or attendant nearby watching them if running wants to be avoided.

We booked a surf lesson at 2PM, but due to some timing issues had to move it to 3PM which the team was more than helpful in accommodating. It's hard to believe it can be as cold as the high 20s outside and you're inside catching waves on the FlowRider. The pool area is well heated and the water was warm. There are plenty of grandstands for people to sit and spectate. They have lockers to hold / secure your stuff while you catch waves. They have bathrooms for changing, and showers to clean up after (the only thing I wish they had was more areas in the bathrooms to hang or set your stuff down while you shower or change. Even a small foldaway table would have been helpful). Our lesson was essentially a 60 minute private since my wife and I were the only two in the session. Our instructor John was super friendly, helpful, and informative. He gave us a quick overview and had us riding waves within the first few runs, and if you wiped out (which is pretty painless and fun) he'd have some pointers for you for your next run. We each would do 3-4 runs and then trade off and as long as we had the energy John was at the ready to help catch waves. This was a total five star experience, and I can't wait to do it again! It looks like they also have GA type session where you pay the hourly fee and it's open to the public for everyone to use in turn. However, I'd highly recommend a lesson if it's your first time out. You can also rent either half or whole of the FlowRider by the hour should you have a private event or just want to hone your skills.

The parking lot was already pretty full as vehicles were parking up on the drive in. Fortunately we found a spot right away. There were all sorts of people around. From joggers and walkers to families to older folks. It's a short walk of a few blocks to the Falls. It's very scenic. Before you know it you can hear the water cascading down the mountain and you have reached the base of the falls. Feel free to take your shoes off or wear sandals as you can walk in the cool water. A lot of fun on this beautiful day. As the weather heats us, I'm sure even more folks would visit and walk in the cooling beautiful water of Bridal Falls Veil.

So I guess the 14 day rule doesn't apply to everyone! Be prepared for lots of noise from the workers early morning noise and late nights. They disregard the noise rule. So if your on vacation and want to sleep in forget it you'll be up at 4am by noisy trucks and slamming doors. Did I mention the grass that no one cuts, don't plan on eating outside at the picnic tables. The only thing I can say I loved about this park was the view and the water. Gorgeous view all the time of the mountains. Watching the boats coming and going was wonderful.

Literally we didn't get to surf at all the entire week. We called Tom and his son multiple times and never were able to trouble shoot the boat. They were completely unwilling to discuss any type of discount. DON'T RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE. TOTALLY UNREASONABLE AND UNWILLING TO WORK WITH YOU AT ALL. WE GO TO LAKE POWELL EVERY YEAR AND WILL NOT RENT FEOM THEM AGAIN.
