This is a super cute little Thai place with a sushi bar. There aren't many sushi dishes on the menu but enough if you just want a simple roll, sashimi or tempura, which is moi fave. It's mainly a Thai place thou with lovely Thai vibes. I love that it's super cute with awesome Thai vibes. It has a very cute little patio facing the water fountain outside which is super cool. The ladies room is also spectacular with travertine walls & a marble floor, tre chic with great ambiance OuiOui. I got the soft shell crab & tuna Tataki. The soft shell crab was cooked perfectly. I would come back just for it OuiOui. However, the tuna Tataki was also fabulous. Super fresh sushi grade tuna, Lightly Seared with a tiny salad under. It was served with wasabi ginger lemon in a lovely ponzu sauce. I loved the way they served it here it wasn't sweet at all. Would def order both again. Moi only complaint is, they have the crispy duck here in Red curry, but it doesn't come with the duck on the bone, it's a boneless dish or I would have ordered it. I like the crispy half duck in Red curry on the bones. Would love to try some more dishes in the future thou. As I was leaving the Chef made me some cute little tiny doughnuts with a white glaze. This is the second time I've visited this location and we had another great experience. The service was great - our server was so kind and constantly returned to bring us more water and ask if we needed anything. The sushi we ordered came quickly, and the kitchen food not long after that. The food is good - consistent and flavorful no matter the dish. This visit we ordered the drunken noodles, Chicken Katsu, and a spicy salmon roll. It hit the spot and the portions were very generous. So disappointment... I came here with my child for the lunch special and ordered takeout. I ordered #5 from the lunch specials menu, which listed: salad, 3 pieces of sushi (tuna, salmon, and white fish), 4 pieces of California roll, pot stickers, and dessert. Since I'm deaf, communication can sometimes be challenging. When I got home and checked the bag, the salad and dessert were missing. I later sent my hearing partner back to the restaurant to ask about the missing items, but they still refused to provide them and said those items were only for dine-in. I wish the menu had clearly stated that the salad and dessert were dine-in only. It wasn't mentioned when I ordered. I paid $14.99 expecting the full lunch special, so it felt unfair and confusing. Didn't go in expecting what I did... so we decided to try this restaurant after passing by it so many times. I liked the interior design of the restaurant itself. They have brick walls which adds to the aesthetic. The food was surprisingly great! Friends brought us here post Spring Training game when the first place we went was closed on a Monday. And so glad they did! It was super quiet, but we were glad for the peace and cold after the hot day. Service was friendly, fast, and efficient. We started with the Egg Rolls. Vegan, with no meat, but loaded with veggies. They came out SUPER hot and had a delicious sweet Thai chili sauce accompaniment. Also included, without ordering, was a small salad with ginger dressing. The dressing tasted super fresh and yummy. Our entrees were the Amazing Tofu, a peanut and coconut milk sauced Asian vegetable and tofu dish; and the Tofu Red Curry. The peanut sauce was super thick and very peanutty - delish! I loved that there was PLENTY of sauce on the meal, and also to slather on the enormous bowl of rice that came with it. I do wish I had asked for brown rice, but my bad. The only disappointment was that there was zero spice in the sauce, which I was surprised about considering it's a Thai restaurant. I usually order Thai Hot, with lots of spice, but this was the one time the waitress did not come back fast enough for me to ask for a spice tray to jack up the flavor. It was so good even without spice, I ate too fast to bother asking for it by the time she came back. AND, it was a large enough portion that I took half of it home! Hubby had the Red Curry, and said it was delish, although he would liked to have had more spice too. Our table mates ordered Amazing Tofu and Ginger Tofu. It was apparently enjoyed also, cause no leftovers! To the owners....maybe have servers ask EVERY customer how spicy they like their meal, and it'll raise that four stars to a five! Wow!! I'm so glad I decided to stop in here today on my lunch break. I sat down and was immediately greeted by my server. She was back with my drink and salad before I could even blink. My meal was at my table within minutes. The inside of the restaurant is very clean and well kept. Their lunch special is also one of the best around. $10 for a meal that comes with a salad. Food was tasty, but service lacking. It's a square shaped dining room at the end of a new strip center. Tall ceilings, recycled wood on back wall, exposed brick on the other. Thai-themed decor abounds. There are about a dozen tables, with booths along 2 walls. The sushi bar is at the back, with about 6 seats. Dined in on a recent Monday evening. We were seated without a wait. Drink and food orders taken, service friendly and helpful. We ordered spicy steamed dumplings, chicken satay, avocado rolls, spicy tofu rolls and Siam Noodle. The dumplings are stuffed full with ground chicken and spices, open-faced in the dumpling skin before being steamed. Tasty, with garlic dipping sauce. The chicken satay was ok. It was lukewarm when it arrived, and tough. We were served spicy tuna rolls instead of spicy tofu. The rolls were quickly replaced and we weren't charged for either. A nice touch, very much appreciated. The Siam Noodles were significantly delayed in the kitchen - the rest of the food had already been eaten before they arrived. It's a flavorful blend of thin rice noodle sautéed with shrimp, chicken, egg, onion, carrot, celery and bean sprouts in a unique curry sauce. The food was delicious but the serious delay spoiled the experience. The food here is above par, so will try again as I'm sure the service lapses were unique and not the standard. read more

The restaurant open for sit down during pandemic. But I see a lot of take out on the take out table. I also got take out. The restaurant has patio seating since they are at the corner of the building. We got the garlic pepper squid and Siam noodle. The garlic squid did cook the Thai hot that I was asking. It has good sauce. But the squid feel like previous frozen food and defrost and cook. The quality is not quite there. I also feel their wok technique is not there too. May be is off day. The Siam noodle is a bit better. However the noodle seem like not cook to high BTU burn edge. If the noodle done that way, I can do it at home. This is about 2.5 stars restaurant. The items they can improve is improve their overnight food frozen technique and longer wok time to get the high BTU effect. My order was on time to pick up and they are ready. read more

I will most definitely be back to this place!! Great food, great service! Came here on a Sunday evening- around 5pm. We were able to get seated right away. Our server was really nice. Made a few suggestions on the menu and let us have time to look over everything. We started with a few appetizers. We got the egg rolls and the pot stickers. Yumm!! So delicious. They came out pretty quickly as well. I would guess it took less than 10 minutes. For dinner, I had the pineapple chicken fried rice. Very large portion! Had to take some home with me. Had Dinner here Friday night for the second time and it was Great! The place is well appointed, Clean with plenty of seating, both Booths and Tables. We ate Thai as we had Sushi at another Restaurant Tuesday. First of all the Appetizers are AWESOME! The Fresh rolls are delicious and crisp. The Pot Stickers, steam dumplings and Basil Mussels come with nice sauces and are Great too. We had the Pad Thai....possibly one of the best we have had since coming to Clearwater! Also had the Panang Shrimp Curry which we were able to take some leftovers home and eat with our Fish during this week. Also, Our Server EIleen, (had her last time too) is fast and very knowledgeable about the menu and gave us those recommendations. Also, she has gotten the order right every time we have been there. For $15.99, the serving was massive and it had an excellent flavor!! Finally stopped to try this restaurant located on the corner of east bay and US-19. I opted for pick up to stay safe in light of covid. The results......3 1/2 to 4 stars I ordered my usual Thai go to: red curry with chicken and Thai ice tea The food wasn't bad but something is off with the flavor from what I've had at other Thai restaurants. Which is why I'm going with 4 stars. I think there are better places in the area and the odd tinge of flavor I can't put my finger on will most likely not have me returning. The same was for the iced tea. It just wasn't up to par with my past experiences. Tampa has a lot of options when it comes to Thai Food. I was recently told about Siam Thai on East Bay and decided to check it out for lunch. Here are my ratings based on different criteria: Quality of food: disappointing. For lunch special, they have various curries, noodles, and Pad Thai available for around $9. I opted for Pad Thai as that's my personal factor in judging a good vs mediocre Thai restaurant. I chose to get mine with chicken. When the Pad Thai came out, the presentation looked pretty good. However, from my first bite to the last, all I could taste was the sweet sauce. There was no flavor from any of the other ingredients. Moreover, the chicken had a weird off putting smell to it which made me give up entirely eating the dish after half way done. Decor: cool. The restaurant had a modern look to it and looks inviting. Cleanliness: good. The bathroom and the tables were kept clean. Service: good. The waitress did a great job quickly filling our waters and soda. Price: typical. The lunch special at a Thai restaurant shouldn't be more than $10 so this place fit the bill for that. I was sadly disappointed by the quality of my Pad Thai at Siam. With an excellent option like Thai Basil down the road, I don't think i'll be back at Siam. read more

Really good Thai place we visited while visiting the Clearwater area. Lots of options on their menu, and while I always think it is odd having Thai and Sushi in one restaurant, it seems common in this area. From the decor, it seems like the influence is more from Thai, so we decided to go in the Thai direction with our order. I was looking for my go-to red curry with tofu, and it was really delicious! Super flavorful, brought out hot, huge portion size, lots of vegetables included. My husband had the tofu drunken noodles which were really good as well, but I have definitely had better with thicker coating of the noodles in sauce elsewhere. Regardless, we really enjoyed it all! We also had the mango sticky rice for dessert which was yum! It was my first time having it, and my husband commented on how it was really nice that the rice and condensed milk was warm, which not all places seem to do and it really adds to the experience. Thai tea was pretty much standard - it is hard to get wrong! Quick service, wasn't too busy on a Sunday evening around 7 pm. Recommend! read more

Place a bit on the expensive side; food good though. We got here around 11:40 or so and were seated right away. By the time we left the place was nearly full. Queen Bee said she did not want lunch special so she got Tom Yum and a rainbow roll...$19 plus $3 for a dinky little pot of tea. Dingleberry waitress only brought one cup too; she quickly corrected when asked to do so. We were both given their ginger salad. Basically a small pile of iceberg with Thai ginger dressing. Dressing was outstanding and even iceberg tasted good under it. At least it was crisp and not brown or wilted. Tom Yum certainly had a kick to it. Tasty and a bit spicier than you may find in other Thai places; especially in this gastronomic wasteland! She also wolfed down the rainbow roll pretty quick. I didn't take any of it because I didn't wanna lose a finger. Apparently she loved it... My pad Thai duck was outstanding; they give one the choice of mild, medium, hot or Thai hot. I chose hot and my sinuses are grateful for the nod. I think I can breathe again...Plenty of crisp veggie material with the rice noodles and a fairly decent amount of roast duck pieces too. Lunch special too; nice size plate for only $12; free dessert at end too consisting of Thai donuts, whatever that means. One turn off was the odd pace at which the food came out. Queen Bee was eating her salad when soup came out. She was eating her soup when sushi came out. Meantime she was well into her sushi by the time my pad Thai showed up. Lastly, in the turnoff department, one of the waitresses came by and put the check on table while we were still eating. I don't think we will return. Food certainly good and well prepared, but a bit steep and there are other Thai joints around here that give this joint a run for its money. Decor is nicely serene and warm with Thai music in background. Too bad there was some selfish couple nearby with a screaming brat of a kid who wouldn't shut up or quit moving. I don't know why I gave this place another chance. Worst service and subpar food. Service: 1 out of 5 stars I don't get it. It's not even busy during peak dinner hours. When we walked in, the hostess asked if it were for take out. No, we were dining in. When I ordered chicken pad thai, I said I wanted the spice level to be a little less than medium. Our waitress looked all sorts of confused and said there were 3 levels of spice: medium, hot and extra hot. To clarify, it should be mild, medium, hot and extra hot. So I already had a bad feeling she would mess up our order. I requested a separate check but for the appetizer to be split on the 2 checks. Again, our waitress looked confused. When the appetizer arrived, she did not give us small plates and we had to ask for them. Finally, when we asked for to go boxes for our meal, she asked "how many? 1?" There were 2 of us and we both had leftovers so I'm not sure how that was confusing... Food: 3 out of 5 stars Not horrible but not spectacular. Chicken pad Thai tasted sweet. Generous portion. Price comparable to other Thai places in Clearwater. I would go for lunch for their lunch specials. Overall I wouldn't come back.
