Adorable bakery, super friendly to food allergies being vegan, nut free, soy free and with plenty of gluten free options as well. I got a blueberry muffin and an orange sticky bun. We picked out a cake to go for my birthday, were provided with detailed instructions for how to best keep the cake good for a few days. read more

We absolutely love Pattycake and couldn't recommend them more highly. We always appreciated going in for a sweet treat, but we also used them for our wedding cake, and they made the experience so easy! We ordered cupcake combinations to test the flavor profiles, and although your taste buds stop working eventually, it was a great experience. You say you despise vegan cooking? You sneer at the thought of "vegan" baking? Do you run from the mere idea of vegan anything? My friends, I'm not vegan by any stretch. And I tell you now: Pattycake Bakery will BLOW. YOUR. MIND. I was so sad when I saw that their original location on High Street had been taken over by another business; I was certain they'd become yet another local-business victim of the pandemic. Then, by chance, we were up in North Clintonville & spotted a beautiful house with "Pattycake Bakery" emblazoned on the front -- and I immediately turned around, searched out the parking lot, and went in to get my long-lost & craved-after supply of Pattycake cookies. :happy sigh: Fresh, soft, tasty, crumbly, everything home-baked cookies SHOULD be. Sadly, they had only one chocolate cookie left (MINE! MINE! MINE!) but I was happy to fill the rest of my order with their oatmeal-raisin & snickerdoodles. (yeah, I'm one of those weirdos who LIKE oatmeal & raisin cookies, don't @ me bro) :more happy sighs: Look, I can't stress this enough: TRY PATTYCAKE. Even if you go in for one cookie or a delectable cupcake & a cup of their Thunderkiss Coffee, TRY THEM. It won't convert you to "vegan" anything, but you will have had a damn great cookie/cupcake! Their shop sit in N High Street and they have a small parking lot at the back of the shop. Before even entering the store, I already loving their cute little patio seating area with the mint green chair and the pink umbrella. The same color scheme filled throughout their shop as well. They also have caseful of adorable merchandise alongside of the front counter. They offer a wide range of vegan and organic sweets. Everything is display nicely at their front counter. I got a couple thing to try and I love their cut-out sugar cookie. It is soft and moist and slightly sweet from the vanilla icing. It is always great to explore into different segment of food option and seeing local businesses that have cater or provide option for variety dietary needs. read more

I ordered my birthday cake from here, and was a bit worried since I heard they are vegan baked goods. BUT OH MY GOD IT WAS AMAZING! Better than most cakes I've had around here. I ordered their cookies & cream frosting with chocolate cake. The chocolate cake was moist, and had the perfect semi-sweet chocolate taste. The frosting complimented the cake well, because though it was very sweet when paired with the cake that was not it tasted balanced. I can't speak much about the ambiance, since I had my s/o pick up the cake for me. But as far as service goes, at least over the phone they seemed very nice and took the time to answer all of my questions. I highly recommend this bakery and can't wait to try more baked goods in the future. read more

REAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLY yummy BIG & DECIDENT gluten free cupcakes and cookies! I was looking for gluten free specifically because we have several coworkers that are allergic & celiacs. I'm from a place that's super food allergy and limitations friendly so it was kinda tricky to find a place close to work but I did find this little quaint shop and am SO glad I did!!! The tiny little shop was poppin at about 9am and the service was super friendly and prompt! The treats are SO voluptuous and decadent! Never MIND you that they have gluten free & vegan options!!! WOW! and I AM TELLING YOU... their cupcakes and cream pies are out of this world! I'm not even a big baked goods person, but this place is def one of my top of the listers! I will definitely be back when I'm in the area. read more

Pattycake made 2 cakes for our son's first birthday and they were both incredible. Everyone raved and were stunned to find out they were vegan! Pattycake bakery is the cutest shop! It's a great place to find vegan and gluten-free treats! And they taste delicious. Some of my favorites are the lemon cupcakes, almond raspberry cake, and cookie bars. We picked up a random assortment this past weekend and brought to a friend's house and it was all a huge hit! They have moved down the street in the past year or so but are still in Clintonville. The parking situation is much improved and there is more space inside. They even sell adorable t shirts and stickers. The staff are always friendly and helpful too. Definitely recommend if you are vegan or just love sweet treats! read more

Last week was the grand reopening of Pattycake Bakery at their new spot. Parking is available in the back for about 10 cars and one spot is marked for handicapped parking. There was quite a bit of turnover in the lot while I was there (10 minutes or so) but if there are quite a few SUVs it might be kinda tight. As a special treat, they made their famous sticky buns every morning until sold out. I arrived in the afternoon before they closed and while the library was still open so I could get some baked goodies and then go across the street to pickup my reserves. Masks are required and it's prominently displayed at both entrances. I brought home a chocolate whoopie pie, a tollhouse cookie, a peanut butter chocolate chip cookie, and a carrot cake cupcake. Yum! The outdoor seating will be perfect anytime the weather is good. read more

Pattycake never disappoints! We got last minute cakes , cookies and cup cakes for Mother's Day and it was maybe the best experience yet. That's saying a lot because we always love it. While I'm predisposed to enjoy this bakery as it was started by my daughter, Jennie, they never fail to produce amazing sweets. I've taken some to many a party and no matter what I choose, rave reviews always follow. Most also can't believe that all items are devoid of eggs, butter or other animal based items. read more

My daughter was recently diagnosed with milk and egg allergies, so instead of making a veganized birthday cake at home, we decided to try ordering from Pattycake Bakery. She got a 6" vanilla bean cake with whipped raspberry icing, and while I found $45 to be a little pricy for a small cake, we all agreed it was worth it when we tasted it! Everyone in the family loved this cake and couldn't tell that it was made without animal products. The raspberry icing was made with fresh fruit so it didn't have a sickly sweet artificial flavor. 100% would order again - even for someone who isn't allergic! Just a delicious cake read more

Gluten Free cherry cake so awful. Yes, gluten free cakes are inherently more dense than traditional cakes, but we probably could have put a weight on it and it wouldn't have moved. Fluffy and soft are nowhere to be found. This was also the driest cake I have ever had. The cake crumbled apart like bread crumbs. The icing was supposed to be cream cheese but just tasted like sugar and was hard and stale. Will not be trying anything else from here. read more

I'm pretty sure that Pattycake Bakery is just the Dessert Devil in brick and mortar form, because PB makes my insides smile with sheer delight every fluffin time - oh the blissful guilt! Same A-MA-ZING vegan and gluten free cakes, cupcakes and cookies every damn time, but now with a BRAND NEW LOCATION!! PB has moved up North High Street a few miles into the short-lived Flowers & Bread store on the corner of Acton and N. High St. (smack-dab across the street from Park of Roses)! While there's only a few stools in the front window to sit inside, the outdoor front patio is beautifully landscaped and wonderful for climate-permitting days. The inside space that F&B used for seating is now Pattycake's baking area, so that space is a no-go. Pretty much, I don't care we're Pattycake Bakery lays their head, as long as they continue to stay open and baking the best vegan sweets in town!! read more

This place is so good! I can't believe that it's all vegan. We dropped in as we were in the area and were so pleasantly surprised at the variety and how tasty everything was. The chocolate lavender cake was moist and had just the right amount of lavender it was not overpowering at all. The gluten free cupcake was a little dry but probably expected. My absolute favorite bakery! These folks know how to bake vegan and are super friendly. You'd never know it's vegan (especially their chocolate flavors). You have a lifelong Pattycake patron for life. I remember when it was in their smaller store and their new store location is much easier to park (in the back of the establishment). Ma absolute favorites: pistachio rose water cake, anything chocolate, and their pumpkin walnut muffin anytime of the year (no need to wait til the fall). read more

Can't believe I've never reviewed Pattycake! I've been a fan for years. Everything they offer is delicious and beautiful, with large portion sizes. It's a great place to go for those with dietary restrictions so they can still feel special on special days! Everything is vegan and they also have a large selection of GF items. I love their new space and they're always putting out cute seasonal items for holidays and zodiac signs. To top it off, they always package everything in the cutest pink boxes. Some of my favorites: chocolate chip cookies, snicker-doodles, the lemon cupcake, gf ginger spice cookies, Buckeye bars, and Whoopie pies. On Saturday mornings they have different flavors of sticky buns that are absolutely huge and to die for. Sometimes you can get discounted ones on Sundays. Grabbing one or two and taking a walk through the Park of Roses next door is a great way to spend a morning. read more

GF Chocolate Chip Cookies are Originally tried at a coffee shop in North Market. I went back the next day to buy more, and they were sold out. I was only in town for an event for 1 more day. I was unable to go to the bakery myself, but was determined to get some for the team. I placed an order over the phone and sent an "Uber" driver to pick up the box and deliver to me. WOW!!!! So my church was having a lunch gathering and I offered to bring dessert. Many of our members are vegan or vegetarian and I was trying to find a place I could get something to satisfy that requirement. I'll admit I've had vegan desserts before and they were dry and tasteless. But baby let me tell you Pattycake Bakery was nothing of what I've had before. Firstly I could not even tell these were vegan cookies, moist and delicious I seriously thought I got the wrong batch. The new location is adorable and easy to access. The staff was super friendly and helpful and I got a carrot cake cupcake for myself and it was spectacular!!!! I have no idea about the calorie counts but taste alone I thought I was eating the full out eggs, butter, and flour. So glad they are in business to help out our vegan and vegetarian friends. The new location is wonderful. It feels very welcoming, both inside and out. There's a great patio area outside with chairs and tables. The inside section where you order isn't huge as far as forming a line goes, but it it set up really nicely with gear on view to the left, the bakery case full of goodies in front, and a refrigerated case to the right. They offer a nice variety of goodies, including cookies, whoopie pies, cupcakes, bars and brownies, muffins, and more! Everything looked delicious, and it was hard to decide, but I finally settled on a chocolate chip cookie, a snickerdoodle, and a peppermint whoopie pie. The cookies in particular are quite generously sized. Everything was tasty, and I already have an idea of what else we'd like to try in the future! read more

I am not vegan, but I have a friend that is. A few years ago they brought in a cake from Pattycake. I really didn't think a cake missing most of the ingredients that I was used to would be any good, but I was wrong. I honestly don't know what they do, but I think these cakes are incredible. For uhhh *clears throat* quality control purposes I had to go 3 times to get an accurate review. The verdict is DAMN THESE COOKIES ARE FIRE. Each time I've gone the customer service has been swift and kind + last time I was in they had a person who "could not wear a mask" stand outside to order which I appreciated greatly. The Tollhouse is truly undefeated. I do wish there were peanutbutter in the base of the peanut butter chip base but that's not a complaint just a wish down the line. I can't wait til they reopen in 2021 so I can continue to research. Top 3 cookies of all times!! read more

What can I say...mostly organic and all vegan, exactly what I like. The lemon cupcakes are my favorite. They do have a variety of cupcakes, cookies, cakes and other sweets. I am glad I found a place for vegan sweets. Always good options I have even tried the cakes, and brought them to a party and nobody at the party knew it was vegan. It was gone in seconds. We wanted a small cake for our wedding, and looked at several different bakeries. I've always loved Pattycake's baked goods (which are entirely vegan, though you'd never guess if you didn't know). I had a vision for what I wanted the cake to look like, and sent a lot of inspiration images and questions to Liz, the wedding coordinator. She was quick to reply and happily answered all my questions and requests, providing suggestions as needed and clarifying what I wanted. We picked up the cake the morning of the wedding to transport it ourselves to the venue (delivery can be arranged for an additional cost). It was securely packaged and survived the 30 minute drive down country roads! There were thorough storage and unboxing instructions which were easy to follow. The cake was beautiful, not to mention tasty!! For reference, we had a 4"/6" tiered cake, which is 12 generous servings! We also ordered sugar cookies for our welcome event, which were adorably decorated. Highly recommend utilizing Pattycake for your wedding or event needs! read more

The croissant was fine and not memorable and I won't say too much on the macaron because I think I just realized I'm not really a macaron person so I can't fairly judge them there. The cafe is itty bitty and there is absolutely no seating inside so it's more of a grab and go situation. There are a few seats outside so hopefully you can snag a seat when the weather is nicer. Overall, I think there are a lot of other good coffee shops in Columbus that I don't see myself going out of my way to come back.

I visited Tous Les Jours for the first time on Memorial Day (May 2026) at the Columbus location. I arrived around 2:30pm on a Monday. Surprisingly, they had lots of options available even with my late arrival because most bakeries run out of items quickly. They sell croissants, cakes, milk breads, macarons, drinks, etc. MY ORDER ($18.95 total for 4 items) -- Twist Donut ($2.95), Sweet Frank Roll ($4.50), Almond Croissant ($4.75), and a Whole Milk Loaf bread ($6.75). 1. Twist donut ($2.95) - sweet but not overly sweet. It tasted just like a regular twist donut that you'll find at other donut shops. 2. Sweet Frank Roll ($4.50) - good. Perfect savory option for breakfast or lunch. Soft and buttery bread base. I think $3 would have been a better price but the bread roll was good. I ate this in my car before driving back to Cleveland. It held me over until I got home. 3. Almond Croissant ($4.75) - my favourite item - buttery with some almond cream or paste inside. Topped with almonds. I don't like creamy things at all and I didn't realize that this croissant had a cream inside until I opened it but the cream is very light and it is more of a spread than a cream. 4. Whole Milk Loaf Bread ($6.75) - Fresh and soft. Definitely my other favourite item. This was all gone within a day, that's how good it was. Buttery goodness. The best bread. Overall, I enjoyed visiting Tous Les Jours and I hope to visit their Cleveland location soon. I ordered takeout so I didn't sit in but they have some tables and chairs available. I'll definitely be back if I'm close by the area again. Well, if I'm honest there was this Amish stand at a farmers market in Central PA that had outstanding donuts, but they only sold them a few times a year and I have no idea how to find them! This trip, I got the big boy donut, a white icing cake donut, and a pretzel. The big boy donut is a huge glazed donut as big as your head. That's right, you can hold it up to your head and it will be just as large!!! This time, however, they put a twist on them and added icing to a few. I know, sweet on top of a sweet sugary donut seems like overkill, and it was. But come on, anyone willing to eat a donut as big as his head has no problem with something super duper sweet! I can't remember the name, but one had a hot dog wrapped inside of croissant dough. The other was a French Onion Dip and Ruffle Croissant which had potato chips on top of it. Both just kind of fell apart leading to eating the components separately. Personally, I will stick to the sweets if I make it back there.

Ignorance was not bliss for me as the dish did not include the bacon that it was supposed to have... but I didn't know that it was supposed to have bacon until my wife told me after I ate it. It was definitely the missing ingredient, literally and figuratively, because the rest of the dish couldn't justify the hype. I am pleased to say that after making them aware of this after the fact, they refunded my purchased which I truly appreciated.
