We came back for a second meal before heading home to the US and it was just as spectacular! Everything from the food to the ambiance to the amazing team, made this an experience we'll never forget. Without a doubt our favorite restaurant in London!Special shoutout to Michelle, our server, who is really special, the best in the business. She treated us like family. And Peter on our first visit, and Alex on our second were both so thoughtful and welcoming. We'll be singing our praises for Kitty Fisher's to friends and anyone who will listen for a long time to come. Can't wait for our next visit.

$80 set for two people steak

You must make the reservation before you come. They are always busy. Almost every table ordered their signature steak. Its a $80 set for two people. I love the steak, cooked just the right time. They have a large drinking menu. Service is A+, the manager is so kind to all the guests, try his best to fulfill everyone's needs.

Most exciting British food in London. This intimate and charming spot serves up some innovative dishes at very reasonable prices. The cocktail and wine menu is also a good value packing a lot of flavor. Cornish crab with bbq'ed cucumber (5/5) - very light and refreshing crab meat well balanced with vegetables Whipped cod roe on bread (5/5) - this is more decadent in flavor than foie gras but without feeling as heavy! Ox heart with red cabbage (5/5) - very tasty and not very heavy Duck with blood orange and rhubarb (4/5) - well cooked but just didn't stand out in flavor as too different from many other duck dishes I've had Service was point and friendly. They politely asked us to move to bar to finish drinks when we got to 2 hours limit. I thought the overall place was well run and I can't wait to come back again.

Before we had the steak I was going to rate 4 stars for all the dishes we had. However, the steak was burnt and it was a big disappointment since the manager strongly recommended this dish. From the picture, the steak looks very good but the it was burnt outside. We had to cut the parts w/black because it was NOT eatable. Inside was ok, not good not bad. I don't recommend the steaks and it was totally overpriced, $88 per course. I meant there were a lot of meat but food itself I didn't like.

Wow wow, so glad we decided to dine here. The food was the most outstanding I've had all week in London. Our waitress was really good and explained dishes very well. For starters the chicken liver pâte was delicious as was the welsch rarebit. The potato side was the best crispiest potatoes with perfect salt. Salsa verde pesto type sauce on the broccoli side was so good, I mopped it up with the potato. Entrees were a nice portion and not heavy which was nice. Desserts were outstanding- brown butter ice cream & also thefresh strawberries. So so delicious! Everything came with garnishes and sauces or crispy additions that really made the dishes shine. This place is a must and is curated well also. Will always go back when visiting!

Myself and the owners of Kitty Fisher's, Oliver and Tim! Cheers guys!

Oh yeah! Americans…read morefrom California here. Who would've known that mashed potatoes, sausages, and gravy would go so well together! Loved every bite. Got the gravy on the side, didn't think I'd use all of it, before I knew it, it was all gone. And you wouldn't think that the type of mash or type of gravy or type of sausage would matter that much, but they really do all have distinct flavors! I will be mixing mustard into my mashed potatoes from now on. Originally came for the sticky toffee pudding, so of course we ended with that. Marvelous! The toffee sauce is so comforting and rich, the cake was so moist, and it was perfectly balanced with the ice cream. Didn't detect any dates, maybe they were too finely chopped. Also the apple and blackberry crumble just didn't hit the same; it was slightly dry and on the sour side (maybe don't take a bite directly after the pudding!) Service was so helpful and friendly; I'm sure they love watching people fall in love with their food. Quick with refills and offered extra condiments if needed. Great air conditioning as well (always a plus), and I loved the green blacksplash and blackboard caligraphy on the walls as well. Bangin'

the poor rating has to do with the rude staff at this location. i'm not sure if he was the owner or…read morea staff member, but there was an older man who was very rude to us when we arrived. we entered the establishment, as that is what you typically do when you want to dine at a restaurant, and he came up the stairs and didn't even offer a greeting. i mentioned that we had a reservation for that time and he immediately just kept repeating that our table was outside. we went outside to their small patio dining area, and saw that there was a table with a "reserved" sign on it, so we sat down. i thought it was incredibly rude that he spoke to us in that manner, and it seemed like he expected us to somehow know that that table was ours before we had even spoken to any staff. i was seriously considering getting up and leaving but i decided to give this place one more chance. it then took a while, but we were eventually served by a much more pleasant and friendly younger server, who helped make this experience better. i would give this place a lower rating, however i must admit that the food was delicious. as an american tentatively wanting to try british bangers and mash, this exceeded my expectations. we all spoke about how the sausage was plump, snappy, and delicious, definitely one of the best we've ever had. the mashed potatoes were also amazing- cheesy and heavenly, and i'm not even usually a mashed potatoes kinda person. i am glad that we stayed solely for the delicious food, but i would not come back because of our experience with the staff here. the place already was one of the emptier spots on this very busy soho street anyway.

wow..... this was .... WOW…read more being from the states and seeing the typical sunday roast advertised on every platform made me NEED to try it for myself. i did copious amounts of research to find the absolute best in London and I can confidently say this. is. IT. we absolutely adored this meal. i shared it with my boyfriend and it was just enough for both of us. FOOD: beef with horseradish, lamb with mint sauce & pork with applesauce: WOW!!!! we absolutely loved this. phenomenally cooked and paired amazingly with the sauces. the Yorkshire pudding, duck fat roast potatoes, a selection of seasonal vegetables and blacklock Gravy were AMAZING!!!! absolutely scrumptious. i dream of the crispy potatoes that were so soft on the inside. vegetables were flavorful and i would swim in the gravy! ATMOSPHERE: coolest joint ever. bathrooms that say "east end boys" and "west end girls". when you enter there is neat decor with record players and low lighting. downstairs was a dimly lit, beautiful cacophony of people laughing, enjoying their meals & the greatest decor ever. it was such a vibe in this establishment! By…read morethe time I was planning, the only open reservation was at 2pm so I ended up coming for a late lunch. I opted for the all-in which includes a portion of the beef, lamb and pork roasts. A really great way to try their variety of meats. First, the portion was absolutely huge - I definitely appreciated how much vegetables there were, the roasted brussels and carrots were delicious. Sides were all good - including the roasted potatoes and yorkshire pudding. The star was the meat of course, my favorite ended up being the lamb which was super tender and flavorful. Loved the crispy pork rind that comes with the pork roast slices and the gravy and sauces on the side really rounded out the meal, added a ton of flavor and made it fun to try the different sauces with the variety of meats. Service was great and everything came out really quickly! Definitely would recommend Blacklock to try the famous Sunday roast in London, you can't go wrong here!
