Having no idea what to expect, we rang the doorbell for entrance and waited about 30 seconds for someone to unlock the door. Once inside, it was clear that this place had been accumulating weird souvenirs, Coke collectibles, vintage objects, and other odds and ends for decades. The small store is packed from floor to ceiling with knicknacks, assorted seashells, art pieces, and traditional beach town tourist junk that folks like me want to bring home as a memento of the visit. We found out that this store is one of the oldest continuously operated, family-run small businesses in Ft. Walton and will celebrate 50 years in 2022. The friendly lady behind the counter seemed to know details about everything in the store and was very engaged with all the customers. Our visit was brief, but I picked up my 2 essential souvenirs (a koozie and a magnet) for less than $10, with a free seashell included. I did get a sturdy metal and plastic scoop for $20.99. Now I better get out on the beach to use it! Was interested in a hat but didn't try any on. As I was walking to checkout saw a few cute sweatshirts and t-shirts. Their sign outside has a huge 75% off sale sign painted on the side of the building g but the only way I figured that came into play was when you bought the shirts that are buy 3 get one free. As it's getting into March and spring break time I may wait until next November/December to go back and check out some of the sweatshirts and hats. Our cashier was friendly enough.
