    Seafood pancake yumm

O M G. Never knew this place was here. We live in North End Tacoma and came out here for the Puertirican ? Rest near here but NO inside dining. Sooooo I saw this as we drove by and turned around and to our delight it was fabulous!! It's very cute inside Open seating to the right and closed in booths to the left where we sat. Curtains over entrance of doorway to the table. So cute. Well I think the owner came over and took our order. He was very nice. We said this is our first time in Here. We started out with : Seafood Pancake- great sauce Small wings- delisious sauce too Side of Kimchee Gizzards- yummy sesame sauce!! Side of Rice for hubby These came with: shredded cabbage with container of sweet coleslaw dressing for you to add , pickled Diacon in a sweet vinegar sauce. So this is Definatly a place we will come again. They do serve Sake plus sugar free Sake too. Wasn't in the mood today. The wife owner came over and we told her how fabulous EVERYTHING was. See them soon!!

Great little spot with really delicious chicken! Really fun if you bring a group and get a booth/ room.

    Kimchi and spam fried rice.

The food is incredible. Service is good, they don't bother you a lot. You get to sit in partially closed booths. KPop on the TV. Just a great little place ambiance on point.

Quiet then usual on a Friday night. The prices have increased quite a bit, they didn't have beer on tap which is disappointing but they do have liquor options.

    Very pure and authentic.

I have driven past this place for years and finally decided to check it out. A little hole in the wall spot, interesting decor. There a few tables to the right side of the restaurant and a few separate dining "rooms" to the left with a little more privacy and your own tv monitor for kpop. As we walked in I overheard another customer saying that the chicken wasnt even spicy. When I ordered I tried to emphasis to the waitress that we would like ours made extra spicy. We went with shrimp fried rice, spicy special marinated chicken and spicy chicken...all ordered extra spicy. The spicy special and shrimp fried rice were brought out first. A few minutes later--A lady who I am assuming to be one of the owners, came and brought us a bottle of sriracha. Totally not what I wanted, expected, or ordered. Then came out the spicy chicken--which needless to say was not spicy, which I had expected considering the other customer as we walked in...and the sriracha brought to my table. We were also served cabbage salad and pickled radish--which I love. The owner lady came by once again before we left and asked how everything was. I told her that it was good and that I had ordered all of our food to be made spicy, or with extra spice. She said she was only told that we wanted the shrimp fried rice to be spicy--either way, all that was done there was a bottle of sriracha being brought to the table. I am not new to asian/korean cuisine and know that most of them have spices and some you have to specifically ask for...which I attempted to do. Next time I may just have to be more specific, or ask to speak to the cook. The chicken was okay, but could have been better if it would have been spiced right. I do like that you are not charged extra for the radish and salad like some places. Think you still have to pay extra for rice though. Markup on soju is pretty high...but is good if you are out with friends. I like the little separate dining rooms. And I did appreciate the lady coming to the table and seeking feedback on our experience, even if it could have been better. I will probably return and check it out again.

    Shrimp fried rice, beef bulgogi

Came here around 10pm with my friend to start our night and we ordered shrimp fried rice, half order of fried chicken, beef bulgogi and peach soju. My first bite of the fried rice had that wok hei and that's when I knew this meal was gonna be lit! Fried chicken was crispy and came with 2 different dipping sauces one slightly sweet the other a little spicy, cabbage salad had a sweet dressing which I really liked, the soju was soju so it was doing its magic and my friend really liked her beef bulgogi. Service was great, seating was cozy and the music in the background was really upbeat. I'm definitely coming here again.

The food was different from what I usually have. The Bulgogi was okay, they mix it with vegetables (maybe to look like more) and it makes it really soupy versus just sizzling meat on the platter. Also ordered the whole order of boneless fried chicken and it came in pieces (but size) in a basket and that was really yummy. The sauce she serve with it was not good, but I put chili out on it and that worked out. The green onion Korean pancake was yummy but again the sauce for that was not good. With the Bulgogi they gave one bowl of rice that we shared and with the fires chicken order they provided daikon in a vinegar sauce (that was soooo good). For a side salad they provided plain shredded cabbage with their house made dressing (I didn't care for it). We ordered these cheese balls and they were horrible...don't get those! Overall the experience was good and the food yummy!! Ambience was okay swatting comfortable and everything small and closed in. Not much open area. I saw that they had open booths for those who wanted to cook at their table.

This is a great Korean fried chicken place! We visited for the first time a couple weeks ago and we're not disappointed! Atmosphere: this is a small place with tables that seat mainly 2-4 people. We did see one designated area that could hold more like 6-8 people! They have little TV's by the some of the tables playing Korean pop. Food: This is the real reason you come to a restaurant! I absolutely love the food here! If ordering a few things, the half size chicken will feed 2 people if you other dishes to go with! I loved the spicy bones less chicken. Cleanliness: we had to dock a star because the cleanliness of the eating area was questionable. The table had been wiped down with baby wipes before we sat down but a lot of stickiness and crumbs were left behind. We also would've liked to see them wipe it down with some disinfectant too before sitting down but we still ate.

I've been eating here for years thanks to the recommendation of my friends that this has the best Korean fried chicken in town! And on top of that, if you want home-style Korean dishes this is definitely the place to go. I always get the boneless #4 spicy chicken and it's sooo bomb. They always serve a side salad and pickled radishes. Not a fancy place by any means but it's fun and they play K-pop music videos in each of the seating areas. It does feel private since each of the tables are closed off from one another. Takeout is always easy here too and the prices are very very reasonable. The owners are very friendly and the cutest old couple!

There were only a few tables inside but almost half of them were already occupied with several customers. I was quickly seated for a table of 1. The tables are fairly close together and the noise level is low enough to hear conversations around me. I didn't mean to eavesdrop, but I did hear other customers comment at their tables that the food here is good. There's a few ajummas working here, so service was straightforward. I ordered the kalbi dolsot bibimbap, which seemed inexpensive and came with some complementary sides, and they were nice enough to cut my kalbi into bite-sized pieces for me. I would say, if I can finish my food in one sitting at a restaurant, I am either really hungry, satisfied, or both. In this case, it was both! This is my first dolsot bibimbap after moving to Washington recently, and I am glad it did not disappoint.

But because of my family size and which wasn't stated anywhere on the menu or the facility, I was embarrassed in front of my family and asked to raise it to a minimum of 15%. A shame that this wasn't just reflected in the already high menu prices. Pay your employees instead of having them resort to such atrocious aggressive tactics and begging. The Mongolian Beef was not good. I didn't care for the sauce, the meat was chewy, and the styrofoam noodles were rancid--and there were a lot of them! The actual portion size was pretty small. The salad on the plate with the Teriyaki and Gyoza was big chunk of lettuce with a giant glob of dressing--pretty unappealing. Service was mediocre. There were flies buzzing around as we ate. I stopped by around 9:30pm by myself.. jeez, the parking lot was absolutely packed. Every single spot in the main lot was taken, so I had to park in the isolated back area and walk to the front. Not an ideal parking situation imo, especially at night, if you're alone like I was. Thankfully there's sufficient lighting. The restaurant itself is pretty small with only a handful of tables, and it was EXTREMELY busy. There were already at least two parties waiting ahead of me, and there's barely any room near the entrance to wait comfortably. Only about four chairs available to sit and wait. It took about five minutes before any staff member acknowledged me, but to be fair, I guess everyone looked like they were running nonstop trying to take care of tables and orders. Eventually, a middle-aged male staff member came over and kindly asked how many [for a table] and when I told him "just a table for 1," he explained there would be a wait since there were no tables currently available. He spoke decent English thankfully, so it was easy to converse, and once I told him I was willing to wait, he remained polite and attempted to figure out the table seating situation. Based on his attitude and willingness to accommodate me, I decided to stay despite the hectic first impression. That's mainly why this is 4 stars instead of 5. He was nice enough to offer me a cup of water while I waited, I said yes, and he brought it out immediately. I waited about 30 minutes before finally being seated. By that point I was absolutely famished, so I ordered the BBQ Intestine Combo A along with a corn cheese appetizer. The Combo A is supposedly enough for 2 to 3 people, but I can definitely eat lol. It also came with bean sprout soup, Korean salad, and complimentary side dishes. The soup was decent. I didn't really care for the salad personally since I'm not much of a salad person. They also asked if I wanted rice, and they brought out the Korean-style rice mixed with (i think?) grains/beans/barley that I really enjoy at every Korean restaurant. The corn cheese was super good! It was cheesy, flavorful, and not watery like some places make it. I finished the entire thing. The BBQ intestine combo itself was absolutely delicious. It came out cooked really well and piping hot with veggies. Everything tasted savory and satisfying after such a long day. The combo included small and large intestines, beef stomach, and pork heart. I ended up eating about 85% of it before finally giving up and asking for a small takeout box so I can enjoy the rest later (which still tasted amazing after tossing in the air fryer). My total ended up being around $111 including tip, which is definitely pricey, but my stomach was very satisfied and the food was totally worth it. The atmosphere here is very lively. Throughout my meal, I noticed several Asian families dining together, mostly Korean with some Vietnamese families as well. You could hear laughter from most of the tables and even the kitchen staff. If you're sensitive to loud or crowded restaurants, dine-in may not suit your preference. Overall though, I would absolutely recommend this place for the food. Just be prepared for waits, limited seating, and a crowded environment. If you're dining with family, impatient with wait times, or prefer quieter places, takeout may be the better option. I did notice they seemed a little more naturally comfortable interacting with Korean customers, but I noticed the Korean party in front of me waited just about as long for their table, and personally, I did not experience any discrimination and felt I received fair service throughout my visit.
