I like Seoul Bowl.. i've been to one in Olympia's Capital Mall and had a bowl customized to my liking there and just saw that Tacoma Mall has a location as well. They have many tasty options so it was tough to decide what to choose this time but ultimately I settled on the fries and chose to get them with spicy pork instead of the traditional beef bulgogi and did them without kimchi as I just am not a fan of that. It was greasy but had a great flavor. Next time I'll likely get either the sweet and spicy chicken sandwich or perhaps one of their Korean style burritos. It's a bit expensive but I do feel this is one of the better options if you're going to eat something located in the food court. read more

There are two self-ordering kiosks available for customers to view the menu, place, and pay for their order. This was our first time trying out Seoul Bowl and we decided to order the Spicy Pork Bowl and a small Bulgogi Kimchi Cheese Fries. While you are ordering, you are able to customize your items how you like easily. The food was served quickly. The food was good, but definitely overly saucy. The sauces are good, but it felt like our food was drenched in the sauce and by the end you could see how much sauce was still leftover. The Bulogogi Kimchi Cheese Fries were interesting since the fries and meat were warm, but the kimchi and cheese weren't. Seoul bowl offers quick and easy rice/salad style bowls with marinated bulgogi beef, spicy pork, chicken or tofu. You choose your own toppings from a large list of items. There is also a Burrito option where you can essentially have the bowl in a burrito, and it doesn't take away from the amazing flavors. My favorite items outside of their classic bowls and burritos was the Fried Chicken (comes with fries and a fountain drink!) and the sweet and spicy rice cakes with added sausages. The fried chicken, even without any dipped sauces, was so flavorful and crunchy on the outside and perfectly cooked on the inside. This place is really good! Never seen this restaurant before, it's located in the Tacoma mall. Food is delicious and ordering is very simple on their touch screen system. Choose from a base of japchae noodles, rice or salad I think. We both tried bulgogi meat but there was a spicy pork option that looked yummy too. Added some sides and sauces to top it and there you have it! My only small complaint was the drink cups were really small, like child size small and there was a little too much sauce for me, I think it would've been better with a rice base (I opted for the noodles). Let's gooo! About time Seoul Bowl comes down south. I had my first bulgogi bowl once when I was in Seattle, after I found out this spot opened up I had to come through. I got myself my usual bulgogi bowl and tried the fried chicken. The bowl was just as solid as I remember but the friend chicken may have stole the show. They also said they don't have a working phone number yet.. well I came home and found another piece of hair in my bowl... very gross, lost my appetite. they need to do better and be cleanly.
