    LA short ribs

First time here, and it is so good! Been hearing about this place from my mom, and if an older Korean lady says this restaurant is good, it must be, and it was! The lady serving us was so attentive and friendly. She also was attentive to my 2 year old son and made sure he even liked the food. The place was really clean and organized. I can't wait to come back and try different dishes.

All you can eat-- Kalbi short ribs, Pork bulgogi, NY Steak,Pork belly, Beef bulgogi, sausages, free soda--on a clean griddle!

High quality meat, ample side dishes, server was helpful and changed out the griddle 3 times which kept meat flavors intact. My husband and I have been to other Korean BBQs on Pacific Highway South and we decided to try the Grill's all-you-can eat on a Friday night. The flavors are on-point, ambiance is welcoming, free soda with meal and server was super helpful. Plus the Grill does discount for active duty military(!)

Combo meat 3 sub the bulgogi with more brisket.

Place wasn't crowded so we got seated right away. Restaurant was decently clean. What you would expect from any Korea restaurant. Waitress was very nice. Food came out pretty quickly. Food was well worth the price. Combo meat 3 had a decent amount of meat but the combo food 2 was way worth it. Came with grilled fish, full size spicy pork, spicy octopus, steam egg and miso soup. I would go back just for that. The waitress checked on us a few times throughout our meal but managed to forgot about our drinks and condiments. After we reminded her she was very apologetic. Will visit again to try their other dishes.

Best KBBQ in Tacoma! I have been here several times & it never disappoints. The service is INCREDIBLE! The ladies working are so kind, helpful with the grilling, and attentive! The food is amazing, all the items are great quality! Worth the price overall. Will come back to eat KBBQ again!

Pretty Expensive but WORTH My friends and I were originally going to a different KBBQ but realized it wasnt AYCE and was super expensive for a combo. You get a free drink with the AYCE dinner. Super clean and the service was amazingly fast. It was on the pricier side and they ran out of some sides as we came in late. I think it was a great experience and its worth the expensive price because they are fast, kind, and AYCE! would go again with some friends! Oh they only play music in certain parts of the store and we sat at the area where no music was playing so it'll be nice to have music but besides that the meat and food was high quality!!!

The overall experience wasn't good. Our server rushed us the entire time, just threw our entire tray of meat on the grill and it went everywhere. The brisket slices were small in size (about half the normal size) and very fatty. Everything was overpriced for what you get.

The food was fresh and so good! - I am not Korean. Severs are all attentive and friendly. Restaurant is clean and organized. It was not dusty nor sticky. I will definitely come back!

The bbq here is pretty good. Me and my friends got the combo 2 and my favorite was the seasoned boneless short rib. It was super flavorful and delicious. The bulgogi was leaning more on the even more sweeter side than I'm used to. All the meats were pretty good quality too. I enjoyed all the side dishes. I would say the best ones were the cucumber kimchi and the radish one. I also did get a steamed egg dish and i wouldn't really recommend it. It had a bit of a burnt taste to it but I still ate it all. The service was good. Our waitress was kind enough. We did accidently make a mess and she wasn't mad or anything. We did try to clean it up a bit to make the spillage more manageable. It was pretty busy at like 7 pm on a Thursday night. There were many older Korean customers on the none bbq side of the restaurant. I would definitely come back to try that part of the menu next time.

Been to The Grill twice now and I can finally say I am a FAN. I have had a lot of KBBQ and I can say this is probably by far my favorite place to go to in Lakewood! The selection isn't as big as other places but they have decent choices, and it is pretty pricey but they make up for it with good quality meats. We got a lot mostly LA Kalbi, Beef Belly, Brisket, and Pork Belly. Kalbi was very delicious and tender with a nice marinade, and our personal favorite the brisket and beef belly was fatty and tasty! This is probably my favorite KBBQ spot to eat side dishes as well. Their kimchi is my favorite! It isnt sour but it's very savory and has a really good spice. Would definitely come here again for their friendly service and good quality KBBQ!

1/25/2024 Dinner Visiting the area and my friend who was visiting as well was craving for Korean BBQ. We had a function nearby and decided to search for a place and this place popped up in Yelp. We decided since it had 4 stars, why not. Parking was ample. Walked in, at peak of dinner time and the place was quiet with 2 other tables taken. We got seated right away. Food was okay, our favorite was the Brisket and short ribs. Typical sides were included except they didn't have potato salad and rice paper. Maybe only in California. Service, she was nice. But you have to flag her down to request for more meat. I hate when a restaurant is not busy and we have to call someone to be served. For $41, I expected to have other menu items be part of the All-You-Can-Eat, but nope, all separate. So that was a bummer. I've had KBBQ pretty frequently and most of the time; when they say All-You-Can-Eat, it means "ALL". Would we come back, probably not. Not for $41.

Arrived here around 3pm on a Thursday and there was no wait! The place has open parking and easy to locate. The majority of the staff spoke and understood English for those worried about any communication barriers. They are currently updating their all you can eat selection. The selection they currently have is good and delicious. One thing I like about them is that they pay attention of portion control. They would rather give you "enough" than give you a standard portion and have you worry about any leftovers. Quality meat. Quality service. Fun fact. AYCE dinner is $41 for dinner, but you get either a bottle of soju, beer, or 2 free soft drinks! It's nothing to brag about, but that's $6-10 for free compared to other competitors. Will come back again. Plus the ambiance is well spaced out and ventilation is great!

There were only a few tables inside but almost half of them were already occupied with several customers. I was quickly seated for a table of 1. The tables are fairly close together and the noise level is low enough to hear conversations around me. I didn't mean to eavesdrop, but I did hear other customers comment at their tables that the food here is good. There's a few ajummas working here, so service was straightforward. I ordered the kalbi dolsot bibimbap, which seemed inexpensive and came with some complementary sides, and they were nice enough to cut my kalbi into bite-sized pieces for me. I would say, if I can finish my food in one sitting at a restaurant, I am either really hungry, satisfied, or both. In this case, it was both! This is my first dolsot bibimbap after moving to Washington recently, and I am glad it did not disappoint.

The salad on the plate with the Teriyaki and Gyoza was big chunk of lettuce with a giant glob of dressing--pretty unappealing. Service was mediocre. There were flies buzzing around as we ate.
