January 3rd 2019 -- I was ready to go for my everyday run. Five minutes into it, I couldn't put my left leg on the ground. Limping, in intense pain, I came back home. I didn't take my pain seriously as I have had back issues since I was 21 years old. I have a history of slip disc. So, I did a few stretches I carried on my day with pain. After a week and pain still lingering -- I went to a chiropractor. Almost 10 visits and nothing. By then the pain on my calf was increasing by the minute. My calf had become numb. I visited the second chiropractor who said it was my gluteus and not my back. Three visits and I felt zero relief. At that moment I had back pain, numb calf, pain travelling to my sole and a misaligned pelvic and droopy shoulders. After two failed chiropractic visits, I tried physical therapy. The therapist after examining my two-year-old MRI asked me to do "snake pose" to get the disc bulge I have back in. And, the therapist tried to correct the misalignment. Three visits and I didn't see any improvement as the "snake pose" was aggravating my pain. But the therapist remained unhinged. February 22nd 2019 -- after two unsuccessful Chiropractic and one physical therapy visits. In pain for almost two months -- I visited Dr Klein as a last resort. At this point, I was standing half my height. (I am 5'5" y'all.) I couldn't walk. (Five steps from bed to bathroom got me to tears.) I couldn't drive. I could barely manage taking care of myself. My day to day activities was barred. I couldn't sleep. As I couldn't find a good sleeping position that would not hurt and was taking otc pain medication 4-5 times a day. Everything that could go bad had happened. Surgery was not an option for me. (Just didn't want to go that route.) After being in pain for almost two months, I got to know about "spinal decompression" as a non-invasive way to treat chronic back pain. Hence, I found about Dr Klein. He meticulously took my case history. Saw my old MRI but recommended me to get a fresh MRI. (Which no other doctor asked. I wonder why?) He recommended spinal decompression as all other options were off the table. He assured me my problem can be fixed. It has helped patients in past. He even told me it will take time. I have to be regular (thrice a week) and have patience. He said -- at least, 20 visits till I will see any improvements. February 25th 2019 - I started with the spinal decompression process. The start weight applied was 38 lbs. After 8 visits, I finally got a fresh MRI done. The results showed more damage than anticipated. The bulge was 8mm -- traversing L5 nerve root(hence the calf pain) I had disc degeneration(L3 L4 and L4 L5) Shallow concave left scoliosis(hence the misaligned pelvic) Dr Klein recommended I continue with the treatment as he could see it was helping me. One month (approximately 15 visits) I began to see a difference. I could manage my pain better. The number of pain medicines went down from 4-5 to 1-2. I could walk a few steps without holding onto anything. I still had intense calf pain. Dr Klein prepared me this might take longer to recover or might not even cease. Two months (approximately 27 visits) I could stand. I could walk from my bedroom to the kitchen which is 20 steps -- without holding on to the walls. I could manage myself better. I started eating more. (I lost 10 lbs. Eating certain food aggravated my pain.) Driving was still an issue. But my pain medication went to one dose every alternate day. The calf pain decreased but didn't vanish. And, I was okay as I knew it will take time. Jump to May 29th 2019. Now I visit once a week. I drive. But I only drive when required. I can walk. (Just started walking in my neighborhood) I can stand without bending. And my pelvic is back to its normal position. My calf pain doesn't exist. I have followed Dr Klein's recommendation and follow it to T. And, will -- so that I don't go back to hurting again. I sincerely thank Dr Klein. Several months ago I started to look for a good chiropractor in Fremont do to my back pain , muscle spasms tingling and burning in my legs as well as limitations with my neck. In 2013 had a total disc replacement and if I met dr Klein at that time probably would think 10x more or at least tried his treatment , before making the decision about surgery. Doctor Klein was very patient with me when I came to see him for the first time and he still is. After hearing me and doing physical exam we made a plan . I can say that after 4-5 visits ( I was seeing him 3x a week) I could see and feel the difference. I used to wake up screaming from burning sensation in my legs or cramps. Since I started seeing Dr Klein it decreased significantly. I couldn't turn my neck , specifically to the right side, now I can move. I do have severe spinal stenosis C4/5 , modarate 3/4 and a total disc replacement c4/5. I'm not thinking about surgery at this time as long as Dr. Klein can help me. I'm still seeing him and will continue as long as I don't need to go "under the knife " because my philosophy is once something is broken it's broken! You can patch , glue ... do everything but on the end there is a scar , and I already have one. This is just me and my opinion. I'm not telling anyone to do anything ! I found Dr. Klein b/c a friend had visited him a while back, when he hurt his back. When I first told him I was in pain, he didn't hesitate and said "you've got to see Dr. Klein!". I had just gotten married, and I was suffering from back pain and sciatica, but didn't know it. When I first arrived, I had my consult and xrays taken, and to my surprise, I was short on one leg and had a worn disk. Coming to get treated by Dr Klein was a true blessing; after four adjustments I was truly feeling better. He is by far the most humane, amiable, and understanding doctor I've ever been to. He gets right to the problem, gives it solution and after a couple treatments you are sure to feel excellent, he's truly an expert at his job! I am a 71 year man who for years thought that my body was just starting to wear out with age, after getting to the point where i could barely put my sock and shoes on a friend gave me a gift of seeing Dr. Klein to see if i could have a better quality of life. Before I met Dr. Kline I was in a lot of pain. Every morning was a struggle getting out of bed. I run heavy equipment so my body takes a beating. It was getting to the point where standing up felt like I was being stabbed in the back. Around the same time my girlfriend's dad was also having neck and numbness in his hands. He became a patient of Dr. Kline and told me how his neck pain had gone away and how he now had feeling in his hands. He told me to make an appointment. The first meeting I had with Dr. Kline consisted of a consultation, X-rays, and an adjustment. Dr. Kline walked me through the results of my X-Ray and came up with a plan of treatment. I'm really glad I found Dr. Klein! I have been suffering from neck, shoulder and lower back problems for at least the last 7 years due to working on the computer the whole day. I visited other doctors and got adjusted or got massages or an acupuncture once in a while but all that just didn't help to reduce the pain permanently. I don't remember a day getting up without any pain in my back. Two months ago I decided to go to Klein Chiropractic. At my first appointment he did a complete examination and he also took x-rays of the back area and examined it. From all this he created a treatment plan (no one did that before). First I got adjusted three times a week, then two times and now I just have to get the adjustment once a week. I also use the neck traction machine which I think really helps me. He also gives you advise what you can do yourself at home (icing, different tools) to fasten the healing process and get maximum results. I'm already feeling so much better!! Found Dr. Klein using Yelp. The review were good and and his office was not to far from our home. Hurt my left lower back lifting a 5 gallon bucket of gravel, stupid. Tried healing at home for a week. I was not getting better so I said it was time to call a professional. Luckily, their office is open until 7pm. I emailed and got a reply a short while later. I was able to setup and appt for that evening at 6:30. I hobbled into the office, the staff was kind and helpful. I had an initial consult with Dr. Klein. The first adjustment can be a bit scary, but he was very mindful of my pain. My pain level was about an 8 or 9 out of 10. It went well that first night. It's now been two weeks. Lots of ice packs on the back each day. Visits to the office 3 times a week for two weeks. Pain level is now a 1 to 2. Still careful as the healing is ongoing for several more weeks. I had a very severe lower back strain that would not go away with my usual yoga, walking & icing. A coworker recommended seeing a chiropractor which I had never considered before. He told me that he had a similar issue and that it took him 3 months to feel right again and only about 1 month to start feeling much better. I found Dr. Klein and his office staff to be quite friendly. He is very willing to take time with patients to explain what he's doing and to adjust when necessary. After about 3 weeks I was still waking up in the night with pain but then it started to diminish and in two more weeks I barely noticed any discomfort. I must admit I wondered if my 56 year old body was going to heal. But it did and I must thank Dr. Klein and his staff for taking good care of me. He's knowledgeable and kind. He explained to me in details about my conditions and guided me through the whole recovering process. He also recommend me his lawyer for my case. I've been going to Dr. Klein for about 6 months now and the results have been amazing. Between his adjustments and using his traction machines to help stretch and break up scar tissue, my pain level is at the lowest it's been in 10 years since I was injured in the military. I am finally able to work full time again and my pain has decreased enough for me to get out and get back to doing the things that I used to love doing. A few months ago, I was determined to rake the lawn and trim the bushes. I lasted 10 minutes raking and threw in the towel. It felt like I raked for 3 hours. Each week I would try and go out and do yard work and push myself, but my lower back was too Weak and stiff. Dr. Klein is a complete pro. I was rear-ended and had terrible back pain. after about 1.5 months w/ Dr. Klein my back has never felt better. He's definitely a well seasoned veteran and knows what the heck he's doing. this was my first automobile injury accident. I wasn't sure what to do. Dr. Klein diagnosed my situation and gave me suggestions on what I should do next. This was very informative and helped me a lot. I'm not exactly sure how he did it, but my back feels better now then at any previous time in my adult life.
