After MULTIPLE VISITS countless errors and grueling communications with management 4 managers over they do not stand by their customers! It is with REGRET and saddened by the BAD BUSINESS practices of this once before staple in VALLEJO that I am REPORTING this HUGE error to the community. My car was there for 10 days but in that time I was in a rental car and my day yo day was uninterrupted. While in service I was regularly updated on my parts, paint, having to have it towed to their Benicia facility for work to be done there. They brought it back from there, dealt well with my insurance company and even conveniently took the rent a car back to Enterprise for me! I just picked up my beautiful car and went home! ZERO STARS. This place should be shut down due to the incompetence of the people who work here. The lack of communication is terrible. The quality of work is horrendous. And the lack of customer service is non existent. This place is a dumpster fire yet they will gladly take ur money and damage ur vehicle and not complete the work as well and expect you to go to the dealer and pay for a diagnostic to confirm that the damage was not them who caused it. They cut the wires to my camera on my car and expected me to pay for it when this was never an issue whatsoever. The camera and liftgate were to never be touched. I brought my car in to have a broken reflector replaced and a side fender to be repaired. Instead they returned my car unfinished and with a damaged camera where they cut the wires. I brought it to the dealer and now I have to pay for something KLIMISCH damaged for no reason. Absolutely horrible experience. Every time I would be told they were doing something, they would not follow through. It was so bad that my insurance company had to get them on the phone. I ultimately had my car towed from their shop to a different shop to repair my car. By the way, Klimisch took my car apart and would not put it back in the condition they received it in. Seems this shop gets one of two reviews, a five or a one. Well, mine was "five" all the way. Klimisch took this job as a transfer from their sister shop, G & C in Benicia. Ryan Skidmore jumped on things, and kept me up to speed with every step (parts ordered, tear down, install, calibration, test drive). If I called for an update, he called back in MINUTES. How often does that happen with ANYTHING in life? Besides great customer relations, the quality of the work was sterling, also. This is my daughter's car, so nothing is more important to me than solid, safe work. I had an appointment to drop off my car for damage repairs on 7/10/2023 scheduled through my Geico Insurance. I show up early Monday the adjuster goes to take a look at my vehicle take pictures and just complain of how much work it will be to fix the car's damages. (Huge Red Flag) But promises to send photos and an estimate to Geico. It has been 5 days and Geico sent me a message that Klimisch's-XD told them I NEVER MADE IT TO MY APPOINTMENT!!! Really Klimisch's-XD if you do not want to work on a car say that but don't lie and say a potential customer did not make it to the appointment. Took my car here after my mom recommended it to me. i had an accident and i could not have went to a better place. From the moment i walked in to drop my car off Lily at the front desk gave such a warm welcome that made me feel like i was at the right place and they would definitely be taking care of my baby. Will(Wilbert Argo) was the man i was in constant contact with in regards to the repairs of my car and he too was so welcoming and knowledgeable and patient. My insurance company is so crapy and lacked the patience and ability to explain how this whole process of going through a shop that was outside of the recommended one but Will was very nice and made sure to text and email and even pick up the phone every time i called. The office is clean and it doesn't take more than 10 minutes for someone to help or even acknowledge you once you step i to the office. I brought in my car on Feb 19,2024 to fix left side impact collision on my vehicle. They had my car for almost one month (3/18/2024) and they told me 2 weeks at most to fix the vehicle. They keep giving me excuses as to why it wasn't finished yet. When I finally picked up my vehicle, my doors weren't locking/unlocking and my remote start won't work and they were working fine when the vehicle was dropped off at the shop. I went back the following morning and complained the issues, whom I spoke to their manager. I called again a couple days later because I haven't heard anything from them and still haven't heard from them since they told me they will call back for further investigation. They got their money from my insurance and I am still hoping and waiting for them to fix the electrical problem on my vehicle. I am really not happy with whats going on. read more

Honestly super disappointed. Brought my car 4/10/23 and they kept giving me the run around and saying my car would be ready the next day. It wasn't and that went on for a full week. Until my insurance started talking to them and the manager agreed if my car wasn't done the following Monday they would be paying for my rental. Of course, they got it done. But the paint job is TERRIBLE. They sent a photo of what is supposed to be my car's hood and door waiting to be painted and it buffed out. However, when j received my car there is a bunch of little chips on the hood and he told me they are "previous rock marks" and they would have to strip the hood and buff it. But isn't that what they told me they did? To top it off, I had specifically set my broken mask in my center console with it sticking out just a tiny bit. I have photos with dates before I gave them my car. And there should not be ANY reason they needed to go in my center console. When I received my car the mask was sticking out way more than what I put it at, and a $2 bill (which are somewhat rare) is gone. I'm so disappointed and I'm speaking to my insurance about this. My daughter sustained very minor damage on her vehicle. We filed a claim with Geico and brought her vehicle to Klimisch's on a Wednesday (2-1-23) as they were a preferred Geico repair facility. The shop promised they would send photos and an estimate to Geico the same day. Well today is Saturday and Geico still has not received anything from Klimisch. They may be holding off on turning in the info to Geico until my daughter commits to them repairing her vehicle. Holding her hostage. Unethical. Today is 2-6-23, Klimisch still hasn't sent photos and estimate to Geico. My daughter personally sent in photos to Geico this date and Geico will prepare an estimate for us in the next 15 minutes I will file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, Bureau of Automotive Repair and California Department of Insurance. read more

I took my car here to get fixed July 14 The day I got my car back I took my car home and parked it in the garage.. I had not driven it I go out the next day and I see the paint is peeling off so I called them I take my car back in and they say that I must've did something and nicked it because the way it looked that was not the paint peeling off.. Had me on hold for 20 minutes to find the person and I had to call back. Due to COVID19 did not get a chance to return the car until now. I want to share my great experience with everyone. This place is honestly the best Auto body place I've ever had to deal with. Some lady had hit my car so I had to deal with her Insurance so they gave me a list of a few different shops to chose from and Klimisch was the first one I called. Im glad they answered. The receptionist was out on lunch but Jay had answered the phone. He was very helpful and very informative of the process. It helped ease my mind from me having to get a rental and all of that. From when I had my appointment for the estimate and when they were finished with my car, Jay kept me up to date every step of the way it was so reassuring knowing what's going on and they just don't put you on the back burner. They also gave me a ride to the rental car place to pick up the rental and when I came to pick up my car I was able to just leave the rental there and they took care of it. I am so happy I chose them, I also liked that I didn't have to talk to a whole bunch of different people if I had questions no matter how small my questions where, Jay helped me every step of the way. I am extremely disappointed with the level of discourtesy and unprofessionalism from the new staff at Klimsch. I recently found out from Connie Klimisch, the previous owner, that they sold the business and it's now under new management. My family of five has been taking our cars for repairs at Klimisch since early 2000. Under the supervision of Dennis and Connie, we had no complaints about Klimisch's. Connie herself helped us every time we were there, and they and their staff treated us with awesome service that always went beyond our expectations. My car was rear ended last year January 2021. I took the car to Klimisch's and they replaced the rear bumper. After a week, I notice a warp in the center of the upper part of the bumper. I brought it back to Klimisch's, where one of the technicians, Danny, checked it out and advised it was manufacturer's error. They fixed my car within a week, at no charge and with much apology, which I sincerely appreciated. When I was cleaning my car earlier this month, I noticed the warp is back in the exact same spot on my rear bumper. I immediately reached out to Connie Klimisch via email, and that's how I first found out that she and Dennis no longer own Klimisch's. We were sad to discover they are no longer the owners, as as they had treated us fairly, amicably and respectfully for many years, and their work on our vehicles was top-notch. Only because my family and I have been loyal Klimisch's customers did I decide to give the new owners a try, although I was a bit hesitant, especially knowing it was no longer a family-owned business, but a corporate one. I called and spoke with David to schedule time to have them at look my car. David said he would refer my concerns to his manager Devaughn, and asked me to bring the car and paperwork to help research the repair. I came in and was greeted by welcoming receptionist. She was very helpful. She mentioned Devaughn her general manager is out picking up parts. He'll be back in half hour. In the meantime a supervisor came out to help me. From the minute he came out of the office I knew something is wrong. His body language and tone of voice was not welcoming at all. He did not say hello or introduced himself he simply asked "Where's your car?" I lead him outside to my car. I pointed the warped area of the bumper in exact same place as last years. He then proceeded to point old nicks on the right upper right rear brake lights that is too far from from the warping. He kept pointing what he called "damage" he also called on the left side of the bumper. He then made an assumption that due to all the other "damages" that's present in the car "this could be the cause of the warping and this is not covered by the warranty" I was deeply disappointed and frustrated with his assumption. He did not research nor looked at my old file regarding the original warping. Danny the technician mentioned it was the manufacturers error. There's obvious reasons why the bumper warped last year when they first fixed it. The bumper is not up to standard. Klimisch has a lifetime warranty in their workmanship. He came to a conclusion and said "This warranty is voided due to damages in the car." The supervisor kept pointing at the damages and kept going around the main (warping of center bumper) same issue as last year I bought my car. took my car here to get the damage fixed after an accident. ended up leaving w. ruined items, and a small dent in a door they were supposed to had replaced. Today I took my Genesis in to get an estimate for my bumper. Jay looked at it and gave me two option. Since I wanted to pay out of pocket a temporary fix was my best option for the time being. He had a tech named Luis take a look and he determined that he could make the repairs in a couple of minutes. Sure enough it was completed and I'm a very satisfied customer.
