Dora at the front helped me set up this appointment and she spoke excellent English and Spanish. Most of the staff speak both languages, so if you're nervous about communication, I wouldn't worry about it if you don't speak Spanish. They are very organized and communicate quickly via email and WhatsApp. They offer a shuttle service pick up, which is easy. As soon as you cross the border, the pick up area is right outside the gates and the pharmacy. The driver gives you about a 10-minute grace period for your pick up appointment. However, if you miss it for whatever reason, the uber is under $5 to get to the office. For your appointment, you receive a QR code which you will scan to get through to the elevators. The QR code will only work 15 minutes before your appointment. This is to manage the amount of people in the waiting room. There is still a seating area in the first floor if you're early. Dr. Alexandra performed my cleaning and she was super nice. There is a TV on the ceiling and they even ask about your favorite music to have it on while they work on you. This was the most at ease I've felt at the dentist.

I started this journey to finally replace broken teeth and fill in the back teeth I'd been missing for years. A family friend who works in dental tourism referred me here (he's got contacts all over Mexico if anyone needs a referral -- his site is cancunallonfour.com). After my initial consultation, we scheduled surgery to remove 14 teeth and place my implants. Dr. Leo is honestly the best -- I had some bone loss going in, but he assured me it wouldn't be an issue, and he was right. He didn't rush the bridge either; he wanted the implants to heal fully and the bone to integrate completely first. Four months later I went back to have the posts placed, and I'd healed so well we skipped temporaries and went straight to the zirconia bridge. Dr. Challi did the actual teeth, and she's truly an artist. I stayed a full week to make sure everything was perfect, and it is. They treated me with so much respect the whole way through. The clinic is at New City Medical Plaza, literally five minutes from the border, and the hotel on the other side of the plaza is excellent too -- we stayed there both trips, and the whole team was there for us every step. And I almost forgot the best part: between the surgery, the teeth, and all the time they spent with me, the total cost was about 70% less than what I'd been quoted in the US. I was given 4 Front Teeth Crowns, giving the Dentist valuable information about my dental history including the fact all 4 front teeth were FRAGILE because of a previous accident and all 4 having root canals. The first incident was when she was working on my teeth (shaving them down) her husband barged into the room and spoke to her right while I was under the table. So unprofessional!! He then starts openly harassing her asking how much longer and that he had the car waiting. She immediately started rushing and did a horrible job putting in my teeth temporary covers "temporary crown" that was made from a mold of my natural teeth before she shaved them down. The mold was jagged and painful to my teeth and gums for several days but I endured because they were only temporary until my crowns would be put in. The second Incident was when she was doing my X-rays she did not offer me the Lead cover to protect my thyroid from the X-Ray Gamma Rays. It was only provided the cover the following appointment when I asked for it. The third incident occurred when she was taking off my temporary Crown Cover (mind you this thing is all one mold) She once again seemed like she was in a hurry and rushed to take it off and in the process Snapped off a large chunk of my natural Tooth!! Also these things are already tiny since that is how they are prepped for Crowns. I felt the pressure and extreme discomfort from her mutilating my tooth and her response was ohh I bet your gums hurt that's normal. I immediately protested that my tooth WAS NOT CHIPPED BEFORE! To which she immediately starts change the subject and put my Crowns on to try. When I see these crowns I almost burst into tears of RAGE. They looked like pieces of square gum from the store. All one color completely not natural, and a florescent White. Again I begin protesting that this was NOT what I asked for that these were horrible. I also told her I had a flight to catch and wasn't sure this could be fixed in time. She assured me it could be! And she proceeded to fix the "little channel" she made on my tooth NO YOU SNAPPED PART OF MY TOOTH OFF CALL IT WHAT IT IS!! And once again a fake mold was placed on my teeth in the interim. She assured me the crowns would be fixed and sent them back to the lab. 2 hours later the crowns were back!' Fourth Incident. Similar to the third once again... what is the point of the molds? To protect the teeth right!? THEN TELL ME WHY ALL OF MY TEETH WERE CRACKED THIS TIME!!! At this point I was fed up and just wanted my crowns on and to not miss my flight that would cost me over $700 in Airfare and personal costs if I missed it. Fifth incident I agree to the crowns being better because I was convinced that turning the light overhead on would make them "look worse than they are" THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN MY FIRST RED FLAG when she didn't want to turn that light on. I got them cemented out of anxiety and frustration. What other options did I have at this point!?! Get another fake mold and lose the 10% of my teeth I have left? I got the crowns on and told her there was gapping behind my Most left tooth my tongue could feel, she just said she's polish it but it wasn't fixed I can still feel the gapping. I also told her my teeth feel tight and uncomfortable. She said it was normal and would go away. It has not gone away my teeth that should have no feeling HURT!' So crowns are CEMENTED. I asked to use the bathroom at this point where I turned on the Circle Vanity Mirror. My heart immediately sank when I saw my new teeth were significantly different than my natural Teeth. Still looking awful although improved. At this point I was DONE. I was defeated and so genuinely AFRAID. I was scared for what was left of my teeth and decided to accept the consequences of my actions. The outside of the building was enough to tell me this place was not good! I didn't listen to my gut! Please don't make the same mistake. I vowed I wouldn't let these horrendous people touch my teeth even again and left in tears after paying in full for my treatment. I will be finding a new dentist to fix the horrible job they did on my teeth. Please pray for me. I need it.
