This restaurant has since changed it's name from Klüddes Smokehouse & Saloon to "Cornerstone Barbeque". That said, the ambiance and basic menu remains pretty much unchanged. I still find the manner in which they serve food (especially steaks & meat dishes) atop a piece of paper on a tray vs. on a dish, irritating. I find it impractical to place a steak atop a piece of paper, such that as you attempt to cut the meat (or burger) with a serrated knife, your knife shreds the paper beneath, resulting in the kife catching & paper becoming 'one with your steak'. As far as the service is concerned, it's a small restaurant, so, if it's not busy (a good likelihood) service is good. read more

Four ladies met here for drinks and food on a Wednesday night. We sat outside, drinks arrived 20 minutes after ordering. Food was ordered, and arrived quickly after drinks. We clearly stated that we wanted to enjoy our drinks before dinner. The food was good, our server was friendly but very slow to check back on our table. This place would be 4+ stars if they invested in training their staff. IMO they had plenty of staff, they just are not customer focused. Thank you for the delicious food. Stopped by this place for a drink during Winter fest last Saturday nite. I ordered a house Vodka and tonic. I live in San Diego and one of my favorite places is George's at the cove in La Jolla. This place overlooks the ocean with a stunning view and if you order a drink you expect to pay for the view as well as the drink because of the location. My drink at Kludes was $8.80 the same cocktail at George's is $7.50 HELLO THIS IS YUCAIPA !! Not sure how they think that will be sustainable but I can tell you I will never get the chance to try the food because I will not be back at those prices. Good luck guys read more

First time at this location. Saw that they had burger specials on Wednesdays so we had to try one. The burger was very good and that coming from someone who doesn't eat burgers too often. This one was worth it. Very flavorful and cooked to perfection. The fries had a good seasoning on them and the elote was delicious. The burgers were $2 off on Wednesdays. TL:DR: Service was horrible. Waited over an hour for food until we decided to get up an leave. People that got there later than us got their food before us. Save your experience, Do not come here. Wow.... Worst experience I've every had at an eating establishment. I wish I could give an honest opinion about the food but I didn't even get that far before walking out those doors. This is solely on the service provided. I walk in with my family, the place isn't busy at all, and we get seated. Waited 10 minutes after getting seated before our server asks us what we wanted to drink. We hang out as a family until we notice the food taking a long time considering THERE WERE ONLY 3 TABLE BEING SERVED. Our server comes over and tells us " our food is on the way" then hits us with a " would you like some forks and knives for your food"? As if we were ok with eating with our hands instead. After an hour and a half of waiting and seeing other people, who got there later than us, getting their food, we had enough. Talked to the hostess about our experience and left. There are many dining location in yucaipa that are exceptional but kluddes IS NOT one of them. read more

Their hamburger was awesome. I think their "secret" ingredient is the bacon jelly. It was awesome. I was a little annoyed when I was told that to substitute fries for a half salad would cost extra. On the menu a half salad cost less than the fries. I brought up that fact and wasn't charged extra. But to be fair perhaps she thought I wanted a full salad. It took a while for the food to get to the table, but that could be due to a late arrival at the restaurant approx 2 pm. You can tell the size of the glass by the little lemon hanging off the side. 4 sips and the drink was gone. What a Rip off. I mentioned it to the waitress and she said "would you like to order another one". I said "no thank you. I don't really want to pay $10 for another cup of ice that had little to no alcohol." My girlfriend and I just stopped in looking for a quick bite and beer. Walked in and stood in front of the host station for a min with out any type of greeting or recognition of any sort from any employee. There was not any type of "plz wait to be seated" sign so we decided to grab an empty table. After about 10 mins of employes making eye contact and walking by with 0% interaction, literally not even a hello from anyone! we decided leave. Very racy vibe with my gf and I being Mexican, I'm 6'3 235lbs and felt invsable *It was not busy! Almost left but they quieted down ( kind of) and we really wanted to try this place out. They were out of the beer we like but had a decent alternative. Our waitress was really great. It's pretty small but cool vibe ( except for the loud vulgar lady). If you want to hang out with friends and watch a game and get some grub and beers, this seems like a great place to do so. This place is hit or miss. We've been coming here on weekends for the past couple years at least. they keep changing the menu, not sure why. Got the tri-tip nachos. The tri-tip was decent, but the chips were stale as hell. It wasn't too busy however the service was somewhat slow. Food was delicious but over priced for the portions. Waitresses are very on their "A-game" and management is hard working and cares for their customers. The female bartender is a bit rude and not that welcoming, but at least she gets her job done I guess. We never got to taste the food, the service is below ranking and the ambiance, there wasn't one. (I added a star merely because it exists) There were only restrooms, one the look was broken, the other one was D.I.R T.Y! When I asked the server if they could get someone to clean the restroom without the broken lock, she got upset and never returned to get our order. Since it seems I upset her, I went to the bar tender to please give my apologies for offending our server, I wasn't trying to be offensive, and that I am sorry. This place is terrible! My wife and I have been here twice, which is once too many. They have horrible service. They only have one waitress working, who was clearly overworked running everywhere. The menus are falling apart held by tape. Menu is overpriced and the food is nothing to write home about. The walls battered and in need of repair. I don't know about you, but if I was the owner of a restaurant, and there was no cook, I would be here cooking.Cmon, this used to be a great restaurant. What is going on? This is a newly opened restaurant, so a group of us went for lunch yesterday to give them a try, and they did not disappoint! Warm and friendly service and always attentive. The burgers were stacked a mile high; the brisket was flavorful and smokey. One person in our group raved over the elk chili. I've never had a Monte Cristo, so I had to try that and enjoyed the homemade berry compote that accompanied the sandwich. It was so large, I took half of it home when the server recommended to heat it up in the air fryer, so I was able to get two meals out of my order. Cute little location next to brewcaipa. Parking is limited in old town Yucaipa. I'll have to come back for lunch/dinner but the armadillo wrap wasn't as spicy as I thought it was going to be with the jalapeño. The tatter tots was a big size serving with a lot of flavor that my friend got. I didn't like how the beer list was on a screen where you had to stand and go look at. I think a QR code would be much more efficient where they're able to still modify their list online therefore not having to print out a new list of beers when they change it. Service was ok for a Friday night and wasn't crowded at all, however the downtown Redlands location is always crowded on weekends. read more

Although it's impossible to order food for pickup here, it is very delicious. The Texas tots and the brisket burger are fantastic and flavorful. The tacos, any of the tacos you select, are extremely good. You'll never get enough. The service is pretty good too. Ordered a drink from the bar during dinner and it showed up after our table was cleared. Heard the song WAP 3 times in less than 45 mins. That's the short version.
