Excellent customer service. Pizza was exactly as ordered and was made in a quick and timely fashion. Not to mention they offer gluten free crust! Overall, the pizza was tasty but they didn't get the 5th star because they were a bit too conservative with the toppings. Not the best pizza I've ever had but fairly priced and good. read more

The service was a little slow but it's a new restaurant so it's understandable. I really like the "build it yourself" idea. It's almost like a subway just for pizza. It's well worth the small wait you have. The Carolina BBQ pizza is awesome! So over all, it's a new business so it's till working out it's kinks but will soon be a Lexington specialty. read more

Sorry they don't have negative stars. Used to love this place. Have eaten here many times in the past. They have a salad there where you can pick 1 meat, 1 cheese and any vegetables you want. I don't eat meat so right there the restaurant is saving money on me. We went the other night and when asked what salad dressing I wanted I said just some oil on the side. This is my usual order. This time I was told that there is a surcharge for oil (never happened before) - I was charged $2 extra and was handed a tiny portion cup which was not even half full. It was literally a teaspoon of oil, wasn't even enough to cover the salad and there was so little of it I couldn't even taste it. The salad was served on a metal tray instead of a plate or bowl (also never happened before) which was quite unappetizing. Several pieces of slimy, spoiled lettuce were found while eating. The main appeal Knead has to me is that they are the only pizza place in town that offers a wheat crust. I decided to try them out tonight and picked up a to-go order. When I got home, I discovered that this was not at all a wheat crust. They got another minor detail wrong on the order too. Two strikes. The pizza was eh. The salad was eh. It was $30 for a pizza, salad and bread sticks for my husband and I, so I expect better than pizza hut quality, which is what I would equate it to. My biggest issue is that their main schtick is fresh and local, like a farm-to-table type place. I feel like they just picked a few buzz words to use as their main marketing scheme because this did not taste fresh and local to me. read more

Consistently good food and service! We always get the same pizza (pepperoni, mushrooms, peppers and Italian saugage) with side salads. All of the ingredients are VERY fresh and the veggies are the BEST! They also have some good craft beer selections. We have become local regulars and can't wait for our date night there! read more

Great experience overall. Staff was extremely friendly and engaging and made you feel right at home. There are a nice selection of craft beers on tap. The pizzas were really good and made with fresh ingredients. And they were cooked perfectly in what seemed like no time! Must have been less than 4 minutes but I didn't measure. I'm still not sure how they accomplish that when everybody else is 10 to 20 minutes. Definitely worth a return visit. read more

A really interesting concept. It's like chipotle but with pizza. I usually make my own: pepperoni, sauce, cheese. I really like the Buffalo chicken pizza. My only negative comment is they got rid of the chocolate peanut butter pizza. It was SO good. read more

Found this place by accident and am glad I did. They made me a margherita pizza on request and it was one of the best I have had. Everyone was really nice, and I had a great conversation with the owner. He explained that their products are all natural & preservative free, from meats to cheese. They have a good selection of beer on tap too. read more
