Delicious food, great service, and an extensive and inventive menu! Everyone from the host, bussers, and server, to the owner were very friendly, attentive, and accommodating. They were very busy (definitely recommend calling ahead to join the waitlist!) but were fully on top of it. The bananas foster waffle was amazing!! The french toast was great, especially with the warm blueberries on it. Especially as a breakfast/brunch lover, it was wonderful to see so many options and was hard to pick what to order! The portions were very nice and there were plenty of bananas and blueberries on the waffle/french toast. The covered patio is so cute, with a nice green roof and thoughtful decor (the flower speakers are adorable!). Even in the rain, the patio was able to stay open air and the rain didn't impact us at all. read more

I went to Figmor three times between June 6 and today, June 15. Each time was a different experience: the first time I went, it was very early and I was alone. I had a waitress that wouldn't stop yapping to me -very annoying. The food was great -excellent- but there was so much of it that it was almost disgusting. I told the waitress to tell Joey that the portion size is too big-because it was just too much food. The second time I went with someone -we both enjoyed the breakfast- but a waitress was cleaning the table next to us when it vacated with some sort of ammonia solution, and it ruined both of our appetites. The third time I went with another person -a different person -we ordered eggs and toast for $7.99. I ordered an extra steak tips which is offered on the menu for seven dollars expecting that to add up to $14.99 for my portion of the bill. Instead the waitress billed me $20.49 -which is a 10 ounce sirloin steak and eggs breakfast. BIG DIFFERENCE. I pointed out That the verbiage on the menu indicates that you can order the steak tips on a classic breakfast, which mine is. For seven dollars extra. This beast of a waitress said that they'll do it (the right thing) this one time -but from now on even if you order just steak tips or the steak and eggs that's the 10 ounce steak cost is $20.49. This makes no sense Joey. So that's why I only raised my review of one star. The food is excellent, but there is still lots of room for growth. read more

Nice, centrally located cafe in NT. Plenty of parking. We went as a party of 3 on a Saturday morning. Only had about a 10 minute wait. Small entryway but luckily it was nice outside so we walked around and visited the cheesecake place next door! Service was good, staff were friendly, food was tasty and the menu is pretty big. One of my favorite breakfast and brunch spots! The food is consistently excellent, and they offer a great selection of Eggs Benedict options, along with mimosas and Bloody Marys. Be prepared for a wait on weekends, it's popular for a reason, but it's well worth it. Highly recommended! read more

Charming little cafe with a Golden Girls theme running through out the restaurant. Everything from beautifully painted portraits of the characters to bobbleheads all about the place , it's quant and comfy. Open from 7am to 3pm Saturday and Sunday And 7:30 am till 3:00 pm Monday through Friday with a very welcoming attentive staff it's a fun place to hand out. Their menu is eggs in a multitude of ways and sandwiches along with a selection of avocado toast and waffles. And don't forget pancakes. I ordered the Marika Special which consisted of three lemon, blueberry and ricotta pancakes with lemon zest on top and a side of hash browns. The pancakes were delicious and you could really taste the essence of lemon and there were plenty of blueberries. The hash browns were tasty not too thick or soggy but I wouldn't mind a bit more brown crispy bits. It's a nice place to stop by if you're in the area. Only one tiny issue ... the chairs weren't conducive to comfort. So that world given the size of the restaurant and the amount of customers waiting I think. read more

Folks in Buffalo know what the most important meal of the day is.. It is breakfast and in Buffalo there are many options for breakfast. If you are fortunate, you will discover one or more amazing places to enjoy a good start to your day. We had such a discovery on a raining windy Monday morning in North Tonawanda. Figmor Cafe Is at the end of the block on which the Riviera theater sits. The exterior is appealing but when you open the door you will be welcome. with love and happiness. the interior is absolutely a comforting type of place to enjoy a breakfast or another meal. we were seated pretty close to the front door, but I soon discovered a really cool back room and an outdoor enclosed patio. The staff member told me it was too windy and rainy to see people on the patio on this day. the menu has all the classics but it also has some really special special menu items created just for this eatery. They had several different Benny's but most importantly they had authentic homemade corned beef hash, which is always my test of a place that serves breakfast. I went for their cowboy Benny which had corned beef hash underneath the perfectly prepared eggs. Their home fries were just right with peppers and onions (there is a slight up charge). My dining partners' selections were prepared perfectly as well!! perfectly prepared food that tasted delicious with a great atmosphere and superb staff! My coffee was so good and the waitress kept a careful eye and when the cup dropped below the midpoint level she was there to top it off. One of the pleasant surprises was Joe who knew where I lived in New Jersey and had vacationed in Ocean City, New Jersey which was the vacation location of one of us but during her youth. what a great place for breakfast and I'm sure we will return there again. upon leaving. This place is super cute. We went for breakfast. The host was really friendly and chatty while we waited (maybe 10 minutes for a 2 top on a Saturday morning). We were seated in one of the back dining rooms - it's bigger inside than it looks! It was busy inside with great vibes. The cocktail menu has drinks named after all of the Golden Girls, which was super cute, but we didn't order cocktails that day. For breakfast, I had one of the regular menu items that had eggs, home fries, spicy Italian Chicken sausage, and peppers and onions. I was really happy with my choice - I hadn't really considered sausage and peppers as a breakfast food, but it definitely is. The spicy sausage went really well with the eggs, and peppers and onions go with everything. My guy had biscuits and gravy with scrambled eggs, and from a Southern boy who is particular about his biscuits - no complaints! That was a really big portion, and he probably would have been OK without adding the eggs. Service was pretty quick, the food was good, and the place just has nice vibes. If we're back in Buffalo for another date weekend, this would go on the return to list. read more

Just recently heard about Figmor Cafe & knew I had to get here. Loved the name! Finally I Got My Own Restaurant. :) They're only open for breakfast & lunch (until 3:00). It looked quite crowded when we arrived but we were seated quickly. The hostess told us the bees were quite active on the patio so we decided to stay inside. Thank you! We both opted for breakfast items. I ordered a western omelet and my husband ordered a Philly skillet. We both ordered the house Bloody Mary. I enjoyed the whole meal but the Bloody Mary was SO good. We loved this place! We were fresh from the airport in our rental car - driving toward Niagara and I told my friend let's pull over and see if there is a nice place for brunch. We found Figamor on Yelp and when I saw it was Golden Girls themed that was it! We easily found it nearby, found parking and walked inside and were promptly seated on the back patio which is adorable. The inside is themed with some cute Golden Girls artwork, figures, and a neon "Thank you for being a friend" sign which is a cute photo op. There are a few themed drinks on the menu - the menu is HUGE and has tons of salads, sandwiches, breakfast items, and more. It was genuinely hard to choose what to get. In the end, my friend went with the Reuben sandwich and I had the Salmon Benedict. Both were stellar and we were super happy with our choice. Only downside was the coffee was awful... but the service was wonderful, decor and location is awesome and the theme is amazing! read more

Figmor didn't disappoint! To start, this lady tried to cut me in line to place her name first, the guy at the host stand didn't stand for it--loved that he handled it so well. It was busy (weekend brunch rush), so we waited about 45 minutes, but it was totally worth it. I had the lemon blueberry stuffed French toast which was delicious - only small note: a few blueberries still had the stems on. My husband ordered the Godfather and loved it. We also tried the mimosa flight which was really fun and a perfect touch for brunch. I love the plant motif and name of the restaurant. It's definitely a little tight and crammed in the back room and service just a bit slow. I will also note the taste of the roast of coffee they used for the iced coffee I didn't enjoy at all so I don't personally recommend that. But all in all excited to return and try it again! read more

My husband and I stopped after a trip to the farmers market. When we arrived, we're told it would be about a 20 minute wait, and it was well worth it! Staff were all super friendly and accommodating. We were seated on the patio, which was cute with a plant wall ceiling and plenty of coverage from the sun. I opted for breakfast - selecting the classic eggs Benedict and home fries. The egg was perfectly cooked, Canadian bacon delicious, and a great hollandaise! The potatoes were amazing! My husband ordered the patty melt and, again, the burger was a perfect medium. The homemade pickles were a great touch - and not like any pickles he's had before...a nice combination of sweet/dill with a hint of heat. With so many homemade items, I was surprised that the French fries weren't? Not great!! We ordered real Maple syrup and it was MOLDY!! I'm from VT and know that has to sit a while! I then ate my pistachio FT and it wasn't even cooked on doth side and so much filling that was tasteless my husband had to wait for new pancakes cause he had poured mold all over the 1st ones. We look forward to after church breakfast on Sunday at Figmor's every time we are in the Western New York area. We love sitting outside in the cosy patio (which is now overlooking a hole in the ground as they await the new neighbors and construction of whetever fills the hole!). The food is delicious and plentiful, the cost is pretty commensurate with other restaurants in the area. The staff is always very friendly and attentive. It's no wonder they always have a wait list on Sunday morning...breakfast is exceptionally good and the choices on the menu are great. read more

We had a fantastic experience at Figmor! This was our first time coming here, and we will make a point of coming back. We came around 10am on a Saturday. They took our name down as there wasn't an open spot for 2 immediately, but they had a table ready for us in about 15 minutes. When we sat down, our server quickly took our orders. The coffee was good. I had the avocado toast #3 which was delicious! The seasoning on the eggs was a great addition. My fiancé had the French toast with sides of bacon and eggs, and he really enjoyed everything. The room we sat in was filled up but it did not feel crowded. We'll be back! read more

I have been wanting to try this new cafe for quite awhile now , but they always have a long wait . After getting up fairly early this past Saturday , I decided to try my luck at getting a table , I was successful . A large selection of options , my companion got the Mexican omelette and I got a stuffed hot pepper one . Both omelettes came with home fries and toast . Coffee was hot and fresh . My omelette was very good - so much cheesy hot pepper flavor . Potatoes had way too much seasoning on them - too salty . My companion enjoyed his food except his steak in the omelette needed some seasoning - go figure . Our breakfast (with coffee ) went well above $40 - not a cheap eats . I've been wanting to try this place since I heard about the lavender blueberry mimosa. So good. You can also get a flight of four different mimosas for $20. I might like to try some other flavors, but I'd have to get two lavender blueberry mimosas. It was lunch time, and the lunch menu had more appeal. I took a chance on the turkey melt, and it paid off. While I like the idea of turkey sandwiches, they can be dry sometimes. This one was perfect. The bacon was good and fatty just the way I like it. The cheese and garlic aioli finished it off nicely. The bartender recommended sourdough for the bread, and it was excellent. I only finished half, but the other half tasted great at home after 30 seconds in the microwave. I upped my fries to truffle parmesan and requested an extra side of garlic aioli. Amazing. The fries were crispy and thin, almost shoe-string (my favorite). No sogginess or excess truffle oil on the bottom. Service is super friendly and the decor is amazing. I sat at the bar, which had these great green velvet barstools and I loved the green leaf placemats. The Golden Girls-themed touches were just right, and everything looked cozy and elegant. The only thing missing was cheesecake, but Just Say Cheesecake is right next door even though it was closed this Sunday afternoon. I definitely won't wait as long before my next visit. read more

Went to Figmor for the second time today. It's a cute little brunch place tucked away in Tonawanda, definitely on the smaller side so I recommend getting a reservation if you plan on going on the weekend. Our server was very friendly and fast. They were out of the ingredients for the drink originally ordered and the GF bun for the burgers. My friend got the mimosa flight and I got the martini espresso instead. My friend has celiacs and was very excited to eat somewhere that has good GF pancakes available for him so that was a plus. I got the banana pepper eggs Benedict which was very good with a side of bacon which was normal. Overall I think this place is a great addition to Tonawanda. read more

Found this cute place for breakfast on yelp so took my hubby here yesterday. Now we had a light breakfast earlier during the day BUT that is our fav meal so ofc we didn't mind eating breakfast (again). Since I'm not impressed with the breakfasts I've been having outside I went with the classic eggs, home fries, toast and bacon. Oh em gee, the rye bread was sooo good!!! I've never had a thick piece of soft rye toast like this and with the melted butter and rye-ish sprinkles it was YUM-OH! The eggs were good, bacon was crispy and home fries were hot - I'd prefer it a bit my crispy but it was not rock hard like I've had at other places so I won't be too picky. Hubby orders the steak skillet and it wasn't his fav. He didn't think it would be eggs on top on his chunky steak + pepper + home fries mixture so he was kinda sad all his food was touching each other (LoL!) but ate it nonetheless. He said he'd give it 3/5 stars but since it's not his yelp account I'll just note down what his review and star awarding was/is. It seems they've a small staff and we weren't in a hurry so it didn't bother us as our waitress was friendly and pleasant. Oh! They asked if we wanted to sit outside but we opted to stay in since it looked like it was going to pour (rain clouds). Next time we come back I want to try a Benny. Loved it soooooo much the first time , I invited a friend to join me for lunch. We were lucky and had Marcus again for our waiter. Started with a flight of Mimosa, yummy. Peach,Mango,Raspberry,Pineapple. You must try for $20. Next I ordered their crab Benny. Delicious. My friend had an omelet with a pancake on the side. He loved it. Have eaten here many times since Figmor first opened. The service this week was extremely slow. Sat for 10 minutes and then asked a worker if there would be someone taking care of us. We were seated next to the black shutters that were covered with a thick layer of dust. A complete turn off. The vinyl leaf placemats are virtually impossible to clean between customers. Paper placemats would be more sanitary. The plastic green foliage hanging from the ceiling is aesthetically pleasing, however there is a heavy layer of dust covering it. Cleanliness and food go hand in hand. Overall the restaurant needs a deep cleaning. The food was average and the coffee was bitter. Not sure if we will go back again. The quality of the food and service has gone down since Figmor first opened. read more
