First time coming to kneaders and this place is very similar to a panera bread! i got the combo which is a half sandwich with soup and a drink. i got the roast beef sandwich on a baguette. the sandwich was good other than the bread being just a little hard. clam chowder was surprisingly delicious. lots of clams and clam flavor. the staff seemed undermanned so we were patient. despite being undermanned, they maintained professionalism and were friendly. the vibe is again, similar to a panera bread and a cozy cafe. would come again to this location! read more

I ordered a Turkey Bacon Avocado salad. Most of the lettuce was the hearts and the lettuce was brown and had a lot of bad lettuce in it. A lot to pay when you throw most of the lettuce away. On the other hand the clam chowder soup was very good with the sour dough bread slice. Went there to eat with my daughter and it was a great experience! Tino, who took our order was very friendly and helpful. The sandwiches tasted really good! We were one of the last tables there before they closed and we didn't feel any pressure from them to leave. Nix (manager?), even gave us some free bread that was left over. Before we left, some guy came in and was very rude to the staff. But Nix and crew handled themselves very professionally, so much so that I felt like I needed stop by on our way out and express to them how impressed I was. I have always loved Kneaders and felt very disappointed that I came across so many issues. I ordered the French toast and coffee and could tell the strawberries that were given to me had been cut with the same knife used to cut onions. The coffee was cold and when I asked for fresh coffee it took so long that I was basically done with my food by the time it came out. My husband ordered the Italian omelette and the lady had said it came with basil but there was no basil in it when we got it. There was a huge water spill where all the condiments and utensils are and it took a while for someone to take care of it. When someone finally came to ask the name on my order they turned around and said "online pickup for James is here." I then waited almost another 40 minutes!!! to get my food. I would not recommend coming to this location. What is the point of ordering ahead if the order isn't ready when I get here? A pickup order should be ready when you say it is going to be. The employees seem to just be a bunch of people that are just running around like chickens with their heads cut off oblivious to the customers waiting in line? Kneaders is like a little home away from home. When you walk in, you are immediately hit with an aroma of baked goods and then you will see a bunch of yummy treats and cute decor. It's not only a little bakery/deli/cafe, but a little shop too where you can buy little trinkets. There were two christmas trees up and decorated and it felt like being at the North Pole in a Hallmark movie. Employees were working on putting little auction gifts together. I loved it! We ordered a peppermint brownie and one piece of chocolate silk pie this time. Both were delightful and creamy and chocolatey. I like to come for their fruit tarts and smoothies though, which are my very favorite! Their unlimited french toast with fresh strawberries is also delightful. I now wonder why I don't come more often. They have a rewards card as well, so earn up those points and get something for free! Their breakfast croissants are also good. I could go on and on. The Kneaders located off 2600 south in Bountiful needs some serious management attention before I return however . We had dinner there last night around 8:00pm . We were sitting in the area where the drinks are accessed and where the booths are also located, where we were sitting . Had just received our food and shortly there after, the night manager was making all kind of noise skootching the chairs around that were located at the small tables adjacent to the booths and putting them on top of the booth seats, so the floors could be swept I guess ... and made us wonder if they were getting ready to close. Upon asking her what time they close she said 9:00!! This is 8:10pm ! She said that that side of the restaurant takes longer to clean at closing time ! I guess she could tell that we were annoyed by all the noise she was creating along with us feeling like we had to hurry to finish our meal so they could clean that section of the restaurant and she finally stopped . Totally unprofessional . Our soup was semi warm at best , along with the panini . I had asked for a side of lemon for my soup and was told they don't have lemons any longer . Huh?
