During the fairy festival, my toddler and I stopped by. The only empty table was one of those standing-type tables with extremely high chairs. Putting my toddler on one of those chairs made me nervous, and I also didn't love sitting on something that felt so unstable (again--pregnant). I got a turkey sandwich and paid an extra dollar to have it heated up. I can't have cold meat when pregnant because of listeria. However, my sandwich was only heated to lukewarm, even though it was advertised as "hot" (and, again, I paid extra for the service). I returned to the counter and asked them to heat it again, explaining that it could jeopardize my health otherwise. The counter staff acted like I was extremely annoying and overall, it was a disappointing experience. The sandwich (still just kinda warm, not hot) was at least good, even though eating it made me feel nervous, and the mint brownie I also bought was delicious. I came again during Witch Fest, and even though the lines were longer, the service was better--but it could also be because I didn't have my sandwich heated that time.
