Stopped in for dinner last week. The dining area was clean and organized. Service line was quick and staff members were friendly. Our pizzas were large in portion and visually appealing. The reduction of 1 star was due to my pizza temperature. It arrived at the table warm...but, nowhere near hot. Not a huge game changer, but it would have been nice to have a little cheese "pull", when you bite into it. We were in a hurry, so I didn't say anything. Had I mentioned this... We ordered a Favo pizza and a Capris pizza with added chicken. The Favo was burned and tasted burned. I tried eating just the toppings but that didn't work well. They say they use five different cheeses so I was expecting a lot more cheese on it. Not much was on there. Paid $5 extra to add chicken to the Capris and got 5 tiny pieces of chicken. But the pizza did taste good. We used DoorDash to deliver and it was cold by the time we got it. Got a soda pop that tasted watered down. Probably because DoorDash took so long to get it to us, a lot of ice melted during the wait. Honestly Pizza Hut and Domino's is better, so I probably won't eat here again. read more

We had a great experience at this location! Both of the workers at the front counter were super nice and gave us great recommendations. The food came out shockingly fast and tasted delicious! I love their Caprese Pizza but wanted to try something different this time...I went with the Pera and was very pleased! The subtle sweetness of the pear balances perfectly with the saltiness of the prosciutto. I would've never thought to put the two together, but it works so well! It might have had a bit too much olive oil for my taste, but not enough to change how much I enjoyed it. I can't wait to come again and try more pizzas! read more

I gave this place a shot about a month and a half ago and I've ordered from it five times since. I have a few issues when it comes to gluten or dairy but I can eat 4 pieces easily all and feel OK. And I think it's because they use everything organic and it's just made right then and the ingredients are just fresh and delicious. I imagine this is what it would be like to eat a pizza in Italy. i've tried the pera pizza, the classic margherita Napoli pizza, the formaggi and now the limone. I think the owners and/or managers are telling the staff to get skimpy with the cheese, canadian bacon, basil, and blackberries. In particular, I keep getting pizzas that only have about 2/3rds of the cheese it should have. The last 3" of the outer crust does not have cheese. It only has red sauce and crust. The pizza is great but it's managed by teens. The first time I came here there were 3 teens eating in the back, one came up to the register wiping her mouth and playing with all of the cups. She couldn't recommend anything as she's never had the pizza. The plates were stacked up at least a foot on both garbage cans, windows and tables were all dirty. Odd for it being so slow and so many employees. The second time, there were three employees although two girls sat at the table letting the new guy bake all the pizzas and handle all of the customers. He even had to go confirm the exact recipe for our pizza with them. They could see all of the customers and him doing everything and remained sitting there...together, chillin at 7:30 p.m. Not impressed with the way this place is ran which is a bummer because the pizza is great. read more

I've had two disastrous experiences at the Bountiful pizzeria Limon. 1.the Menufy App is required to place an order. The app is cumbersome and the employees can't notify the customers when their pizzas are ready. Last time I ordered I waited for the app to tell me when my pizza was ready. When I finally went in 30 minutes later the pizzas were sitting there cold and given to me. No one offered to heat them no one offered to remake them. 2. It is my understanding there is no phone to take phone orders in the business. This is what the employee I spoke to tonight told me. She told me the employees are frustrated they can't take phone orders. 3. Tonight I placed an order on the app and went immediately to pick it up. I walked in and there were four employees working. there was not another customer there. I was told they had not received an order. A few minutes into my conversation one of the employees said perhaps it's this pizza and pulled pizza out of the back of the oven which was completely black and actually smoking. They did make a new one but did not offer anything to compensate for the confusion. 3. I like to give positive feedback or positive criticism so a business can improve. I asked if I could leave my name and number for the owner to call me back so I could give him feedback about the app and the frustration the employees shared with me about the app. The employee said it's useless to leave your name and number the owner won't call you back. I asked again if they could just leave a message and she reiterated the owner isn't interested in calling you back. I live in between the Bountiful and the fourth S. pizzeria Limon. I will not give the Bountiful location my business again given the fact that both times I've tried to buy pizza there has been a dismal failure. Most concerning is that "the owner doesn't care and he won't call you back" This is no way to run a business and I am sorry for the employees there. I didn't see any hand sanitizer even though it stated there was. hand sanitizer. They did stop people who came in without mask but another patron was walking around the restaurant without their mask repeatedly. First let me say we are foodies, we have 3 different grills plus a pizza oven on our patio. We popped in for dinner last night after family pictures, the pizza was decent but the service was non-existent, the guy working the counter was not very familiar with the menu and they DO NOT offer any plates to eat off of. When another family asked them if they had any plates so they could share their meals all they offered were the aluminum pizza trays they use to cook the pizzas. And the men's restroom looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a few days. Usually pretty good food. However, my wife has a nut allergy so she has to be really careful with everything she orders. We ordered the salad that has pistachios (obviously ordered without). I even had them add a note for the allergy because she is pregnant and can't rely on using an epi-pen during pregnancy. She was half way through the salad before finding a pistachio. She stopped eating the salad only for us to find another two pistachios in the salad. I hope they start being a little more careful when preparing food, especially with allergy notes attached. Probably won't be going back though which is a bummer because the pizza is pretty good. read more

We flew into SLC - with our final destination being Yellowstone - we wanted something to take to our hotel room in Layton, UT. We found Limone Pizzeria in Bountiful on Yelp and gave it a try. Wow! They earned 5+ stars from the three of us! We tried the Di Bosco, Formaggi, and Limone pizzas as well as the Caesar Limone salad. The Limone was our absolute favorite! Tangy and savory - sliver thin lemon slices! So refreshing! These pizzas served us for dinner, breakfast the next morning and the salad for lunch. The person answering the phone needs some training or some anti depressant pills, they answer the phone like "hello" which isn't formal for a restaurant answering a phone and they were not kind or friendly in any way and to end the call they said "ok are you done?" We had a buy a pizza get one free coupon, so we decided to give it a try. I had the pepperoni with 2 extra toppings of mushrooms and Kalamata olives. It was really good, but they don't give you a whole lot of extra for the extra toppings. like one olive per piece of pizza, or if you are real lucky a piece might have had 2! Mushrooms were same way. But it was very tasty. My husband had the Ferrari. It was super good even better than mine, it had pepperonis and a sort of ground sausage on it, with a lemon slice in the middle. We have been to all the other locations. This one is not up to the same standards. I wanted the Favo but they told me they ran out of pepperoni's and I had to order something else. The pizza I ended up ordering was the viola. It was under cooked and the ingredients didn't taste right. My wife(who loves Pizzeria Limone) had a pizza that's bottom was burnt to a crisp. Employees need to be retrained in other locations to get things right. How does a pizza restaurant run out of pepperoni's? Edit: we returned and my wife was happy that they're doing a much better job at getting the pizzas done correctly. It was better than any other time we've gone.
