The website is a struggle. I ordered lunch on their website for our company meeting. After selecting all of the meals and customizations I went to the checkout and then the errors started happening. They were out of focaccia bread and ranch dressing. So you have to go back to every item and adjust it. Ordering took well over 20 minutes. Clean, warm, cozy atmosphere. However, the young woman did not know how to describe the size of a cookie-- How about 4", 5"? Hand gestures & shrugs do not work. The eclairs we bought tasted like someone put garlic powder into the batter instead of sugar. Nasty. We'd have gone back, but they'd closed by the time we discovered this. Worst eclairs we've Ever, Ever had! Oh-- the blatant tipping war with signs "Who is a better tipper: men or women?" & two cups for cash completely turned off my super-tipping husband. (He tipped $10 earlier today at Zubs Subs/Springville on a $12 bill.) Try smiling, greeting people, pretending you give a fig, & Maybe people will tip generously on their own. We were underwhelmed. I didn't enjoy the Turkey Cranberry Sunflower salad. The dressing was super sweet and thick/sticky; looking at the ingredients it was mainly sugar and canola oil. The turkey was bland and is really large pieces, making it hard to eat because I had to cut it up first. My husbands panini was as ok, but didn't have as much flavor as expected. Seemed more like a fancy grilled cheese. The Parmesan chips were powdery- personally not appealing to us in a chip. Maybe these things are more of a preference, though, and they did seem to have lots of options to choose from! The staff was not super helpful and the food took a long time to come out, even though there was only one other table there. They seemed to be goofing off/hanging out in the back and we were more of a secondary concern. The poor food and poor service together is a no go for us. read more

Most in our group complained that there was only one slice of bacon on their sandwich and a few slices of avocado. But the food was good with large portions. This place is ridiculous. It is dirty and super busy with limited staff and terrible customer service. I asked for an ice tea and literally got a cup full of tea with no ice and then the cashier would not dump it out and put ice in it. She looked at me and said "sorry I forgot ice." I then asked for the WiFi and she says "um I don't know do we have WiFi" then another staff member who is serving and touching food and also cleaning the floor with no gloves says "no we don't have that ever." Kneaders itself is a great chain and is a family favorite but this location is very sub par for the Kneaders name, the first hint of that was the piles of garbage in the corner next to the entrance. Bathroom was not very clean, entire place seemed very run down. Food tasted.... Different.... My wife got a rotten piece of cucumber in her salad and the drinks had something off about the ice... it had a mildew taste.... Best unlimited French toast in the restaurant game!! It is such a treat when I can come here and eat. There isn't much seating, but the great service and comfortable atmosphere make up for it. I went there specifically for the turkey cranberry sandwhich at 12 30. They told me they didn't have any cranberry sauce so that sandwhich wasn't an option. At that point I order a turkey bacon avocado sandwhich which wasn't good. Dry and no sauce, and not what I was wanting. I had also ordered other things so my total was around 53 dollars and I go to pay with a 100 dollar bill and they inform me that they don't accept bills over 20's.... what?!?! How can that even be a thing? It wasn't that they didn't have change. They do not take 100 dollar bills. I will not be back to this place just because of this. Food is always good when accurate. Takes forever to get your food. I've had in store visits that take 45 min to get a smoothie alone. If you use door dash the fastest I've ever got it is an hour (I live 10 min away). Today it took over 2 hours. Not worth it. Speed is not a characteristic of Kneaders. Try calling to ask questions or follow up with an order and they won't even pick up 90 percent of the time. Not a professional way in the least to run a business. Needs some serious help on execution, hiring and customer service. read more

I moved out of Utah and I always reminisce about Kneaders because they don't have any in Los Angeles. I remember loving their Chicken Salad on a croissant and they always had amazing samples too. This time I think I ordered the wrong items. Their sandwich, which I forgot the name, wasn't that good. The taste of the cheese was very strong and I couldn't taste anything else. Also I would have preferred to have a side salad instead of chips so It would have been nice if they had offered - I was overwhelmed ordering and didn't think about it. The salad was very good but I wish the cheese was different - something more gourmet. It seemed like those pre packaged shredded cheese you buy at the grocery stop. Their poppy seed dressing was amazing though. If you ever decide to stop by, I highly recommend the Chicken Salad Croissant. read more

I went on Saturday morning 9/16/23, about 10:15am. I pulled up to the drive thru because it was actually open this time, and waited for someone to help me. All I hear is "what do you want?" in a flat tone. So I told him I wanted a breakfast sandwich, like a croissant sandwich, and he just said nothin after that. So I waited, maybe he was typing my order in. After about 2 minutes, he goes "okay" and I'm waiting for him to tell me how much it's gonna be or to pull forward, and he said nothing. So I pulled forward, he opens the window and tells me how much it's going to be, I give him a $20 bill, and he looks at it and goes "I don't have the change for this" and freakin stares at me before he gives me my money back, and I went "oh okay then I'll just go" because I didn't have money on my card so I couldn't pay with it. He hands me my bill back and slams the window shut and I drove away. I'm just pretty disappointed to have been treated that way, if he was nice about the whole ordeal, I would've been fine. But he was super flat toned and not personable at all. I just wanted a sandwich dude. He couldn't be older than 23, kinda slim, black hair. I just thinks it's crazy. read more

This morning I got a breakfast sandwich and a normal sandwich for lunch later that day. My breakfast sandwich was cold and the cheese was not melted. The turkey sandwich I got had barely any Mayo and mustard sauce on it, it was dry and sloppy. I am a visitor to the city On the 21st in the morning I went in and asked for a coffee with milk and I was served by a young slim blonde young guy with round glasses he was super professional and friendly. we were super satisfied with the establishment and his professionalism that we decided to return the next day unfortunately the attention was lousy and totally different the another young guy and a girl the other guy was unfriendly and we were explaining the nice experience from the previous day and ask for a steam milk with 2 hits of espresso when we asked he certainly stated he does not know what a coffee with milk is and tells us that he has no idea anything about coffee the clerk is Latino and gets upset when I asked for they prepared it ask if we wanted whip on top we say no the coffee is serve with that. So I notice it was low in sugar check in the sitting area non available so I went and ask for sugar to sweeten what he prepared for us with he gave me 2 packets I ask for more since it was 2 cups of coffee he gave me a terrible look with an attitude. the clerk is Latino and I hate to write reviews like this but being treated like this is unacceptable and does not contribute not just to me but another customer that is treated like this. read more

Last time we had to tell the lady 5 times what desserts we wanted to go and even after telling her 5 times she gave us two things we didn't order and left off the things we did order. This time, same lady, husband ordered a ham and Swiss to go and got chicken without any apparent cheese at all. I ordered the Chicken Raspberry Nut salad and it was extremely mediocre. It seemed very small for the price...about the size of the salads you get for $4 at wal-mart and about the same quality for twice the price. Only 5 raspberries, barely any nuts, but way too many croutons. It was a lettuce and crouton salad. The salad dressing itself had literally no flavor. Supposed to be a raspberry walnut vinaigrette, but had zero raspberry taste. It was tangy...that was it. Just tangy. No raspberry flavor at all. I have had much better salads....from a grocery store. Located directly across from the Utah Valley Outpatient Surgical Center. Came in for a quick bite to eat. This is a much smaller location than other Kneaders. The inside is cramped and somewhat difficult to maneuverer. The order counter is hidden by the over sized trade marked gift basket wrapping station which on this occasion was sporting a bit of garbage. A section of the order board was noticeably tilted and appeared it would fall down at any time. Nonetheless, display case items looked good. Sample breads today were pumpkin and chocolate breads. I had one of each and both were delicious. Ordered my usual turkey on 13 grain hazel nut bread with small cup of broccoli salad. Sandwich was good but salad, unfortunately, was far too over dressed. Overall, the food is still good but the place could use some TLC. read more

Kneaders is, simply put, good enough. They've got good options for soups, salads, sandwiches and baked goods. I feel they lack some quality they once had. I grew up on Kneaders and ate there frequently, when they had just the two (Orem and Provo) stores. Now that they're in multiple cities, in multiple states, the quality of their food has been sacrificed to meet demand. The things I still order (and LOVE) are: Turkey, cranberry salad- there's a ton of real, pulled turkey in there. Turkey, bacon, avocado on focaccia House made potato chips-- covered from head to toe in Parmesan Pumpkin bread-- INCREDIBLE!!! It's seasonal, so I get at least 10 loaves between October and December. No chocolate chips! Just the way pumpkin bread should be. Chunky cinnamon French toast & the egg, sausage, cheese on a croissant are both epically good breakfast options! read more

We had the best experience with Kneaders yesterday. We placed two orders yesterday- one was a large order for lunch and the other was for cookie kits And sour dough bread. When we arrived for pickup a very nice young woman helped us with our order. She was very nice and went above and beyond for us when our cookie kits were not ready when they should have been. She offered to deliver our cookie kits to our house when her shift ended. A few hours later that is what she did! Hand delivered our cookie kits on her own time. My only regret is that I did not get her name. I wish I could thank her again for helping us have such a great experience yesterday. read more
