So I went in at 930 on Saturday night to get cookies for my kids I teach on Sunday!!! I walked in and Hailey greeted me nice and ask what I would like!!! I asked if I can get cookies for my primary kids!!! She was happy and friendly!!! Also Eris came over and helped out!!! It was good knowing I come in when they closing and the staff is friendly and nice!!! I have been here other times and Sarah has helped me out and been nice and friendly!!! I saw Easton sweeping and I chatted with him a bit while I was waiting for my cookies, Chocolate Eclaire's, fruit tarts and other yummy dessert!!! Easton was friendly and he even made funny jokes in conversation!!! I can't lie I love the way Easton joked with me cause he was professional and funny!!! Colton came out and helped him out!!! I told Colton that I like how he helped out Easton!!! He said he is a cook and it's dead and no food orders coming in!!! Colton was also funny and nice!!! I said well I will order food!!! There was another cook named Lucy!!! I was gonna order food however I can't eat a sandwich or salad this late!!! So next time I will order food and test out her food skills cause I have read reviews and they say staff can't make order right or little mistakes happen!!! However the smile staff tonight was Friendly, Nice, Accurate on order, made me glad I chose to buy from Kneaders and they made me feel like a valued customer!!! I asked which one of these amazing team members was the manager so I can share the positive kudos and vibes I got from staff tonight!!! They called Ayden to front to speak with me!!! He was putting up chairs and removing the floor mats from front of store!!! I said WOW a manager that is helping the team out so when they do close at 10 they can leave close to that instead of making staff do all that and they leave at 1030 or later!!! I did share all the good vibe and positive feelings I got from staff and told him how I like to reward my kids with cookies if they listen and feedback. He was so nice that he said no one ever shares positive feedback he appreciated hearing it!!! I know that people sometimes get mad cause person before them ordered 7 items and then that person ordered 1 or 2 items that are right there and easy to get but have to wait!!! I'm sure that they have rules that help customers in order they place order or something like that!!! I just find it that if your in a hurry or something comes up try asking nicely about the dessert or just ask in nice friendly way if you can possibly get your 2 desserts!!! If you treat staff nice and friendly they will give you that back and much more respect!!! I just wanna make sure the staff tonight gets lunch or reward they deserve!!! read more

Ordered the all you can eat French toast and waited 25 minutes for it. Ordered hot chocolate, the machine was broken. Replaced the hot chocolate with a mango smoothie, waiter came back and said they were out of the ingredients. Last month French toast was sold out. Today they were filling catering orders first so they weren't making French toast, they didn't have enough staff to make French toast, I didn't order before catering so I was not a priority, French toast had run out, I could wait 20 minutes for the order, I could go to a different Kneaders, I could go to a competitor, and half of the seating was covered with boxes for catering service and a retail event not many seats. This morning's experience for only 5 orders of French toast was terrible! My family LOVES Kneaders all you can eat French toast. Last month we went on Mother's day weekend and were turned away. They had run out of French toast. Kneaders is awesome! Kneaders all you can eat French toast is awesome! Today the cashier told my wife that they had decided to not make French toast because they had too many catering orders to fill. My wife was ready to leave. I went in. I questioned how a restaurant could just choose not to offer a menu item for the sake of other business. Another employee jumped in and said that the French toast had run out. The restaurant was near empty with many of the tables and seats taken by boxes being prepped for a catering order. I was then told that the catering ordered was made first and so that order was first priority. And that was why I could not order French toast. I just wasn't early enough or important enough. I was told that they didn't have enough employees to make all of the food, but there were at least 8 employees. So many that lack of staff didn't appear to be the issue. Sadly, even the retail sales rep came out rolling her eyes at me, I assume because of the "seen" I was making. Lastly the manager spoke to me. She was less rude, but said the same things as the first employees. She finished with, I could order because they were making and serving French toast, but it would take 20 minutes to get. We could order anything else and they would serve it immediately while waited. Or I could just go to another Kneaders. We have never ordered anything other than French toast at Kneaders. We still didn't want to try something new. It also would take 20 minutes to drive to another Kneaders. So leaving and going McDonalds across the street or back home wasn't a great option. I had promised and got my kids excited for Kneaders French toast. I was willing to wait but the manager seemed surprised I wanted to pay for my breakfast to ensure we got our 5 orders of all you can eat French toast. We paid, I also asked for 2nds up front because that is all we can eat and I wanted to make sure they made enough, and we waited at least 20 minutes. While waiting we watched the store turn away at least 10 more customers wanting to buy French toast. Finally they let customers sit and wait 20 minutes for French toast. When our food finally was served, Our French toast and the awesome tasty syrup was cold and didn't taste as good as normal. Something was off. When we finished our first, we requested the 2nds/a refill. The employee seemed to have no idea what we were asking for. Once we had made our request understood, we waited at least another 10 minutes for 2 refills. Usually when we get a refill, it is ready almost immediately. The refills tasted perfect. Warm and satisfying, as is normal. We loved our refills! While waiting, Shawn Benson, the new head cook, came out and spoke to me. He apologized for the rude disrespect we had been given, the stories we were told, for not offering something from their menu that should have been ready, and for the time we had to wait. He said he personally took responsibility for others words, actions, and in-actions. I really appreciated that he came and talked to me. The apology was also appreciated, although he wasn't the one at the counter or the manager on duty. Once we ate our refills, we got up to leave. Shawn sent out 3 more refill orders to take care of us. He made sure we had a refill for all 5 of our original orders. We have eaten at this restaurant a few times before and have not had issues. After the past 2 months experience, we will either not consider eating at Kneaders or go to a different Kneaders even though it's further away. Thank you Shawn Benson for being a good man and stepping up to take responsibility and recognizing that it was all a very bad business practice and experience. This store needs new employees, management, or owner. Something has to change fast. read more

Ordered a croissant sandwich, chocolate croissant, caramel macchiato, and latte. Everything came out except for the coffees. We waited for 30+ minutes. When we asked the one worker went to the back and started to make a smoothie for a new customer all the while others were receiving their orders. We finally received our drinks at the 40 minute mark after the male worker who was on the laptop surfing with another employee said sorry and started making the drinks. This place is kind of in the middle of nowhere. But that is true for pretty much everything in the Riverton area. This store is really a restaurant first and a bakery second with a dash of cutesy knickknacks thrown in for good measure. Maybe to take score off that eager scrap booker. I personally could do with out the wrapping paper and little crafty projects the sell as home decor. But then again I've never scrap-booked either. (Is that a verb?) For food they have salads, sandwiches, and soup. There are lots of pastries to choose from. Most look okay but you really wouldn't go here for a cupcake or anything. They don't have cupcakes by the way. They sell fruit tarts and cream puffs, and cookies, etc. The salads are actually very good. The soup is at best mediocre. They also sell soup and salad by the gallon if you need that much. They actually shine at catering and you will probably be very satisfied with the results. I've used catering before ans was happy. They bake their own bread and rolls with good results. It always tastes fresh. The variety of bread types is very good for either buying a loaf or a sandwich. read more

I like kneaders. I really do. But this location has something clearly wrong. We are weekly regulars at kneaders and recently moved to Herriman. And our past six or seven visits have been extremely disappointing. The food quality is much lower than what we've come to expect from every other location. The service is slow and they're always out of just about anything you want to order. The employees don't seem happy to serve you and a few times we were treated like we were inconveniencing them. Like they had other things to do than take our money. I thought maybe we just had inflated expectations but it became the norm so we sent a complaint through Facebook. The response was friendly but didn't offer any solution. Rather we were just told to email a feedback address about our experience. So when I finally decided to just leave an online review I felt somewhat validated when I read several others have had the same experience. It's really unfortunate because we really really like all the other kneaders locations we've been to. Tonight I tried to order pumpkin cheesecake since the sign near the door said very clearly that all your pumpkin favorites are back and specifically mentions cheesecake. But no luck. It's been over 30 minutes and nothing has come out. In that time, they have made orders for like 5 different door dashers and a huge group came in after us and they started on that order before we got ours. The atmosphere at Kneaders is very pleasant. The staff is extremely friendly and polite. I had the caramel apple and it was a bit squishy rather than crisp, but I chose not to complain, because the Carmel was delicious. Restaurant was clean and quiet. It took 15 minutes before anyone took my order in the drive through, and when they did, it was a mess. I ordered my food the way I always do, and the young lady taking my order had to check if she was able to do my sandwich on sourdough bread. To continue, I ordered a half sandwich, and was charged for and given a whole. I had to explain to her multiple times I wanted a half sandwich and half the amount of mayo, which went in one ear and out the other. I am a fan of most Kneaders locations including this one. (Have yet to be impressed with the one on 106th South.) My favorite is the turkey, bacon, avocado on focaccia bread. I love the real turkey breast they use and the Kneaders sauce is delicious! I've heard the soups are good as well, though I can't remember the last time I had one. My kids love the sugar cookies and my husband loves the tarts. (I'm talking about the fruit ones in metal tins, not the gals behind the counter.) My favorite is their Ooey Gooey Bar--a version of the seven-layer bars made with butterscotch chips, coconut, etc. I do wish the prices were just a titch cheaper for a full sandwich, but I don't go there too often so it's not as big a deal. All in all a great little place for lunch or dinner. And I love that it's open late! read more

Doesn't look like the Herriman Kneaders is catching a clue when it comes to trying to reverse their reviews. My husband goes through the drive through frequently for us, and it always takes forever. Sandwiches are never consistent in the way they are made. I've only been inside a couple of times. One time was a good experience, the other not so much. No consistency in customer service either. Two stars, only because the manager did me a favor when I was purchasing a large order for a soccer team. The service is terrible. The food is not anything I would go back for. I only go for the pastries (and it's only like two or three of them if it's available). Today while I was telling the cashier my order her and another employee were whispering and giggling, so of course she heard none of my order. I asked her if they would like to finish their conversation since I didn't want to keep repeating my order. She responded, "I didn't know you were talking to me."
