I went through the drive through, it took a minute or so to even be acknowledged. I ordered a turkey, bacon, and avocado salad, when I got it, there was no bacon. I also ordered the portobello sandwhich, when I got it, it only had turkey and artichokes, no mushrooms on it whatsoever. Went here yesterday and got the combo#3 which was a full turkey sandwich on hazelnut 12 grain bread, Parmesan chips, chocolate dome pastry, and a soda. It was amazing, its the perfect spot to get a great sandwich, soup, salad, or pastry. Boy those pastries can really get you into trouble lol. So goooood!!! read more

The food here is great! I love their sandwiches, salads, and their pastries. But the service? It's terrible! It has been a long time since I have seen anyone behind the counter smile, like it would actually physically hurt them if they tried. I've not been greeted or welcomed in a long time either. The staff treat customers like they are wasting their time, and need to hurry up and get out because they are a huge annoyance. I made a Yelp account just to comment on this. It's that awful. Really. RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! my sister and i came here because she was telling me how good it was where she had it in utah. as soon as we pulled through the drive thru to order the woman on the speaker had difficulty hearing us and we had difficulty hearing her. the speaker system legit sucks.. they definitely need a new one. we then pulled up to the window to pay and my sister apologized for them not being able to hear her ordering and the woman at the window was extremely rude said nothing and shut the window. when she came back she just gave us our food and shut the window again. the only thing she said to us the whole time was "here's your card". y'all need to work on your customer service.. read more

I have been a long time customer of Kneaders and have always enjoyed the food. I placed a large order yesterday which included a cookie for my toddler. When I arrived home, there was no cookie. I called and explained what happened and the person on the line told me to come by and pick it up next time I was out. The next day, I went by to pick up the cookie AND place another order. The female at the window was not only disinterested, but rude. Then, the manager came to the window who was surprisingly equally rude. She made a big deal about who I spoke to and why I wanted this cookie etc. Then she had the audacity to say that she had "paying customers waiting". It got to the point that I told her to just give me the damn cookie for my son and charge me again. I will NEVER go back again. They lost a customer of over ten years. Good food but man is the drive through long and slow! If a business is going to open a drive through, don't make the experience last as long as if we went inside!!!! No matter what time I come through here I seriously wait at least 20 minutes in drive through! If my baby isn't always nap while waiting I would get out and go inside! Food: Turkey, Bacon, Avocado Salad: I had them hold the bacon cause I'm not a fan. I got the raspberry vinaigrette dressing. It all tasted really good together. Instead of just getting stripes of turkey, they actually give you shredded breast meat! It was super juicy and tender meat too! Not dry at all! Came with bread of choice with I chose Asiago Cheese. The bread was really good! I got to also try their berry pie and that was delicious! Service: You order at the front and they bring you your food. Water, utensils, napkins, etc, you get yourself. You also bus yourself when you are done. Ambiance: Small, quaint, cozy. It reminds me of a Panera or some other chain bakery place. Price: ~$8 for the salad, which is pretty good, since most places charge you over $10. The portion was pretty decent for the price. And the bread that comes with it is delicious! I love going here. My usual is the half turkey on assiago cheese bread. I add on the combo option to get soup and a drink. Once in awhile I get the parmesan chips, desert, and drink combo. Always fresh, always great, and the staff is always upbeat and friendly. Not much more to say about it except that they are consistently great :) read more

This is the second time I come to get food and order a salad, the inconvenience of being out of a particular dressing is unacceptable. I would have not ordered a salad if I knew I would not be able to enjoy it without the proper dressing. It does not look good to take an order, charge the person, and then after their whole order is made try to notify them that something they ordered will not be available. I'm really sad that my favorite Salad I can't order anymore. 3 years maybe more I have ordered a turkey feta salad substitute for chicken anyhow was told today that they don't do that anymore either order another Salad or I'm sorry there is nothing I can do real blunt and then I asked when that was made I just came a few days ago and she said I don't know. Got here and was greeted with very unfriendly service. Ordered three items all under $10 each and was charged $37... looked at the receipt and saw I there were two extra items I did not order. I understand that mistakes happen but when I politely pointed it out they were very rude about refunding me for the items I did not order. This location is ok, but the soup taste is not consistent. Some times it is too watery and others too spicy to burn ones lips and that is on soups that jalapeno is not a normal ingredient. I guess they try to strtch the soups and add too much water some times. Not a fan. All soups are thick, none thin. Exceptional! We stopped in on a Wednesday during lunch. Based on the reviews, I was skeptical that it was going to be fast or good service. However we were traveling with children, and this was a restaurant that would work for us. First of all, we had a number of orders, and they all came out perfect. We rarely have this happen at a kneaders. The cashier was thorough and focused even though they were being slammed through drive- thru. The ladies running the show were efficient and fast. We had our orders in minutes. We had 6 picky eaters and everyone enjoyed their food. The staff was nice and friendly. The bathrooms were clean! We haven't eaten here for a few months and it is sad how much it has gone downhill. The people who work there are rude and not very knowledgeable. The seating areas (inside and out) were disgusting. All the tables and seats were covered with food-some of it caked on so bad it wouldn't come off! We tried to get a high chair for our kid and one employee watched me try to wipe God knows what off off one of the seats using a baby wipe. The baby wipe didn't work and she just sat at a table and stared at me while she sat with her newspaper and a cup of water. I will never return to this place. First off, nothing they make is fresh. It's all prepackaged, even the soups. They just reheat it all up. Second, customer service is GARBAGE. Wether you go in or you try the drive thru. I sat at the drive thru for 15 solid minutes waiting for someone to agnowledge the fact that I was there, when I said "hello" they said "we will be with you in a minute". How many minutes do you need? Maybe an hour? Then after you get your order in, if you don't leave beforehand, it takes another 20 minutes to get your food....which will be soggy and or cold if you ordered soup. Employees are NOT friendly, food is way overpriced. You can feed your family for a week for a price of one combo. Kids meals are terrible. Their grilled cheese is all bread. Just not impressed. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone u less you want a cheesecake. They do have good cheesecake. read more

I love Kneaders paninis, soups, baked goods, teas, and the overall décor of the store. I don't know how many times I wound up finding a new treasure while waiting in line for my food. Kneaders has the best chicken noodle soup I've ever had! This location is definitely better than the one on Ave B (both in staff and food quality). We stopped here on our drive home from San Diego to Phoenix. I was surprised at how good the food was. I had the turkey, bacon, avocado on focaccia. All the trimmings were fresh, the generous amount of turkey tasted like real turkey not some deli pressed "turkey-stuff". Kneaders supplied our meals for the duration of our filming while we were on location shooting "Donors" there in Yuma, which by the way is a fantastic place filled with freindly accommodating people & an unusual amount of Canadians. Everything they brought us everyday was fantastic! We even skipped the free breafasts that the hotel provids every morning just to be ready to eat what Todd or his staff would bring us. The sandwiches were great & the deserts each better than the next. We were pretty fortunate to be able to taste just about everything. We were also lucky enough to pack up a bunch of was left & brought it back to LA. Was the best thing I could possibly bring back to my dad. I'v only been back about 6 hours & he's already downed 2 brownies a cupcake & a cannoli. The last few visits to Kneaders at Yuma Palms have been disappointing. Very little meat on the French dip and turkey ranch sandwiches and no broccoli in the broccoli cheddar soup. this has been one of our go to places for several years and it is sad to see their standards slip so much. Today 3-14-2022 we decided to give them another try on their email promoted "pi day" special. We ordered lunch then asked about the $2.00 per slice pie special. No one there knew anything about it! I had to show them it was actually scrolling on the reader board above the counter. After they finally figured it out I asked what kind of pie they had. They advertise 6 different selections in the promotion. They had one key lime cream pie. Unbelievable and inexcusable! The Irish stew was all water and the broccoli cheddar had no broccoli again. I almost never leave a negative review but could not let this go without comment. So sad but we won't be back. read more
